Wow! Looooong story! Chai! You wan me to read this novel? No way! Man!! I must suggest to you to try writting a book instead you might even make a few coins from it.

You still have not made any comment on or condemn the fact that an un elected wife of the president is wasting tax payers money on unercerssary convoys and large enotourage she doesn't need, that costs the tax payers huge amounts you carefully avoided the main story rather went on a loooong rant blame on the poor struggling citizens..

What is your opinion on Remi teenubu's wasting of tax payers money on convoys? That's all i want to know stop wtitting long stories i am not interested in.
You really still don't get it... Stop being naive, they are all corrupt public individuals, some of whom holds public offices.. stop whining about something you nor anyone have no control over and start making something of yourself. That's my whole point.

I don't give two bits if the wife of the president has convoys following her to an event. And the only logical reason to not really fret about it is that she is obviously not the only one in that convoy and most doesn't own all those cars.

You all are yearning for a utopia society while such a state doesn't exist, it up to you not wasting precious time and energy on things you have no control over as an individual. Human nature is human nature.

My comment is directly towards you making action for yourself and stop dragging uninformed people into this dillusion that complaining will change anything. It has never worked.
That's all.
So maybe you get the gist now.

Wow! See how this one is just trying so hard to make excuses for Teenubu and his looting corrupt govament, it is not the govament fault it is the people's fault that president wife is wasting millions on irrelevant convoys, it is the people's fault for not taking opportunities that are not even there.. grin. It is the people's fault, it is the people's fault that the an un elected wife of the president is wasting the people's moneym
I stand corrected

I hinted with my last paragraph that the problem with Nigeria is not lack of resources including human resources which is the bedrock of any enterprise but lack of orientation.

To you, it seems that I am defending the government. Well I will say that is your opinion. You are entitled to it and even goes further to not agree with my contributory comment.

But in the spirit of at least sharing more light to what I am trying to say, let's assume you have 0 naira in your bank balance. No connection, No access to government funds, but you have a burning desire that in your locality alone, there are about 60,000 people living there. And that's your local government. A mixture of rich, middle class, a little bit of scattered wealthy individuals and a majority of low class income households.

As an individual who thinks government is suppose to provide everything, you only see few people who are doing well and majority are in the same class of the 0 - 10k naira bracket. And you majorly complain about how bad everything is.

A common mistake people often make is, they assume wealth is a short cut process. It is not.
Mind you, I am not talking about having money, anybody can have money, but not everyone can be rich, and not everyone who is rich will be wealthy. You have to decide first hand your own capacity, not wishful thinking but actual capacity of your strength, your character, moral ethics and the value you posses before hand.

Operating from here, you will find that it is quite easy to step back a little bit, and fully digest what problem is it you can solve in your locality that will benefit them as well as you in the long run.

The first step is always commonality. What do you think you or all these people have in common? The simplest one that comes to mind is, like it or not you all must eat.

Feeding is a mandatory daily obligated objective, either rich or not.

Now comes another question, what food is commonly consumed. Besides the ones you can cook and all that which easily comes to mind, depending on how far your train of thought pierces though your mind, let's say you eventually settled on bread.

Now before you start imagining you want to be hawking bread, you are at liberty to take it a bit further what makes a profitable bakery run properly.

A lot of business and enterprises works, if it doesn't people won't be doing it. However the general concept is always either being to eager about it or overcomplicating the operations of it. It's not about will this work, one of the first issue is what won't make this work.

Now you may have the thought for physical location first..staffs and all sort logistical issues to resolve, the simplest way to start any venture is to start with the most simplest form of it. While people think bakery is all about a building, it doesn't necessarily have to be. With the help of oven(not necessarily gas oven.. it could be coal with proper insulation) with this you can easily produce 500-600 loaves every week.

While that number is minimal at first, but it does get your foot in the door. And that is where you want to be. Just get your foot in the door. See it as a different avenue to whatever you have going on. And learn every aspect of it. From flour ingredient procurement to baking standard.

Then comes the idea of how you are going to raise the start up capital. This is where you the person and the value you can create comes into place making use of every avenue possible.

There's a study that shows that an average human being personally have a relationship with at least 100-150 people at any given time. Think of your church, your mosque, your estate chairman, like-minded people who you know are like you who probably know one or two people that you may need. By the time you compound the list all together you should be able have a sizeable chunk of at least 50 people as your leads.

With that in mind, before even approaching anyone of them, take the initiative to know how much a bag of flour cost, what ingredients do bread need and the kind of bread you yourself likes to eat and the ones you know some housewives, single ladies, aboki indomie likes. This is all market survey. With a bit of leg work, this are free of charge information just laying there for to extract.
The same goes for oven that can handle 50-60 loaves of bread at once.

