not a good sign. Check radiator cap and fans.
My mechanic guy has changed the radiator cap. He told me the bubbling has stopped. However, the radiator fan still didn't kick in as expected. In that regards, I'm suspecting the sensor.
I've left the car at his auto shop. I'll update you tomorrow, boss.

I have a quick question. The coolant reservoir in my 2003 lexus es300 bubbles like the hot water used in making Eba. Also, the temperature gauge goes a little above the mid-point during this time. Any solution, please?
Dr. Gazzuzz, Prof. Nurey, anyone?

PS: I don't know the idiot that covered the outlet of the reservoir with a tube embarassed

I'd suggest you contact the car doctor (Gazzuzz). I think he has what you're looking for.

If I had a solution, I would not post it on a public forum.

Please find a legal way to safely have it done.
It is actually legal, lol. I hired a local tech company to do the job. I just don't want to pay for that flashing ish.
There are some DIY on youtube and some web pages. I just need some guidance so I can convince the locksmith coming tomorrow or Monday to think deeper or try a different approach.

Hello Dr. Gazzuzz,

Do you have any idea on how to bypass the programming of 2003 Lexus es 300? The key was absent when it was delivered, and these oyinbo techs are finding it hard to override the program to code a new key. He's suggesting flashing the ECU which costs an arm and a leg. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Thank you.

just buy an engine and strip it to its basic head and block, throw it in the boot and ship

What small car with the best fuel economy would you recommend.
Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic (For good roads).

small leak has become a big leak, engine lost compression.

Engine overhaul. Required.
Very correct, sir. If I was to buy the car from him, would you recommend buying a refurbished engine in the USA before shipping to Nigeria? Also, will a 2010 or 2011 engine of the same make and model work perfectly for the car?
Thanks for all you do for your fellow countrymen.
Autos / Re: ASK GAZZUZZ by Heykayxx(m): 4:26pm On Jan 13, 2019
So my friend's car (2009 Toyota Corolla Sports) is already giving him an HBP, and he is willing to selling it for 300k grin grin (Vehicle is in the US). To be honest, he is very reckless in terms of maintenance, and I'm sure he didn't pay close attention to the car when it started giving him warning signs.
The problem started with overheating, which could have been resolved by refilling the coolant. The overheating led to a blown top gasket, as confirmed by a competent mechanic. The estimated cost of repair, (approx 2000 dollars), made him seek out a Nigerian self-professed mechanic who removed the thermostat and was filling up the radiator with water. Now, the vehicle only cranks but doesn't start. I'm suspecting an engine hydro-lock.
To the gurus in the house, especially the Honorable Gazzuzz (Car Doctor) and Sir Bigkendo, can this problem be solved in Nigeria at a cheaper cost? Please see the attached pictures.

I do not have that option on my car. Please see the image attached. Thanks a lot for your help.

Since my OBDII is basic, I took the car to advanced auto parts to get the scanning done. However, one of the staff recommended a guy who works at an auto electrical shop. The guy at the shop did a comprehensive scan of my vehicle using a more sophisticated OBD and we found 3/4 errors; P2135, P060E, C12..(Can't remember the last two digits but it has to do with cruise control).

Luckily for me, he noticed the unusual blinking of my tail lights when the brake pedal is depressed - I installed it a few weeks back when one of my rear light went bad plus it is kinda fancy grin grin. He explained that the voltage shortfall or surge might be the reason behind the failure of my throttle very early in the morning and at night. He provided some links to back up his claim.

The repair guy replaced my tail lights with the OEM tail light and told me to come back tomorrow if my throttle fails again tonight.
PS: He did all this for free (I guess we have many Gazzuzz around the world).

Thanks for your help my ogas. I will provide an update tonight. I hope it doesn't happen again.

Update: I have good news. The car worked perfectly well. I wanna take this moment to appreciate Oga Gazzuzz and thebigkendo for their help. I won't fail to appreciate CarGuidNG for the free Autocheck report; it was a very comprehensive report. I strongly recommend this Nairalander for your vehicle history - both buyers and sellers.
I will be back again if any issue comes up again. God bless Nairalanders.

PS: I have clean, tin-can cleared 03' Corolla, 06' Toyota Camry LE, and 05' Honda Civic for sale in Lagos oo grin grin grin.

