I think we can all agree that men are the hardest to shop for when it comes to buying Christmas presents. When we ask our partner, brother, father or friend what they would like for Christmas, most respond with, “ I don’t know,” or simply grunt for an answer. FACTS ABOUT BRUSHES

Natural brushes used for the application of dry make-ups like powder,bronzer,blush etc should be taken care of at least once in two weeks

MATERIALS NEEDED

-Professional brush cleaner or shampoo

-clean water

-A bowl

-An object higher than the surface being used e.g a wooden or metal stick

-A clean towel


STEPS TO TAKE

-Soak the brushes in d bowl of shampooed or soapy water for 2 minutes leaving d handles of the brushes out of the water

– Next, take out the brush one at a time from the water and gently use your hand to massage gently on the bristles to bring out dirts

– Rinse the brush preferably under running water till the water looks clean

– Pat the bristles dry with the towel

– Next lie the brushes on a smooth surface with the handles resting on the wooden stick or any object so that the brush does not lay flat to prevent water from entering into the joining of the bristles to the handles so as not to destroy d gum used in holding the bristles together

-Allow the water to flow out of the bristles till it gets dry



NOTE: If you are more of a sponge person for the application of your foundation, gently massage the sponge with your fingers in soapy water so that you get all the dirt out. Do not forget that sponges do not stay so long so do not wash with pity so as not to harbor germs in your equipment. Sponges are to be changed after 4 months.

Distressed Jean [/b]or otherwise called [b]ripped jeans started out as a trend in the1960’s-1970’s during the hard rock/heavy metal era.It can only be worn when aiming for a soft casual and not too serious look..One of the reasons I love ripped jean is cos it is rugged, sexy and it gives this edgy look even when you are trying to go super casual with your dressing so here are my tips for when you want to Rock that ripped jean and look fleeekky.

Denim on denim: You can rock your ripped jean or with a denim shirt or top. Remember the denim on denim combination its already so much attention on its own so try to go subtle on the jewelry.

Any type of top made with chiffon material : I personally love tops made with chiffon material be with kimono style or a cowl neck top, so now imagine it being paired it being paired with a denim ripped jeans… This type of look is really advisable when when trying to achieve a soft look. It could be paired with a sandal heel,box heel or even wedge. You can also ditch the soft look by wearing chunky neck pieces (try not to wear neck pieces when wearing a cowl neck top cos there will be so much going on at the neck)

Ankara top[/b] :Wearing Ankara top on a distressed Jean gives this classy yet casual look especially when paired with a purse, neck piece and pointed toe shoes or box heels, you can even be Super casual and decide to wear Oxford shoe with it

[b]Tank tops and leather jacket : A free or body hugging tank top worn with a leather jacket or bomber jacket on a high waist ripped jean never goes wrong especially when paired with lace up heels sneakers or ankle boots. You can even decide to ditch the leather or bomber jacket if you think you look to serious and wear the tank top with a scarf tied around the neck or even a nice hat and Oxford shoes.

All black everything : You can never go wrong with an all black ensemble trust me on this, whether you are dark or light I’ll advise you to Rock that black top that has been in your wardrobe and a black distressed Jean. Its really good to go out of ones comfort zone once in a while

Crop tops : Crop tops and ripped jeans are my all time favorite. I literally can wear it any where be it to the movies, brunch with friends, to go bowling or to a musical concert. One major reason i love crop top it because it be made with different material be with chiffon, Lycra or even satin now imagine wearing crop top (be with the tight or free one) on a distressed Jean,you’ll love it. Crop tops can be paired with any type of accessory it just depends on the look you are going for and the style of the crop top.

So I hope with this few tips you’ll want to go grab that old jean you planned on giving out or throwing away and turn it into a distressed/ripped jean or have it in my mind to shop for it when next you are going shopping.

A socio-cultural group, Nedoghama Nedo, at the weekend endorsed the HANDSOME candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

The declaration came few days after hundreds of members of the APC and UPP in Edo announced their support for the PDP and Ize-Iyamu ahead of the September 28 election.Nedoghama Nedo comprises chiefs from the palace of the Oba of Benin, traditional priests, business owners and professionals.

Announcing the endorsement after a meeting in Benin, the state capital, Eson of Benin Kingdom, Chief Amos Osunbor, said having assessed Ize-Iyamu and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Godwin Obaseki, members of the group were convinced that the former was the right person to take Edo state to an enviable level.

Osunbor said, “We have painstakingly assessed the two candidates (Obaseki and Ize-Iyamu) and we have found that Ize-Iyamu is the man for the job.”
Speaking, Ize-Iyamu promised to reciprocate the support of Edo people if elected.

He said the electorates had already shown eagerness to dislodge the APC from power.

An Iranian para-cyclist, 48 year old Bahman Golbarnezhad died Saturday after a crash during a race at the Rio Paralympics. The crash took place in a mountainous part of the race's course, which are the same circuitsalos used in the Rio Olympics.

He initially survived the crash and received treatment at the side of the road but had a Cardiac arrest on his way to the Paralympics' athlete hospital. The International Paralympic Committee said he was rushed to a Rio hospital where he died, it also said it would launch an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.

The IPC President Philip Craven added in a statement:

“This is truly heartbreaking news and the thoughts and condolences of the whole Paralympic Movement are with Bahman’s family, friends, and teammates as well as the whole of the National Paralympic Committee of Iran".

The Iranian flag was lowered to half mast in the Paralympic Village and there will be a moment of silence during closing ceremonies on Sunday.

Golbarnezhad also competed in the 2012 Paralympics in London.

Golbarnezhad's death was the first during competition at any Olympics Games since 1960, when Danish cyclist Knud Enemark Jensen died during the 100km team time trial in Rome.