With this information, and having the sought the best knowledge of it's logistics and cost of operations, it shouldn't be a headache to outline at least the first potential 20 people that you will pitch the enterprise to.. with the best clarity of explanation, outline what you have sourced, agreements you have in place for people you will be supplying to and inherently make them understand you have already sourced the oven and everything lined up, you can even go as far as making them understand that you have already had a memorandum of understanding with all necessary aspect of the operation.

And now you are raising capital and willing to give not only a percentage of the profit when it starts coming on weekly or biweekly basis but also a stake in the business as it grows.

While you are not requesting for a huge amount like 500,000 or so, within 50k-100k is all you are bargaining for. With a total number of 50 prospective leads at least 4-5 will return your call..unless you are an Unorganized individual that they feel you will be a bad investment on their side.

While the initiative still goes on as to when and how you will be repaying, the idea is simple enough to carry out.. and this goes the same way for any other larger enterprise. Which by then requires more rigorous approach.

Belief it or not, a lot of people have money laying around that they will gladly give out to serious minded people whom they know can help themselves and even generate money for their patrons while at it.

Even in Nigeria a lot people do it for the sake of prestige. No strings attached. Just out of pure prestige.

Many people running large pure water company started from someone's compound and not even with a single vehicle to deliver with in the beginning.

Like I said, it depends on the lens you are seeing the society you live in with. We are not a developed country. We are even still trying to get close to the status of a developing country but yet everyone assumes we should be living like the developed world. Study history. There's a reason they say Rome wasn't built in a day.

I did my best to dial the tone down, not particularly for you, but at least someone who may or will likely see beyond what I am even trying to outline and make proper use of it.

I swear if Tinubu was governing Nigeria with all sincerity, love and unity at heart by carrying every region and tribe along sincerely in his government, making humane but effective policies with the sole aim of growing the entire Nigeria and improving thr lives of all Nigerians and their businesses irrespective of tribe, I would have been glad to even be the first to organize fellow Igbos in my little capacity to rally financial support to support the government through individual contributions.

We Igbos do this a lot. We do it a lot, its part of us, it is what helped Igbo land and communities to succeed and overcame marginalization and sidelining by the Nigerian federal government since the end of the Civil War.

It has helped Igbos a lot and we would have been glad to do same to support Tinubu's government if he was leading Nigeria with love, honesty, integrity, empathy.
I think it is fair to say the man has done what was expected of him by his major stakeholders. While those interest in general does not reflect or in anyway have a wild effects on majority of Nigerians, the simple and yet irrevocable aspect of his government is that he has opened a lot of doors to make enough money if you just know where to look.

In all ways, Nigerians and the government has never had a relationship. They do what they think it's best, and the citizens complain and the underlining understanding of their excuse is you can never please everyone.

Majority has always complained, while the complain may stem from different context, the reality is the percentage of people who benefit from government and those who don't will always be the same. It is just how the human race are presently. Sure there may be more of us today, but the percentage of winners and those on the otherside have always been the same.

For any serious government to solve Nigeria problem, it will not only take a radical move but also a bold one at that. Everyone one isn't going to be a billionaire, and in Nigeria where influence through wealth is the most potent language, almost everyone feels they are being left behind while they see some others eat from the fruit of the nation.

As much as a lot of things are not working in this country, and the complain is over the top, every progressive mind knows problems equals opportunity. This opportunities, a lot of Nigerians are not seeing it. Making use of it becomes a matter of not knowing what to do.

An average Nigerian who works in bank, doesn't even know how to structure a deal let alone have the essence of it to raise capital to finance the deal. Everything is about government like we are living in some socialist state.

While I do not say we are in anyway close to margin of what we should be getting, it will be more productive also to start from somewhere. What Nigeria generates can not sustain Nigeria and that's even when you haven't factor corruption into the picture.

It is left for citizens to see where the cracks in the systems are, take advantage of it. Pooling resources, moving to solve problems minimals ones, creating a new avenue for resources instead of just waiting for the government to handle everything.

I wish there's a possible ways Nigerians have an avenue of people who will come together to tackle one aspect of the problem. In reality when you propose such, the attitude towards it is always the same, what is the government job. And with that attitude, a government who knows his tenure can only run for a limited time of 8 years will do everything to make sure he and not the country will continue to benefit from the time he is able to occupy that space.

The problem with Nigeria is not lack of human resources, it is purely lack of orientation.

And these same people were insulting me here for refusing to be part of their anti South Africa campaign .

