Pls,i really don't want to go and waste money I heard if u don't really know ur way in d market u might endup buying things very expensive,I want to buy wrappers,bags/purse,sandals/slippers and then corporate gowns and India wears.pls give me proper breakthrough
. I advice u don't go alone...,,if ure not careful, u might end up buying tins at higher rates and u might b scammed since ure not familiar wit cefa,,,,,
moreover, dis is not d best time to shop due to the exchange rate.... but if u insist on going, I advice u to go wit sum1 who is used to d market......coz as soon as dey discover ure a first timer, dey'll bill u excessively and u av to b careful and negotiate well wit ur cab driver after entering naija coz of customs wahala

Your friend said the truth. The Oro festival in Benin Republic is worse than Nigeria's own.

But since Cotonoi is just at our backyard, you can arrive early enough without their wahala. . . And watch the places you go to... most importantly, dont walk alone... especially at night.
I've been schooling in cotonou for some years now, and I've not heard bout any oro..though, they are fetish but I've nt heard nor seen any public announcement bout the oro.....i can giv u sum info bout d city if u want
