I'm seeing a lot of crocheters and really beautiful projects here on Nairaland.

I'm a budding crocheter.

WIP stuck. I can't seem to find any yarn store in Benin City. I have searched the internet and asked questions but yielded nothing so far.

Does anyone know where I can find crochet yarn over here? Whether foreign or Yeye Extra 100g? Or are there any other good ones available?

Please someone, help a sister out.

It's really sickening for one to have a partner who tells every little thing that transpires in his/her marriage. There's this friend of mine whose hubby finds it easier to tell whatever problem he has with his wifey to his sister,he also seeks approval for everything from her and sees his sister as a standard for his wife's lifestyle. She doesn't hesitate to interfere as well,which to me i feel is sooooo wrong. If you were in my friend's shoes,how do you intend to put an end to such interference?

dayohope1: I enjoyed my wife when she was pregnant as I had no younger one to take care of. I learnt to do without those sumptuous meals she used to cook before getting pregnant. Sometimes, I soaked garri at night with suya especially in her third trimester but ensured she ate some good food.
I was with her in the labour room when my baby girl came and felt like crying (though didn't) when I saw live what women go through putting to bed. It's not easy o. In fact, any man that witnesses that and still treats his wife badly needs his head examined. Today, when she does anything that offends me, I remember those days and that day of delivery and just overlook it.

D purpose of d scheme is primarily to inculcate in Nigerian youths the spirit of selfle ;Dss service to d community, emphasize the spirit of oneness and brotherhood of all Nigerians irrespective of cultural or social background,to develop common ties among the nigerian youths and promote national unity and integration. Has the scheme able to achive dis The answer is no! Rather killings of corps members,suffering by corps members. D only reason why d scheme is still in operation is cos of those gaining from it. I am serving presently and avnt been paid 4months allowEe! Ethnic loyalty is still so deep even among youths and dey display it even here on social sites. NYSC was meant to be a tool for reconstructing the country after the civil war and it has failed woefully! So let dem just scrap the crap (now dats rhymes). Lol

ShiftControlAlt: I can't believe you just said that. Anyways NYSC is not about you it's about your service to fatherland. Even when your country's leaders are messing up, you can show that you can make a difference and be a source of inspiration to many village kids who are hoping to one day become useful to themselves. That said, NYSC members have been a source of community development in many places they served. During my NYSC days, a corper renovated an Ambulance that had not been in use for more than 3 years, another one provided 3 wheel chairs and donated textbooks to a school, one built a school library, another brought 300 mosquito nets. All these people did not consider NYSC a waste of time so why should you?

But NYSC is stressful sha especially if you are an Ajebutter.

forget all dos things u just said! D truth is NYSC is not worth doing,it's a bloody waste of time. Do you know the real reason why the programme was initiated has lost its essence. Let me cast your mind back,after the nigerian civil war,there was an urgent need for reconstruction cos the country had been further divided and characterized by ethnic loyalty,mutual group suspicion and distrust.They was a need to unite Nigerians again and thus the scheme NYSC was introduced as one of the solutions. The question is are we now united?don't we see even here on social site tribal debates et all? Killing of corps members? I say its absolutely of time and the only thing keeping it alive is d selfish interests of those gaining from it!!!

Mine was very supportive...d notion i ad b4 i got preggers was that the woman would become so irritating to the man,he wldnt wanna be seen with you in public,he might even stop sharing the same bedroom with you and really treat you bad. Well I'm glad to say i was wrong! Up till the day i put to made he was soooooo sweet to me,he made me feel very sexy and hawt tru his words and actions.he always begged to see me without ma clothes on,bathed with me,tell me things dat sure makes a woman feel ontop of the world.i tut pregnancy wld kill our sex life as a woman obviously bcomes less sexy and attractive,just looking like a round ball buh once again i was wrong. I could go on and on. The dude was so good. The whole experoence made me love him more and it didn't matter dat he was der with me during labor.