I had stated in one of my threads now deleted that Nigerians will be foolish to allow drug cartel figures and their beneficiaries to push them into hating SA and her people for rightly calling for their deportation from that country.

They all said I am a tribalist for not attacking South Africa and that tribalism has eroded every patriotism I should have.

For calling me a tribalist for rejecting joining their latest hate propaganda against South Africa , they inadvertently admitted that it is their people who are causing trouble in SA.

I responded to them citing their own hatred for Nigeria and Nigerians that they can't expect me to be blindly patriotic and come in defense of criminals in South Africa because they share the same passport with me.

Now you can see how they have been mocking Yorubas over this abduction and were hoping the kids will all be murdered by the terrorists.

This is why the news of the rescue operation of the kids by the Nigerian security forces is really paining them in their dark souls.
In the spirit of Nigerianism brother, it doesn't matter what those guys are being accused of. They are Nigerians, and the sort of treatment being mented to them is not warranted.

In your words, it is not about being tribalistic that you are citing the wrongs those guys perpetuate in SA which clearly justifies the treatment they are getting, however, the issue is, they are Nigerians. Doesn't matter what they do. They are Nigerians. It is up to us to pronounce whatever sentence we see that is fitted for their actions no matter how gruesome it will make people feel even inside Nigeria. The reality still remains they are citizens of the federal republic of Nigeria. And in that way, south Africa government and not even it's citizens has limited right in destroying their life, properties and businesses all in the name of their governmental agitations.

With all the atrocious and nefarious activities of the Western world on the global south, do you see them being publicly lynched? Or for some reasons have their businesses and livelihood destroyed. Of course not, because we categorize the priority they impose on us as the privilege for their operations, and that's just the ones that are actually smart amongst them.

Don't get it twisted, most foreign bloods or companies managers that operates in Africa are rejected ones from their people, in most cases if not general it is more or less like serving punishment when they get assigned to our side.

And when those people come and you(we) as an African see them as a proprietary body or a representative of the western society, and invariably laying down our arms or rights to be trampled on, we are already at a loss. It is easier to judge other people when you have never walked in their shoes. Moral ethics only goes as high as your extended limitations. We all posses it, however in different quantitative measures.. A black Africans man kneeling down to greet a white woman in public in the stance of a slave to someone he undoubtedly can have as a wife or a younger sister is not demented but in all ramifications a very stupid subconscious gesture. And this happened while he is persecuting an abled bodied black man like himself, full fitted strength who is trying to provide for his own family wellbeing. Trying to label everyone illegally staying in south Africa as a criminal is just a ludicrous statement. And to say they merit whatever punishment they are facing is even more wrong.

With the help of some of our distinguished leaders on the African plane, Mining operations goes on, dredging, drilling, deforestation, theft, corruptions and looting all rolled into one big pile of abundant forceful meal we must all choke on. And this is where south Africa got it wrong.

Africans will be the ones to build Africa. Not the western world. And they seems to be neglecting that fact.

The united states' of America became what it is today because it opened it's doors to all. Even with the scrutiny going on over there today, America is still largely considered as the land of the free. The endless possibilities in the country is beyond a group of people or an idea or a president for that matter. And while there was a time, the Jews, the Irish, the Italians, and the blacks who are in some ways the backbone of that country today were not welcomed there because they brought all sort of low survival skills which involves criminality, in a way their generations got better over time and actually worked with the country and have successfully built a better world for everyone in it and outside of it.

While I do not totally be against your point as punishing offenders, it is also very sad when you see a country like south Africa who ought to be the beacon of freedom on the continent of Africa acting like animals towards their own black Africans, and summiting the whole act under the umbrella that their own brothers and sisters are criminals and illegal immigrants and simply ignoring they are merely trying to free themselves from the lowest sort of bondage. Build house in the village, have a steady business, put kids to school and have a little to relax with when the time comes to retire. They are not working to become to Billionaires in dollars. That is a Western dream

And to have people even supporting the notion clearly indicates how far the whole pan Africanism as deteriorated. I read your comment and just want to point that out

As for the news regarding Oyo and the student, in all graces thanks is due to all bodies involved. Those children deserved to be free with any means necessary.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tinubu has sent emissaries to Kanu. Tinubu’s strategy is simple. Disenfranchise Obi from the race, release Nnamdi kanu and then drop Shettima in favour of a Northern Christian and then attempt to make 2027 a North vs South affair. He has sampled opinions online and believes the myth that the entire South will vote for him if Obi is not on the ballot but he may be miscalculating and underestimating the level of his unpopularity. Tinubu is even more unpopular across the South than he is in the North today and disenfranchising Obi will only make it worse.
This just has an air of wrong assessment all over it AMINDA

The problem with Nigeria patriarchy will always shows it's ugly head due to lack of communication and collective goals within the family.

