Boss, how did you get your own number for calling endusers? Could you please shed more light on how we can go about getting one or recommend anyone that sells it?

A friend here shared their dingtone number with me and we've been using it together since last year and it's very good. You can try dingtone. He bought the number last year for like $8 or so.

@Lawrence..I believe this end-user is genuinely interested. Do what can to win the sale. Even if its another domainer to help u receive her call.

I believe in using every reasonable method to convince buyer/close deal o... nothing to be shy abt, na money we dey find biko.

Gud luck

U got me wrong. The person who will help you call is trying to get their own share too, that's why they will only insist on calling endusers who ask for call. But if you have your own number and can call by yourself, you will have the freedom of calling any enduser u want, especially those ones that like ghosting. And bros why did u call me by my government name here grin

Lol. The guy I contacted said he only make calls iff the end-user requests for it.
I'll try getting a US number.
Thanks.

That's reasonable. It's only fair to call those who ask for it.

It's registered at porkbun... How do I implement the forwarding?
Thanks

Click on that arrow beside/under the domain name u intend to forward. U will see all the options there, scroll down and click on URL forwarding. It will ask you to use the default pork—bun nameservers. After that, copy and paste the enduser’s website in the “forward traffic to” box. Ignore the other boxes. Do that and you’re done.

Have similar issue for up to 5 names at the moment but don't have a means of calling yet.

Maybe get a US number or ask one of these guys to help you call. I used to think my strong naija accent would be an issue but the enduser I spoke with understood everything I said and even thanked me for speaking with him lol

I tried to redirect the domain to their website using the nameservers I saw on their whois info but it wasn't landing. Can you throw more light on that?

Nameserver? U don’t need to do that. Where was the name registered? All you need to do is domain forwarding.

Hi everyone,
Pls how else can I convince this end user?
I have already directed him to Dan(a GoDaddy brand) and also assured him that the buying process is safe. It seems he's skeptical about it. Since 2 days now.

An enduser made me an offer of $545 on Dan two days ago but refused to pay because he had the same concerns as this person. He called me and I explained the whole process to him and also told him I will redirect the domain to his website and he paid immediately after I did that. So try redirecting the name to their website. And also place a call if u can, it’s quite effective.

Seems DAN now allows SAV Domain Push. I see SAV taking over with their 8.88 for com...though came late, why didn't this happen when SAV was 6.99 for com. Thus the difference between SAV & Dynadot for coms is now 1usd.

Name//cheap has been around $7 for long now and they are way better than sav

ollybode don't use someone else's card...

If the name you registered on the site is not the same name on the card your site account may be flagged for fraudulent activity and blocked until you do a KYC ( Know Your Customer ) and verify your account..

Its better for the person to send the money to your card then pay with that card...

well he better use pay pal then

Morning bro, I have not been able to create one, It kept on with "overloaded at this time, try again".

I have like 7 hours for the payment to lapse. Can you suggest any other alternatives visual cards provider

Pls any suggestions from the members is appreciated

My honest advice is to use somebody else’s card. None of these platforms will allow you get a card today unless u do KYC and 7 hours is not enough time to get verified.

Many thanks. One more please

So how do I convert GBP to USD? Or How will I be paid in USD with GBP account?

Note: I have a dorm account with GTB
USD, Euro and GBP

Once u get paid in GBP via Grey, it is very easy to convert to USD and to naira too then send to your naira bank account. all the options are there and the whole process barely takes a minute to complete.

The rate is so low, losing almost double . Thinking of using an exchanger domiciliary account to receive payment on afternic, in case grey did not work. Is it possible ?

Just try your best to get your grey account. I’ve been using it to accept payments from afternic for like 2 months now and it’s really the best.
