Retaining your old number plate for use on your tokunbo car is the right thing to do but is it worth it? IMO it is not worth it because the cost of reregistration and obtaining a new number plate is almost the same.

I've been traveling for last few days. So what's the situation now?

Sorry for the late response, the lower ball joint was fixed on Thursday and the car was picked up on Saturday afternoon. That was last week to be precise. I didn't leave empty handed, bought a 5quarts Carquest 5w-20 conventional oil. I'm still coming back for the Trans automatic transmission stop leak oil.

So what's the diagnosis?

The retrieved DTC codes are:
P0135 Oxygen sensor bbank1 sensor 1
P2628 Oxygen sensor pumping current trim too high
P0430 Catalyst system efficiency
P0741 Torque converter clutch solenoid circuit

The challenge now is that the car is still outside your premises since Saturday because of the ball joint pull. I will supply the ball joint due to lack of fund to buy MOOG ball joint while the shop charge for labour cost. It is after fixing the ball joint that we will work on the last DTC code P0741 which has to do with "Torque converter clutch solenoid circuit"

The car was outside as at the time I left but the mechanic assured me that it will be taking inside. The diagnosis will be completed by Monday and estimate given thereafter.

I was at Rad Auto yesterday,I had an appointment for 1pm and was there 12:58pm. The building is conspicuously situated, you can't miss it.The atmosphere is something else to what majority of us are used to in this part of the world.The front desk is well kept, the sales items were well arranged and displayed to catch the attention of prospective customers. The workshop boast of state of the art equipment. There is no empty bay for diagnosis and repairs. Like Aunty Radu rightly said booking of appoint ment is highly recommended. The Jam Rock Caribbean restaurant is on the right hand side immediately you entered the glass house.

I went there for the diagnosis of a Honda Accord V6 2003 model.The car was scanned and the DTC were explained to me. However, there is this particular sound coming from the suspension that I complained about. While being test driven the lower ball joint of the driver decided to pulled right at entrance of the outside car park. That is how the car slept at Radautos.

2 possible faulty O2 sensors, and 1 Bad knock sensor.

O2 sensors are attached to the exhaust pipe, and knock sensor is under the intake.

It is possible None of these devices are bad and they are disconnected, it is also possible the engine computer is faulty.

At this pointyou either dig deeper into knowing how to test these devices, or you hand him over to an automotive tech to fix vehicle.