My own two cents will be for people who are in the system already.

While you are able, set up a family legacy office system where if possible not the children but wealth management individuals can help safe guard your principals. I.e your investments, properties, non concession power of attorney, but rather with votes and who has those votes.

Most inherited assets gets squandered. Even ones without complications has a tendency of facing the same doom.

Set up your principals in systems that will enable your family and offsprings to draw from the income the principal generates and they focusing on their own careers. If you leave it open. Issues like this will always come into the light.

Just a piece of advice.

If Abiola family, Dangote of his era can go under, it is not a matter of is this happening, it is simply a matter of eventuality.

Even if you have a single family.. make your children understand from the day they started knowing how much you are worth that the wealth is not theirs but for your grandchildren. You can support them and make sure they do not let their own grandchildren also be a curse to the wealth. But growing it. You work for your grandchildren, your children work for their grandchildren and your children make your grandchildren understand the wealth is for their grandchildren as well and not entirely theirs.
That's how legacy and dynasty survives.

I wonder what he will be telling his followers who are now reaping the fruits of the failed Tinubu government. Obi is coming to serve Nigeria and make it a better country while Tinubu has come to serve those who imposed him on Nigerians. He has come to steal, kill and destroy. Obi has come to restore the lost glory of Nigeria. Obi said that if anyone can prove that he is corrupt, he is going to stop his presidential ambition, can Tinubu make the same comment?
It is funny whenever I read Obi is coming to serve Nigeria and make it a better country and yet no one even with all hypes around him, no one and that's including he himself has highlight the way he wants to. What are his policies? His Agendas., his plans towards all these problems Nigeria has. All we keep hearing is, he is the man for the job. Resumé he no gree submit, recommendations not really something to speak of, Team lightweight, idealism Narrow.. so what exactly is he even bringing to the table that he can't talk about.. that's the one issue he has to address if he wants to be taken seriously. TravelRe: Should I Relocate To Lagos by Hightablevoice2: 10:27am On Jun 22
TechToyin:
Hello everyone,

I’ll be turning 25 in July, and as I approach this milestone, I’ve been thinking seriously about my next big step in life.

I currently live in Kaduna with my parents and have a stable, comfortable life. I work as a teacher and also earn additional income from research writing and occasional website development gigs. I hold a Second Class Upper (2:1) degree in Biochemistry and consider myself fairly tech-savvy.

Lately, I’ve been feeling that it’s time to challenge myself and pursue bigger opportunities. Lagos keeps coming to mind because of the career prospects, networking opportunities, and the fast-paced environment that seems ideal for personal and professional growth.

My biggest challenge is accommodation. I don't currently have a place to stay in Lagos, and that uncertainty is making the decision difficult.

For those who have made a similar move, especially from northern Nigeria to Lagos, would you advise taking the leap? How did you handle accommodation and the initial transition? Do you think moving to Lagos could be a worthwhile investment in my future?

I’m considering making this move as a birthday gift to myself and would really appreciate your advice, experiences, and suggestions.

Thank you.
Some key points occured to me reading your enquiry.

1. It is time for you to make a bold step beyond your present

2. Is Lagos a viable to pursue your next step

3. Currently you are not doing so bad

4. Asking whose made the move before and how they countered the issue of accomodations which seems like a block to the thought process hitherto reaching it's point of decision.

In non chronological order, I will try to address it as much as I can from my experience

First is accomodations..
Moving or relocation is a big step no matter how small the shift is. It doesn't matter if you are moving uptown or imbedding yourself in the home system and seeing the benefits it can offer you..
accomodations is one thing you will have to deal with either you like it or not. Even if you do have someone to stay with wherever you intend to continue your quest for growth and accomplishment, it is only temporary as eventually you will need to source a place of your own and not overstay your welcome.

Second is, cognitively you are starting to realize it is time for you to make your own mark on the world or in this case shaping your own world and is Lagos a viable place for such a move. My honest opinion will be that it can be starting point but not a destination given the academic foundation you already have. Biochemistry is not a small feat. It is up there with the most needed aspect of any functioning society be it undeveloped, developing, or developed nations. The advantages you have infront of you is limitless, however proper aggregation of that resources is very paramount. For example, in Lagos, you can gain experience working or interning for some medium pharmaceutical company, horning your experiences in practical fields and understanding the market you are building your future with. Experience matters, and broad experiences even much more better.. Lagos networking circle encompass the whole of Nigeria. If you can make a name for yourself in Lagos or get a strong foothold, conquering Nigeria is more or less like 40% done. However Lagos is not the only place you can get a jump start into your desired destination.

