Why I get your frustrations and to each its owns...yes, it can power iron, hot plates, air fryer. It depends on the capacity of what you invest in. It can power ACs (that is why we have inverter air conditioners). No one is advocating for anything for anyone.

If you can't pay the BAND A price, go fuel your stuff with either a petrol/diesel generator or use CNG generator. At least, the latter will minimise your cost. Why will it breakdown when it is what is built to last? It is like comparing apple products with Transsion. It depends on the quality you go for. Use it as prescribed by the witch doctor. No, this is not true, generator is not better economic-wise. I switched because of this last year when I calculated how much I spent on fuel and I can't even use it as I like. With the present cost of fuel, it is a no-go area. I use my solar power for more than 17 hours, but I can't try it with gen and not be in serious financial wahala.

I think I will have to rest here because I can see that you have not really been into solar stuff, and these statements of yours are unfounded. People use solar off-grid and have been like that for years. You may need to check the solar thread on NL and read all to get a better picture.

Solar this,solar that,why can't solar advocates just tell people to get Solar without making childish and clearly false comparisons with National or state grid supply!
Can your solar,no matter the inverter grade iron your clothes,power your freezer,fridge,your electric hot plate daily without sufffering "convulsions" for a week,talkless a month?
Can it power your 2 or 3 ACs without breaking down,so what's this rubbish noise everytime to go for solar?
Can it pump your water borehole,which many houses use,daily for a month without breakdown?
Then this issue of battery.It's just like telling a car owner he would use the same battery fof his car without needing a change after 5 years at most.
Any electrical, mechanical component that uses battery must have that battery changed,no matter if its lead or the modern types because all battery types usually lose efficiency at a point in time,2- 5yrs,depending on usage.
Solar too is now very expensive,so its not like a common man facility you can instal with 100-500k.But with National grid,depending on the neighbourhood and level of development of an area,with 100-300k,in fees and development levy,you are already connected to your electric line power line.
Solar is only good as a backup for mainly light and low duty appliances and for limited hours in the day,otherwise,every month you would be crying and when you check your expenses to fix or replace one thing or the other,you find you are spending 3x what you should pay as electricity bill.
Even generator,asides the noise and need for fuelling,is far better economics wise than same power rating of solar installed.

As for industries using heavy duty machineries, there is option of stacked grid that can conveniently power their machines without any issue. Things dey!

I use solar, and I know that during the wet season, your solar cannot comfortably take you non stop for 3days. And please don't mention the capacity of inverter, most people install based on their required capacity. So if I install like 2 5kvA, I mean it cannot take my intended load for 2 days non stop

So solar is good, but solar is mostly a back up to power supply

I play PUBG a lot with it and 135-185ms isn't healthy
I only win 1 in every 40 games using PS5 slim
I'm not sure if the Ethernet adapter option will help improve latency but I'm dropping starlink soon anyways

Satellite based internet has high latency , it is not ideal for gaming.

You need a fibre based broadband.

As at 2012, Hyperia was the closest I experienced to global broadband speeds. The person I video called frequently worked in their office so the connection was the highest grade available. Thirteen years later, I have no idea. You have to ask around. MTN is good, though. Ask if they have a premium service.

I use Tizeti. Sometimes the network can be extremely slow just like right now there's no coverage at all tonight. Sometimes better.

Tizeti isn't good for gaming either. I subscribe on my Airtel specifically for gaming purposes.

The solutions to your problem are japa or pay for more bandwidth with an ISP. For many people, Starlink meets their needs. What else do regular folks use internet for past downloading, online gaming and streaming? Businesses do video conference calls. I hear Starlink is unreliable for that. Another thing the service fails in is uploading data.

I am currently using one, and it never fails , I used it in downloading all my games on my jailbreak PS4 , I don't use it for online games tho...

My 3 year old daughter, she would be 4 years old in Feb, is sharp and very bright.
It only happened occasionally that she would pee on herself. Usually when engrossed in cartoon.

However, it the last 4 weeks, it has become an everyday occurrence.
She would even poo on herself!

I've talked to her, yet no serious change. Please don't listen to any yeye advuce here. Leave your daughter, she will come good.
