It's kinda normal for a 2yr old to have bow leg, physiological genu varum. It corrects later. Some have K legs at age 4 to 7 which corrects on its own later, physiological genu valgum. However, the deformities shouldn't be so disabling if it's physiological. |

Happy new year in advance guys Exactly God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his progressive decisions and policies transforming Nigeria. PBAT isn't just thinking about today but also the future Nigeria. Let's start afresh, fuel subsidy gone, unreal and deceptive naira value gone. We were deceiving ourselves years back (in those pictures on front page) and today we are reaping the cumulative effect. The President has made some wonderful and courageous decisions today so that we don't eat the gains of tomorrow today. This is what past leaders knew but were too coward to do. God bless PBAT God bless Nigeria |

malachai89: I started considering japa last month and it has been great following this thread for over a week now.
Actually what I'm looking for is a more secured future for my family. We make enough money to live great in Nigeria but currently we're in between expanding our business and relocating to the UK via the study route.
I've read some quite discouraging things online especially about how UK is slowing turning into a third world country.
I sincerely need honest advise so we can make the right decision between expanding our business here in Nigeria or start the UK relocation plan.
Is the UK still worth it in 2025 considering we have to apply for two students visa.
Also, I'll appreciate other countries recommendations too. Going for UK because I was told it's the easiest to get study visa.
Thanks everyone. Alaye better stay back here in Naija with your status if u have a thriving business. I don't think the cost of relocation worths it anymore. In fact, many won't mind relocating back if the exchange rate drops to less than 1000 naira to a pound. However, UK is never becoming a 3rd world country. |
Education › Re: Is Nigeria Certificate Useful Outside The Country? by heykims(m): 9:49am On Dec 27, 2024 |
Infotubia9ja: Good question..
I hope I try to explain this as much understandable as I can for you.
You see all those doctors here in Nigeria right, they are not doctors when the relocate abroad. They get jobs as home care aid to nursing sick people. That is a different occupation far far from practicing as a doctor in America or Canada or UK. Infact you can as well apply to be a home care assistant as well with your university degree from Nigeria which is considered a normal equivalent to diploma here. You just have to pass the nursing exam which I know a 200level university student from Nigeria can read the Q&A and pass as well. What you do is simply take care of old people or mentally unstable people and make sure they don't poop on their self or when they do you change them and also make sure they take their meds regularly and also monitor them so they don't harm their self. Anybody can do that job infact that is equivalent to a factory job if you don't know only this time you be more careful because you handling a human life and can be arrested and you go to jail if you flop because it is stated there in your agreement you sign before you start working.
If you want to be a doctor in these countries, you have to apply for a medical or a nursing program/ degree where you undergo the process from the begining according to the countries teaching regulations and standards, pass the necessary exams, go for your training practice, write another exam if you fail you have to retake it which happens very often because I have friends who it has happened to. Then luckily you pass them you go under the process to be a certified nurse or doctor depending on the field you choose.
I hope you get the point now. Merry Xmas and season greetings. Who is this very ignorant fellow? If u don't know about something, u keep your dirty mouth shut. See how u are typing trash with confidence. Olodo. Nigeria trained doctors and nurses relocate to western countries and practice their profession. They don't enrol to obtain any degree to practice as the medical degree they get in Nigeria is valid. They write the licence exam, pass and practice. It is same in Nigeria, any doctor who trains abroad and wants to practice in Nigeria are subjected to writing the licence exam before they can practice here in Nigeria too. |