Which brings the third point into focus as to you feeling now is the time to push forward, that I do belief is a matter of conceptualization and context.. it doesn't matter if you are still in Kaduna, or moving to Lagos what matters is your own interpretation of what that next step is..

And lastly you are doing okay, where you are at the moment. Which will make me advise that you take it one step at a time. You can come to Lagos for a week or two, see how things are, endeavor to network with people in your field, even with social media it makes it easier. And if you are not a social media kind of person, check list 5 companies you see yourself making an introduction to, get in their door, meet guys or even ladies that you are both in the same field, understand the proper workings of Lagos from them so you can easily mitigate when in case you do make the move. Having a ground network of 2 or 3 friends already even before moving goes a long way cutting out weeks and months of uncertainties.

Having said all these, conclusively I'd say it's not whether Lagos will work out well, but rather what won't make Lagos work out well.

When you iron those out, you get a clear shot at your next milestone, be it further advancement in your knowledge or using your prowess as a viable building block that it is.

With much regards. Wish you well and may your endeavors be favored

Foreign AffairsRe: You Could’ve Been The Greatest’: Trump Faces Israeli Anger Over Iran Deal by Hightablevoice2: 6:42am On Jun 21
Isreal needs to let this go. They have done enough damages already. The deal isn't for them alone but for the world economy fluidity. With the SOH crisis, the ripple effects will trickle down on every economy in the world sooner or later even more pressuring than it has been. Militarily US delivered for them, they (Isreal) could not have fought Iran alone, nor do they have the capacity to do so. By deflecting the Iranians targets towards US military operations they saved a whole lot of lifes on their end, kept their casualties and damages to a minimum and still did some damages to Iran and her allies with the help of United States.. And if they can't see that yet and still want their ideologies of Zionism to prevail over everyone's, proves the point that Isreal is the real problem after all

Banks are not meant to service withdrawals alone. Brick and Mortar addresses do a whole of lot of other businesses.. just think contracts alone amongst all other numerous things. A policeman puts his life out here for you and I. He shields our lives with his, gets shot on our behalf...but gets paid in the process, good thing or bad thing?

If VDM gets paid by Meta and all that while fighting for the general good of the people, is there anything bad in this? Man has his accounts monetized. We see all he does with his money, we see all the selfless services. What then is wrong in being paid?

Before, you all attacked him for "not leaving his camera. For hiding behind his camera." (Even though it was a lie as he has been out a thousand and one times, visiting crime sites and all).

Now, brotherman returns from China, without resting, hits the streets, acts his talks, and the new attack is that he's getting paid and those protesting with him aren't?

You all are prisoners that will continue to attack your liberators!

Wetin una want sef?

See VDM leaving his comfort zone, fighting for kidnapped children and teachers, una dey una comfort zones dey attack am? Is he the only protester?

Damn.

Now I remember the Israelites when they were being freed from Pharaoh's grasps.

Poor Nigerians
I think you are missing the point.
The question is what is his end goal? Any regular Nigerian sees all the major problems the country is besieged with. Shouting loudest doesn't mean others are deaf or blind to the problem.

While I have no personal issue with him and his platform as a means of using the voice and media presence he gets to advocate and point out what an average Nigerian can simply tell you in a sitting, he's lack of direction begs a deeper calling as to what his end goal is.

Just as some have pointed out, there have been others before him who even stood on a more firmer ground with less resources than he is presently privileged with and to.

The real question is what is his own solution to the mountain of problems Nigerians and Nigeria as a country is facing.

If he wants to shoulder the responsibility of youth empowerment and reducing youth unemployment, he should pick up that ember and fan it till it blows hot enough that proper attention will be paid to him, his agitation and plight.
Oshiomole stand was with the Nigerian Labour Union(Congress), he advocated for a lot and his contribution even while later diminished set a lot of things in motion.

The real deal is, if Mr Otse really wants to be part of the Nigerian solution, he should pick a stand and put all his forces and effort behind that vehicle.
Not today Blord, Tomorrow Igbo Businessmen, next tomorrow Sowore., last week Seyi Tinubu. Pick one and focus on that, you can't solve every problem all at once.

That's just how I understand the language to be.

People waste so much precious time talking about issues, analysing the issues, complaining about the issues and not even endearing to take a single step towards creating an avenue for solution. And so far as serious minded people can see, he has not yet identified with a particular aspect of the Nigeria problem so it is difficult to say which is which with him. And unsurprisingly he is starting to look like just another all eyes for show face kind of program guy running wild on the internet with kids mentality type of people following him up and down like some sort Sunday masquerade.