When explaining your issue.. You skipped the most important information.
I apologize for not including that in my first post. I never thought that could have affected the vehicle's performance.

From the VIN report, there is no history of flooding.

Leaves us with 2 possible scenarios.

Wrong engine ecu.
Or Faulty Pedal sensor.

Do a live scan let's see the values on the pedal when it's at rest position.

It's not about doubt sir.. there's no how you can hv such score with just Bsc, no Canadian experience or Education..

You hv to recalculate.. cheers..
Ifeoma77:

Have you had work experience in Canada? If yes, you're good to go and 482 is a very good score.
If not, you probably miscalculated and will need to wait for your Masters.
smslive2:
Bros, me i no doubt you oooo... Infact i believe you. The only issue i have is that if with only BSC and Maxed out IELTS, you can score 482... Most people on this thread for don reach Canada before you even spell Cana... Try and Recalculate to be sure!
Y'all are right and I was wrong. It seems my head is doing over-floatation grin grin grin. Upon recalculation, my new score with and without Master's are 456 and 416 respectively.
I guess I need to crack the IELTS and then wait till I earn my degree in spring or summer.

Do you have Canadian experience or education? Did
you write TEF? IF No to the above, there's no way you'll get up to 480 with just Bsc..

Recalculate, make sure you don't select you have Canadian experience except you hv shaa..

I hope this puts your doubt to rest. Please see the attached picture.
I have to crack the IELTS though sad

Firstly you need to sit for ielts and use the official score to fill your EE profile.

Secondly I would advice you to finish your master program first, get it evaluated before you fill the EE . Reason is that it will give u a higher score in the pool than using your first degree alone.

Thanks, chief. I appreciate the advice. I am reasoning along the same direction.

No, don't create a profile until you have everything in place. And when you're ready, don't use this generated code. Discard this one and start afresh. Next time, if you want to simulate your CRS scores, use this site/tool;
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

The decision to wait for your Masters or not depends on your current CRS scores. If your present score is high enough to get ITA, then start the process immediately. If not, then wait for - and access - your Masters.

The job issue is not a problem. People have successfully combined NOCs and got their PR.

Most importantly, go and make page 1 of this thread your home

Thank you for taking out time to respond. By factoring my Master's degree, my CRS is 502 but by using just my bachelor's degree, my CRS is 482. Is 482 high enough to proceed with the application process?
Page 1 of the thread is quite loaded and I am taking it in.

The only thing common at night is auto headlamps
Personally I don't see how lighting can affect engine control but since partial contact on a ground connector showed me "shege".. Anything is possible

Heykayxx please remove lights from "auto".. Put lights on normally & see if the issue still occurs.
If the issue still occurs
Confirm alternator voltage when lamps are on & off(you can check this with your obd scanner)
-Then check for the headlamp related fuses
-Take out the fuse - "H-LP LH HI - left high beam" .. Put light on & Test the car without the fuse, put back the fuse if issue still occurs
-Repeat for the other fuses related to headlamps :left low beam, right high beam, right low beam, parking, tail & panel.
-If issue still persist.. Consult your doctor GAZZUZZ

You can also look towards the main body ECU

Thanks for taking your time to respond to my problem boss. I just took out the headlamp fuses but the throttle still didn't respond. So I guess that is also ruled out. The headlamp actually comes on automatically once the handbrake is lowered early in the morning (like 5am when the environment is dark) and at night.

I will check the alternator voltage in 2hrs. Autozone should be open by then.

Hello beautiful people. I am going to use this space as my entry into this application process and later, a space for my testimony.

I used the CRS tool found on the official Canadian immigration website to evaluate my profile. Upon the completion of the evaluation, I was invited to apply using a generated code. However, I used a dummy IELTS score. My question is can I still go ahead and create a profile, or should I just write the IELTS in one or two weeks time and then create my profile using my official score?

Second, I should be done with my Master's degree program in the US by Spring or Summer (perfect GPA). Should I wait till then and get my official transcript evaluated before starting this journey?

Another challenge I have is that my Master's program is a bit specialized because I work and take classes in a national research center. The skills I have acquired so far in the US makes me an expert in a field that is different from my previous 1-year full-time NYSC job experience.

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. Please don't read and pass.

Thank you for your time.
