I installed a 1kva solar system with a Felicity 60amps charge controller. Everything is working fine but the controller display screen always go blank at night once there is no more Sun outside and turns ON in the morning of following day when the Sun is out. Pls how do I correct this?

That is how the new models operate. There is nothing you can do about it at the moment. They use power from the solar panels instead of the battery.

Combined VOC for two panels is 69.6 approximately 70, so I recommend 2s 2p

What is the VOC of the panels?
If both add up to 80V or slightly less, then 2s 2p configuration is recommended.

I noticed my inverter starts beeping and eventually turns off when there is little sunlight for as low as just 10 minutes (when gate and compound lights are on). When tv and fan is also on, it starts beeping in as low as just 2 minutes and then goes off. In a nut shell, e wan be like na when sun dey blaze e dey function well.

Then after careful thought, I decided to disconnect the MPPT charge controller and connect the batteries and solar wires directly by bypassing the charge controller. Omo rain fell for 2 hours and I still had light with TV , fan and every every on. If it was before, the inverter for don off coz there is little sunlight. What could be the issue and what could be wrong? I'm a novice on solar energy but it seems like the charge controller is not allowing the batteries to charge properly. That's what I'm thinking.


Is this also a good or bad decision?

Yes, it is not the best decision to connect solar panels directly to a battery. A solar charge controller regulates the voltage and current from the solar panels to prevent overcharging, thereby extending the battery life.

It seems like the charge settings on the charge controller are incorrect or it is a defective unit.

Please share your charge controller model and your battery type.

Yes it carries other things just fine. Altho my PlayStation 5 only lasted 3hrs before it beeps battery low. I dont know much about Inverter settings so I dont know about the low voltage cut off

Please check your inverter manual on the set low voltage cut off.

Also, you need to ensure your inverter is set up for equalization charge. Hope you have been monitoring the water level and topping up as needed?

Good afternoon all, like a month ago I installed a 3kva Felicity inverter with 2 tubular quanta batteries (12v 200a) and six (6) 460w solar panels. Currently it cant power my refrigerator even at peak sunlight. When ever I turn on my refrigerator it goes off. My refrigerator is those standing thermocool refrigerator with rated output of 190w. What do I do?

Does it carry other things just fine?

Also what is the low voltage cut-off that was set on the inverter?

😂😂 … I didn’t realize it was that cheap and effective. I spent a grand total of N100 credit and N500 for drinks to keep them occupied. It’s about to be madness brother.

Isn't it a battery fault? Mine kept doing the same and no longer comes up without being plugged in. It doesn't even boot and stays on when plugged in. Just keeps rebooting endlessly. I am currently waiting for a battery replacement but with your post above, it appears I may be wrong.

UPDATE:
So I got the replacement battery yesterday and gave it to a technician to install for me. The phone (Redmi Note 9s) came on and hasn't rebooted since. It looks to have solved the issue.

Yes, they are compatible with both AC and DC. For AC, there is a power adapter that can be plugged directly to an AC output socket.

For DC, there is a cable that can be plugged into a 12v terminal. The terminal looks like those on decoders.

I don't think it's battery issue. If the battery is not swollen then it's not battery problem. I initially thought mine was battery issue until I took it to 2 different technicians and they said otherwise. A new battery was inserted but the problem persisted.

Who can fix a redmi note 9s that keeps rebooting itself. At first, if I plug it on power supply it stops rebooting. But now, it has gotten a lot worse, even after plugging it on direct power
I read on CDA thatthis is a common issue in a lot of Redmi 8 and 9 series phones, due to constant heating and cooling the overcurrent protection fuse on the battery gets a weak connection and starts randomly cutting the power.
To solve this issue, it was stated that I will need to open the phone and apply some more solder on the contact of the fuse. If that still doesn't work, then I will need to remove the fuse and short the connection.
I need someone who has the work gadgets to perform the above task.

The major problem with all these sites you e mentioned is that when you find the movie and you click download, it redirects you to another unrelevant sites such as betnaija, x-sites, etc.

That has been the main challenge till date.

Won't last much. If budget is an issue, just buy an MPS2 from CooldipoMPS, add panel and you will get decent hours of usage.