It's not being cowardly that's my point. Nigeria is plague with insecurity issues. From up north, down to the South and not Yorubas being a coward and not addressing it..

This response does not address the main issue. Insecurity in the SW has became so rampant and increasingly disturbing that it only feels Lagos is the only safe haven in the SW. That's the real issue. On another hand, the condescending post and art trying to poke on the sensitiveness of the Yoruba inferiority complex is just a low ball jab. No region in Nigeria is particularly safe from these atrocious and nefarious activities of these inebriated bastards..as for the general opinion if you are not going to be part of the solution, don't add to the problem.

I have a question for you since you don't have the mind to face Northerners and ask them questions.

Was Fajuyi killed in shoot out defending Ironsi?

What was so hard for the northern soldiers to kill their target and leave Fajuyi?

If Fajuyi was killed by Igbo soldiers and they tell you this false story, will you yorubas agreed to that?

The man was killed together with ironsi by northern soldiers.

Instead of Yorubas to confront Northerners they changed the narrative that Fajuyi asked Northerners to kill him.

CultureIgbos And Delta.. The Deltanians And Deltans by Hightablevoice2(op): 2:09pm On May 30
Today I saw the most interesting thing as a Nigerian being outside of tribal orientation. In many ways, the lens I view Nigeria through is always of unity. As it does not matter to me where you are from but as the nature of your identity as a Nigerian

When I was growing up, being from Ondo State, we always hear it from other Yorubas like Oyo, Osun which we regard as pure Yoruba, that we of iLu Oke( uptown) are not entirely Yorubas..

And today I saw the same happen with Eastern side. A Delta guy has to defend his Igbonism.. if that's a word.

But grammar correction aside, the sentiment is what baffles me.

Saturdays, I am technically on my own time on weekends, even if it's the president calling me, boss I deh my own time.
It rained, I didn't want to drive out, even cutting out the fact that I don't like driving, assist is not around, I decided to take a short stroll outside, and walk into where I usually see popping whenever we move past..

As lively as the conversations was, even if I don't really understand the language but I speak and understand pidgin. Delta to these guys are fake Igbos,.

Something I have never heard spoken out in public before but I heard it.

I wasn't perplexed, I listened closely as intently as I am able while I am focusing on my own personal whinding down from the week stress, it was a conversation of the friendliest nature, and sounded with a hint of truth. Ibuso came into the conversation, Onitsha was mentioned as the business hub of the East and those men mainly reside in Delta, specifically Asaba..but even with the language, they still make the guy understand Delta isn't original Igbo

Now, besides my own reserve that I have mentioned that Bendel, which also came up is an extension of the Nigerian geographical zone territory before, and they as a sovereignty on their own have a say in the national participations, why do Igbos do not see them as part of theirs.

The conversation touched on wedding invitation that was declined because the man is Delta. Not to marry, but he invited his friends who he thought are Igbos to his wedding, however because he is not originally perceived as an Igbo, he was treated like a bastard as one of them stated. In normal euphemism, I think that just means boycotting.

Now I am asking, is this a joke or is the real interpretation of how Igbos feel Deltans are not part of them?

He is not a tribal bigot. He is simply reminding Nigerians that elections have consequences as he has always been advocating ever since.
Do you know why Boris Berezovsky one of the most prominent leading figures in the new Russia went down as one of the most shallowest man in the modern day Russian History. It was his his insensitive nature of capitalizing on state tragedy as a means to voice an opinion.

When a Russia submarine had a mechanical accident, got trapped, and all crew members lost their life as a result, he took it upon himself to criticize the state while the whole nation is mourning the incident. That earned him the badge of a man who is not only shallow minded but a selfish little man of no class in all aspects of societal hierarchy.

These whole issue with those students is a national tragedy.
Those kids do not deserve the current situation they are in. And it's unworthy to capitalize on it by bringing in who you voted for or you didn't vote for into it..While the government should be held responsible at full length, it is not the time to pull politics cards.. it's shallow, below national sympathy and extremely repulsive for him to come out and hint vote and who people vote for. This is a national tragedy, even almighty USA have had situation which caught them off guard.. not particularly defending the current administration here but he could have done better by asking what are the steps that have been taken if at all he wants to get himself involved in national tragedy and not advocating and flying a campaign banner..

He either stays out of it's as a public figure or be part of the solution.. Nigeria matter tire a lot of people. but it is our home. He should rather be part of the solution than be part of the ones pointing fingers and hauling blames giving his status and level of exposure.
FamilyRe: At What Age Should a man Find His Feet In Life? by Hightablevoice2:
Nigeria my country. The question is at what age should a man find his feet in life.

