National leadership of Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, yesterday, said it was not true that the indefinite strike declared last week had been called off. There was a report, weekend, that the strike had been suspended after the Federal Government representatives led by Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, and Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, met with the leadership of the union in Abuja, Wednesday. But the National President of ASUU, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, said on telephone, yesterday, that there was no truth in the alleged suspension of the strike. Instead, he said the union was still consulting with the relevant stakeholders on the outcome of the meeting it had with government representatives. Asked when the union would meet again with government and when the National Executive Council, NEC, of ASUU would meet to take final decision, Ogunyemi said for now he was not aware of when to meet with government representatives and that it was after consultation that the NEC would meet. Vanguard reliably gathered that the principal officers of ASUU, including zonal officers, met on Saturday at the union’s secretariat Gwagwalada to review the meeting with government representatives and the offer so far made by government. A source within the union said it was not possible for the national executive to call off strike without consulting the zonal and branch executives which will meet to get mandate from members before taking any decision. Recall that ASUU declared indefinite strike on Monday last week over contentious issues with the Federal Government which included the non implementation of the 2009 agreement the union and the government entered into.http://www.teacherloaded.com.ng/2017/08/latest-on-ASUU-strike-weve-not-called.html

One of the common questions most people ask is "How can I lose my belly fat fast.I have tried many solutions, but it didn't work." When you ask them what they have tried, they do say stuffs like" I do to 100 sit-ups a day to reduce calories, i do cardio exercises and use fat burners, etc. If you have not lost your belly fat, it is because you are using the wrong medication and method. And you do not need endless crunches, supplements, and worse starvation surgery, hence this information you are about read will open your eyes. Here are the top 8 ways to lose belly fat - quickly and naturally. 1. Do not feed on crunches: Crunches strengthens the muscles of the stomach and belly fat that has already been burned away which is waiting for the right time to get flushed by the body system. Forwarding it to play by feeding on Crunches, will approve all your effort to get a trimmed belly abortive.Crunches can also give a lanky body upper head forward posture. 2. Get more exercise: Strength training and exercises helps build muscle mass, which promotes fat loss. Squatting does the best job.Hold them back from below. Is at the time, and the stomach muscles will be gradually shrinking and loosing weight during the work out. This type of exercise can also be known as Deadlifts. It allows you exercise the body and enhancing all the muscle from head to toe. This will quickly strengthen the muscles of the chamberlains, and build the stand, between which and the abdominal muscles reduction are to be carried out. 3. Eat healthy food: As the saying goes "great abs are made in the kitchen" ??. You train hard to build good stomach muscle and eat all the junk to lose it. Stop eating processed foods.Whole unprocessed grains and meals are preferred.Eat the following; Proteins. Meat, poultry, fish, buttermilk, eggs, cheese town, ... Vegetables. Spinach, broccoli salad, kale, cabbage, ... Crops. Banana, golden apple, pineapple, apples, ... Olive Oil: fish oil, real butter, nuts, flax seeds ... Carbohydrates. brown rice, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, quinoa, ... Your meals do not need to be made perfect. With determination while maintaining your healthy eating, you will notice quick changes.Though certain foods [The carbohydrate family] really helps the Junk hormones which is also useful in the body but you should not indulge in it. Max junk food daily consumption should be 10% daily. 4. Limit alcohol consumption: The consistency to lose your belly fat should be more fun and vital now to you than to look for what to eat and drink. But if it happens, the goal will be to non-alcoholic drinks or less of beer because they build up belly fat quickly and easily. Beer drinkers always develops pear-shaped belly especially as they age which stresses the liver to eliminate toxins and makes it is difficult for the liver to operate with the rest of the body activities.Hence, belly fat reduction can be prevented.Take more of water than any other fluid daily. It works like wonders. 5. Eat less carbohydrate: You need carbohydrates for energy. The problem is most people eat more complex carbohydrates than what the body actually needs. Take care of the amount of carbohydrate you take so there won't be any chance for fat formation in your body and stomach. This is usually why most people get belly fat. 6. Avoid No-food healthy habit: This is said to be the talent of the fat people. Starving yourself of any daily meal wont make you loose fat especially if you do not exercise 2-3x / week. Starving makes you lack vital nutrients you would have taken from your meals to be strong and healthy too.Eat well and eat healthy too.Feed on the right food items and meals like vegetables, fruits, water etc to help your muscles function properly and be able to sieve out unnecessary fats. If you are starving, your body will burn your muscle tissues for energy - not good. This is why some people are suffering from ulcer of the intestines. 7. Eat more protein: Chocolate sometimes are higher than other meats in their protein composition but sometimes the iron keenly desired by the body could be found in carbohydrates and fats food items, though minimally. High-protein diet is very good in burning belly fat.Proteins have many advantages that's why they are called SUPER FOODS. 8.
