Let the Government give them PPE, allow them to pray for the sick. People are dying daily, and these has to stop. I know president Trump might attempt to do this soonest. |
This is actually very funny. It is clear they went there to take pictures to show the public as usual. The president might not even know the names of the people sitting with him. May God help us. |
Personally I think it is the government that has failed woefully. Most government workers in all parastatals have terrible attitudes. You don’t expect such a doctor to do that in a private clinic because he will get fired the following day. Everyone is frustrated, the salary is bad, they are short staffed, no conducive working environment and so on. How do you expect a worker who earns #18,500 minimum wage to put his best into a government work, it takes a man who is God fearing to do the right thing in this country. Let the government do her part, then monitor your employees and let everyone be accountable for any negligence of duty, things will be a lot better. Men naturally do the right when they know they can’t get away with their wrongdoing. |
Politicians have robbed Nigerians of every good thing in life including human rights. No right to live nor work because u can even be killed like a fowl while working. Thank God for Oxygen, the sun and moon. These are the only things an average Nigeria is left with, God in his own wisdom didn't allow men to be in charge of these otherwise Nigerians will suffer to access them. Let us put aside various sentiments and unite against every government until we find a reasonable one. Another generation is coming behind that will ask what we did in our time. Time is going. |
It is actually a pity the literates applaud him for such a statement. Do you know how long it will take him to understand the dynamics? How is he going to improve on the previous minister's achievements? What difference is he going to bring to the ministry? What are his dreams and where will Nigeria be in the next four years. I see educated youths applauding him and saying he will work, to come and do what? Do you get to find out the course inside the exam hall? Pls, Nigerians, we deserve better but it looks as if we are okay with the present situation. We can reduce the burden of the next generation by making use of our reasoning ability as humans. Pls this is not acceptable in saner climes. |
After reading some comments on Nairaland, I had to rush to Facebook to search for this guy. I urge everyone to check Asiwaju seun fakorede on Facebook. What Oyo Governor is doing is quiet impressive. The speaker is a young man, nominating a 27yr old is highly commendable. The picture posted on Nairaland was most likely several years ago. How would Seyi Makinde or the guy would have felt reading such devastating comments from us the Nigerian youths. I think we should encourage the guy and let him know that expectations are high so that Nigeria can progress. Our mentality needs to change maybe a new Nigeria we crave will come someday. |
Divisions everywhere, everyone being sponsored. No one is reasoning. Protests in the morning, anti-protests in the afternoon. No one is serious yet. I had thought the Igbo's are united until recently IPOB and Ndigbo making different Statement. I thought things should be better with the younger generation but.... |
Pls someone should enlighten me because I don't seem to be comfortable with the statement ' bad eggs amongst the Fulani herdsmen are responsible for killings and kidnappings across Nigeria'. My questions are 1. Are the bad eggs so much in number and have spread across the country? 2. What roles are the good Fulanis playing to expose the bad eggs among them or they are not known? Because I think the Fulanis should be the major fighters of the bad eggs even more than any tribe for tarnishing the image of a whole Fulani our President's tribe. |
landforeast:I think the low IQ is the issue, and it is more devastating when it is being displayed by so called educated ones. Religion, poverty and ethnicity have so taken away the sense of reasoning. The ability to analyse situations and reach a reasonable conclusion is lacking in most Nigerians. We often forget that the politicians are so powerful that they can influence a lot and make Nigeria a better place to live. They can reduce unemployment, improve infrastructure, provide electricity, improve security, why do they make it look like we need a miracle to achieve these? We you see people defending a government, you wonder whether we are living in the same country. What is the way forward Nigerians, is it revolution, restructuring or what else? |
Simplyleo:If only the government can use such opportunity to better the lives of Nigerians. It is a pity that they are there to promote one selfish agenda or the other. |
Most politicians don't have clean hands and I think the ruling party is using the EFCC to reduce opposing ones to nothing. APC bosses want to humble and punish this guy for the role he played in Imo in the last election and Rochas is still adamant. Now they have a more trusted person, HON Nwajuba a HOR member and ministerial nominee. All na politics and they understand themselves. If he repent and beg them, everything go end there. |