Dissect it first..
At what AGE that's 1.. should a MAN.. 2 FIND..3 his FEET 4, and 5 In LIFE.. it is a multi layered stems incorporated into one ideology.

First. The Age
Age is not insignificant. A guy of 22 doesn't have the same experience a man of 40 has. It's the same sport but different rules.

Second the being himself.. Man
These are your definitions of what makes you constitute yourself as be-ing a man in a world of beast. What sets you apart. The crown above, the driving force or the head of the whole existential kingdom we call reality. This is when you know you, your soul, and what it wants and needs.

Third.. Find. Here's where purpose and capability answers the question for you.

Fourth Feet.. that's where your solid foundation. Principles, modus operandis, beliefs, fears, certainties and indecisions etc house themselves.

Fifth Life.. Question of Faith in your own self, in your belief, fulfilment in your principles and your practical ability to consolidate and incorporate it all.

Hustling is not everything. Some people make money and are still miserable, some people make enough and feel fulfilled.

At what age precisely.. I'd say in your early 30s. At that time, you have a limited room for errors. So everything else, be it mistakes and all un-understanding stops. You are solely responsible for everything that happens to you or your life trajectory after this point. It is the Rubicon of man. Once you cross it, there's no turning back.

So if it's business, get on it rigorously.. if it's peace of mind, shape it's avenue.. if it's fulfilment create it's path.

Okay but I asked a direct question in my post, your whataboutism does not address the concern or challenge I made.... I believe you are a Nigerian, still supporting it's existence even though you are making the argument here about who is to blame... My question to you is, why have you continued to defend Nigeria, supporting it's existence till now and not demanding for a referendum to exit from it if you feel so pained about your history as I can deduce from your comment.....? If you can make a convincing argument as to the rationale behind this in defense of Nigeria, I will relinquish my agitation to end Nigeria and apologize to everyone here....
Besides many advantages, one of the sole purpose of a sovereign state like Nigeria functioning together as an indivisible state is the space it occupies on the world stage.

If Nigeria, the most populous black nation on planet earth should disintegrate into factions and pieces, it does not only set Africa further back another half a millennium but sets the entire Black Race apart symbolically as an Unorganized and an Inferior Race on earth, and to the other 2 human races, i.e the Caucasian/European Whites and the Arab/Asiatic People. The Mulatos, Latinos, and the rest are simply a mixture of these 3 races. So in a way that's one of it's sole reason. And much so why we are charged with the responsibility of keeping it together even when it means fighting years of primitivism amongst ourself. The black man, as a whole, we are not yet that advanced in terms of many aspects that may condition us to be compared to the other 2 races in this world.. Individualism is not enough, unless we can see the broader picture.

For instance, our lack of collectiveness is deeply rooted inside us to the point that it is evident even in the most minute aspect of human participations. FAMILY.. a black man standard of marriage compared to the other race is not the same. This i don't mean as an individual but collectively as a whole. Even with other blacks who are citizens of other parts of the world. So for one, we are charged with the collective responsibility of upholding the mantle for the black race, no matter how ignorant we are of it's significance

As to the advantages of Nigeria as a country, there is a lot to it than what meets the eyes. While it may be difficult to see currently because of challenges the country has been facing, largely short sightedness in terms of policies, directions and personnels who has led the country, not just from the current administration but concurrently with previous ones, one of the most singular advantage we have is not just our population alone, but also our landmass.

Majority of lands in Nigeria is still unused. And same goes for it's human resources. But back to the landmass. An unused land is not only guaranteed future assets but one of the most valuable assets in this world. Land remains the most singular indistinguishable asset God gifted man and we are blessed with a lot of it collectively as one nation.. Not just for Agriculture which will feed us, our neighbors, and that's not including exportation beyond the shores of Africa. But also future innovations, and the previous ones from the new world we are trying to catch up with and emulate.

The shift to major cities will subdue when it reaches it states of diminishing returns and people start looking beyond the horizon of city migration alone for opportunities. Keep in mind, we haven't built our first Tech City yet, our first Agro Industrial City is not yet built, Holiday Towns, Connecting market zones between cities or states, even border towns are still in their most undeveloped states as the future manufacturing hubs and factory locations and these are just to name a few. Then there's our culture, our collective strength on the world stage which is another topic of it's own but for these, I will keep it at landmass only

While we may be plagued with insecurities, lack of national agenda, decline in National Orientation etc the advantage of staying together is way more higher than the advantage of dissolution in anyway. What makes a country prosperous isn't just people of one tribe, but a diversity of people with differences in idea and ways of life, all of which will be advantageous to each other when properly annexed and used for the greater good of the collective whole.

