Still not fair enough. You are placing one religion above another simply because they are non violent.
Violent as in?
Mark this post and affirm it later.
U will see from now that Christians will be more busy on the Islam thread preaching and negating posts made by Muslims in the Islam section. Those guys don't respect other people's space.

I sincerely don't see any meaningful logic in a woman dropping her maiden surname for her husband's. My wife still keeps her surname till date.
My humble opinion.

The other event you are trying to compare is actually a very sensitive case. It's sensitive because it involves not just the woman but the baby she's carrying.

Humans will be humans, if some default on their agreement, that doesn't mean the others should be handled in a harsh way
So if your wife get belle, u put your financial responsibility on the innocent hospital and their staff? They should starve to death because someone else needs to live?
Well I'm not strictly saying hospitals shouldn't consider prioritising saving lives, but they had done such several times before and regretted it.

Health › Re:500k Hospital Deposit, Hear Out A Doctor. by heykims(op):
There was a news few weeks back that a pregnant woman lost her life because the private hospital she first presented at refused taking her in because they couldn't pay admission deposit. Many rained blames and curses on the doctor for prioritizing money.
Though not hear to judge but let me narrate a personal experience.

I was working in a private hospital somewhere in Osun State (I won't mention name of the hospital for a reason) in 2017 when we had a case of accident victim brought in. As per the hospital's protocol, he was attended too and stabilised even without any deposit.

The following morning, the relatives came around and requested for referral to OAU Teaching Hospital as one of them was a lecturer in OAU and lived in Ife. We heeded to their request, drafted a referral letter and handed them the bill which was 20 thousand naira (which is actually cheap as per private hospital standard). Then the story started, they pleaded they didn't have the money but would pay 5k and would be back within 3 weeks to offset the balance. They sounded so nice and moreso one of them was a lecturer and a PhD holder, so I just agreed to the proposal. However I made them sign an undertaking, and thank God I did. Though I actually went against the hospital protocol by letting them go this way, as normally the hospital usually would request them drop a collateral like a phone etc on such situations but I still let them go. The MD later scolded me for this though but I defended them that they sounded very nice and assuring. The MD forgot the matter since then, but I had the conscience in me to pursue the hospital money.

3 weeks deadline reached, Mr Lecturer defaulted, gave another date but yet kept defaulting everytime with excuses. I stopped working in the hospital a few months after but still had the conscience of letting a patient go without settling the bill so I still tried getting in touch with the lecturer yet they refused to go pay. I later forgot about it myself for several months only to call back almost a year after the incident and realised they still hadn't paid. In fact, one of the brothers started accusing me on phone that I was victimising them and not compassionate because they are Christians (the hospital name is Islam themed). Can you imagine?
I made them know how disappointed how was and that I never expected that from learned people like them. I haven't bothered getting in contact with them again ever since then and that was like 7 years ago and I am pretty sure they never went back to offset the bill.
Anyway I ensure I hold on to the signed undertaking till this present moment and I will show it here as evidence. This is no made up story. I even have phone conversation evidence too.

In conclusion, private hospitals are also functional business ventures, so people should not feel unnecessarily entitled to patronize without pay. Cost of healthcare is expensive globally and I'm sure it isn't as expensive in most private hospitals in Nigeria. I know woman who traveled to UK to visit her daughter who practices as a nurse there but had an emergency treatment there because she bled into the brain. Her daughter has been served a bill of more than 20 thousand pounds for her mum's treatment because she had no insurance cover.
If I were to have a private hospital in Nigeria, I would ensure patients pay deposits before they are admitted because private hospitals are established for business.
Universal health insurance is the way, hold your government responsible.

Wetin she mess up? It was a gang up. The North felt insulted by having a woman lead them in the house and ganged up against her.
Whatever she did, the men have done it in multifolds and they still maintain their leadership roles.

The truth is that UK employers are now being incentivised to hire local workers as opposed to sponsoring internationals. Even care provider organisations. It's the government's stated policy and they're gradually ramping things up in that direction. One has to be very strategic in selecting areas in which you want to work. Healthcare and related fields basically the best choice. Fully understand not everyone can opt for that, but that is the stark fact.

Also, the more blue collar the job role, the more likely there is to be shortages. There is most definitely no shortage of white collar workers in the UK competing for the pool of available jobs and PM is certainly not a field in which there is any shortage of eager candidates. For instance, someone with an APM certification with an existing right to work will almost certainly be favoured over an international with an MSc in PM seeking sponsorship. It is what it is. Advisable you gain as much information as you can about existing situation in the UK and plan accordingly so you don't arrive uninformed or unprepared for what you are going to have to deal with.
People should also know that if one gets sponsorship outside health and care, u pay the full IHS for the number of years.
So if u get 5 years sponsorship in Teaching for instance, that's £1035 x 5 excluding the visa application fee. That's for just one person, so if u have a family, each member pays that amount.
