What is your battery chemistry? AGM, Gel or tubular?

How old are the batteries? Did you buy them brand new?

When you have resolved the issue, please never discharge lead acid batteries below 50% of capacity. It shortens the lifespan.

It is not a popular brand. It is a German fridge. Got it many years ago. The brand is privileg.

I don't have any recommendations. The most ideal would probably be a model that uses an inverter compressor. I haven't used one personally but I have heard folks who do say that they don't have surge. The compressor gradually ramps up.

The 60w hisense should work too.

If the inverter can handle the surge, yes it can.

For example, my 1.2kva can power my 110watts freezer. This freezer draws around 1500+ watts for about 2 seconds when starting. The inverter has a surge capacity of x 3 which amounts to about 3.6kva for about 5 secs. So it works fine.

If it was one with low surge capacity like his, it's not advisable.

It should work. My 80watts fridge draws about 600W when the compressor is starting which is well within the operating parameters of your inverter. But have you considered getting a 1.5kva inverter instead of a bedside fridge? You can sell this, add money, and buy a bigger one. That way you can take advantage of your current fridge's bigger capacity.

Although on the carton, manufacturer state it can power fridge but I can't risk using it on my present fridge because it's a little big and power consumption is 152w/1.5a

I will go to showroom as advised but I will like you to help me look at the image below if that is enough to know surge capacity of the inverter

I checked the model on jumia and saw the surge as 1200W. It can't carry the 152W fridge.

Any fridge that consumes under 60W should be okay. Go to a show room and check for what is available within that range.

What is the surge capacity of your inverter by the way?

You can get the inverter at Alaba if you are in Lagos. Someone dropped Felicity main dealer contact on this thread some months ago. If you can find it, you can also call them.

Inverter. No brand included for the inverter. You can probably get the Felicity 1.5kva 12v hybrid at that price or with a little extra which means you will no longer need to get the charge controller.

180w panel: Just get a top tier 500W panel. Around same price and probably better output.

220ah battery + mppt charge controller: Add the 165,000 and 85,000 for the charge controller which is overpriced by the way for a 30a charge controller and buy a 100ah 12v lithium battery.

Doesn't work. You could use an exchanger's PayPal but the rate is very poor. Tell the person to use World Remit and you can sell it at premium rate to a BDC

I kept some funds on my Payoneer account, only to noticed that Payoneer deducted approximately $30 from my account as Annual Account Fee

Abeg which one is annual account fee again. This same Payoneer has always been removing some percentage from each fund I received.
I don't have any Payoneer Debit card attached to this account, why will the deduct such huge amount of money in the name of annual account fee.

Who have experienced this before, does it really happen and am ignorant of it.
I have been using this Payoneer account since 2018 and I have not experience such.
Why were the doing this, or was it a new policy that I'm not aware of.

Payoneer has plenty fees these days. They deducted the annual account fee because you have received less than 2000USD in the past 12 months. If this is not the case, then reach out to their customer support.

12V - Max. VOC = 22V (40Amp.)
24V - Max. VOC = 45V (60Amp.)
48V - Max. VOC = 90V (60Amp.)

The maximum capacity of solar panels the inverter can utilize is 1440W. That is about 5 300W panels. You can also buy more but you can't draw more than 1440W from it.

The more important part to watch out for is the VOC. At 45V, that means you can only connect the solar panels in parallel if you are buying 300W capacity and above solar panels.

I think the charge controller is a PWM. You are probably better off buying an MPPT charge controller for the panels.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.

Have you considered getting a lithium iron phosphate battery? They cost almost the same as good lead acid batteries these days and can do about 3000 cycles.

What I have is 3 laptops, my krk speaker and fan.
Please would I be able to have this powered by this solar, I also have my phones and my dad would also charge his.

Here is the features of the solar I saw on jumia

That Jumia product won't solve it for you. Firstly the usable energy from the battery is around 450wh assuming it's a good brand which is doubtful at that price point. I am not sure the kind of laptop that you have but let's assume it consumes 60W per laptop. Which will result in a total consumption of 180W per laptop.

Regular fans consume around 70W. Rechargeable fans consume around 45W. DC fans consume around 18W. So depending on the type of fan that you have, you could use as little as 18W or as much as 70W.

I don't know the consumption of your speaker. You can check and factor it into the calculation.

When you remove the 180W and the 70W from the battery capacity which is 450Wh, you are left with 200Wh which won't be enough to power them for another hour. Also, the panel is too small to generate enough to power your loads and recharge your battery at the same time.

So that product isn't ideal.

I will suggest two alternatives. Spend more and get value for what you buy.

Get a 200ah lead acid battery for around 160k
A 1.5kva Inverter for around 95k
A powmr charge controller for around 61k
2 300Watts panels for around 91k each or therabout.
Then wires and installation cost.

If budget is an issue, then get

A 60ah 12v lifepo4 battery of around 65k
A 300W panel for around 91k
Charge controller for 61k
Inverter for around 51k

Then manage your consumption very well. You could use only one laptop and buy a DC fans.

Buy the mifi. You will save a lot of data expenses because you can enable metered connection. I don't think you can do the same with a modem.

Besides the mtn mifi is discounted at 5k. It used to cost about 10-12k a few years back.

Yes.

Use Payoneer and get decent rates or find an exchanger that will give you their PayPal to use for withdrawal. But please make sure to avoid scammers.