The opportunity that exist in Nigeria being a nation is not only mind blowing to any reputable economist but the business community as a whole. The homogeneous challenges we are facing is merely a byproduct of some radical mindset that still seats at the forefront of the individual in survival mode who is yet to see there's only limit to how far he only can go without the whole collective whole..

I can go on and on about other relevant aspects of it, but the reality is no matter how I try to painstakingly explain it for or to someone who can't see it, it wouldn't necessarily matter much because of the predisposition they already have towards the idea of why Nigeria as a country and as the most populous Black Nation on earth must stand indivisible.

So far everyone seems to be skipping past the real issue the guy has. It is not numbers problem it's a psychological one it seems.

First thing I notice and that I will like to ask the guy is he over doing something, over compensating for something in some ways because he seems like the type of person that is prone to helping people, is he addicted to any vice or habits? What is his conscious connection with money like.. is it a tool, a resources, or just means of gratification.. all these he needs to know first. And like I said, even a philanthropic kind of person can be drained if not properly managed.

He most definitely have a hole that drains him.. the way I see this, it's not about maths and the numbers. You can set budget and all that.. open business and all that. Until he is willing to come out and talk about the real problem, any other solution will just be a a bandaid and only temporal before the wound opens up again.. I say these out of experience. 1 million naira might seem like much to a lot of people, but to some, especially when you know it will surely come, you just do as you wish , and that's the first thing he might need to address.

Second is I can't say for sure but probably sometimes there may be arguments between him and his partner, he should pay attention to this sides as well, what he himself is complaining about, what the wife is also complaining about. There are just so many aspect of life that contributes to however he is feeling at the moment. While there is a proper solution.. I can't offer the solutions without knowing the problem, so far all he has said is just symptoms of a problem.

I actually do disagree. In the President latest interview.. actually one of the point the Interview pointed out was the industrious spirit of the nation. And if we are not being bias, it's easy to identify the leading geographical zone when it comes to being industrious. Which raised another question of being marginalized, in which the president prudently reply, No Nigeria has control over which Tribe he or she is born into, he may have been born an Ibo or even an Ibo man could have been born a Yoruba, but all that matters is Nigeria is home. And it is a beautiful country if you know how to use it.

I think Aso Rock will likely green light the projects. As for where will it get started first, it's still hard to say. Probably Akwa Ibom, because besides the fact that they have been on that whole case for a while now and it's dragging by its feet it looks more and more plausible.. With the development around the Coastal Road there's a possibility it will be the first.

Understandably all the projects can't all be happening simultaneously. It will be ludicrous to even try to. And according to the recent interview granted by the President in the African Forum saw it on YouTube few hours ago. He did mention one of his philosophy in governance is engaging in Audacious Infrastructural Projects. He sighted the government support for the Dangote Refinery, and even goes further as to his approval on issuing an executive order that crude should be sold to the Dangote Refinery in Naira instead of wasting much time with FX bureaucracy and all that. He also cited the Coastal Road development and specifically mentioned Calabar, that may in some ways attract and boost investors confidence. Even if that will likely be after the election.

The interviewer also highlighted that is he looking forward to doing his best in the first 2 years after re-election which he didn't particularly bite more into even with reference to Bill Clinton doing his best work in the first 2 years of his second term and also Former President Obasanjo with his reforms.. He touched on Trump's boldness and made a reference to Nigeria being the Big brother in the Western hemisphere of Africa and the Fat Lady in Africa as a whole, i.e grandma I think that's the metaphor, that like the Fat Lady everyone still has to dance to her tunes when she plays.

It was a short interview but he did made mention of some points about audacious projects and these doesn't seem like a coincident gearing towards election and his possible re-election campaign flagship project.

Stop making a dumb comment here; the guy you quoted was right. Some of you have never done anything reasonable in life.

Before a private player decides the location to invest money, they do a feasibility study first. The outcome of the study will determine whether they should pursue it or not.

You think making money is easy and someone will invest their hard-earned money in a business or place where they cannot regain it or make profits later.
I am not sure he caught that aspect properly. Business motto is Profit first. Control second. Everything else simply falls back in line behind that

Coins from that era were issued by same Rothschild with the same seal

And you can also see the NY Time article by one of your own who wrote about her grandfather being a major slaver and who carried a license to supply Rothschild plantations in South America with slaves from ibo land as late as 1910s despite there been a ban on global slave trade decades earlier.
