No. You can't backup your stock ROM before rooting.

You can use framaroot,choose the third option. You can also use vroot or root master. The choice is yours.

After rooting, use mtk droid tool to backup. You can use cwm recovery to backup your rom also but this is only possible after flashing cwm using mobile uncle.

Just got my ainol ax7 flame octacore kit kat android tablet 2gb ram + 32gb rom version from the Iyalaje 1 of Nairaland as promised today. She delivered with all the accessories that waka follow the tab. I'm highly impressed with the way she relates with her clients, thumbs up for her and 3 gbosas.
