santagelo25: @hj,you have made a very good point but what about those that cant afford IVF?I was diagnosed of zero sperrm count(azoospermia). The last time i visited the hospital, the doctor-in-charge after going through my surgical result, said it is likely that i was given birth to like that.I rejected it immediately.I know more than 3 different girls that took in for me(confirmed).I have done testicular biopsy and the result of the surgery is primary testicular atrophy..I took time to google it and found out that i can still father a child even without IVF/IUI/ICSI.Besides,God is still very much awake.I cannot be barren/sterile or whatever it is being called.Presently,i am taking some medications which i strongly believe will yield a positive result.According to an uncle who is into this natural herb treatment,he said the cause of all this sperm count issue is due to the collapse of the tube where the active sperm passes through. As a result,it blocks the sperm from getting to the woman's egg.Santangelo, continue to use your medication and remain positive, I am a believer in the strenght of the body and believe every ailment can be healed, even if it takes time, watch your diet, when you are at home DONT WEAR PANTS, allow good ventilation to your vital parts and do your best to make your wife at ease. God will surely step into your situation. The environment and the world we live in today has so many dangers, even putting your tv on standby sends rays round the house. You might need to see a urologist to run some test on you, there is one where a instrument is put through your backside and it kinds of takes a picture of your vas deference to see if it is an obstructive blockage or not. |
This is an amazing thread, I have been there done it and have the t shirt to show for it. It is a very life changing experience when you are told everything is zero, the world stops, I was performing like a horse but nothing to show for it, went through series of SA....no show, who can you discuss this kind of matter with, you carry your cross alone and start pitying your innocent wife and then you start thinking of why you didn’t do the test earlier, why the devil has decided to disgrace you this way. The most painful thing is watching people pray for the wife and tell her to go from one counselling session to another when you know you are the one with the problem. Then you start asking question and go for testicular biopsis, there is sperm in the sack but it isnt coming through, you start racking your brain, I even called the hospital in which I was born to request my baby file (the way the brain thinks in moments like this arent logical). Then you start remembering that foolish girlfriend of the past who said they got pregnant for you at some point but terminated it without telling you. The brain starts thinking what is the distance between the sack and the main man that sperm isnt flowing through, you now say okay, cant we repair the tubes, you go for another test in harley street and then you hear those words that tells you hope is lost " it is unobstructive blockage" meaning they don’t know. Then they tell you about IVF and how much it costs, then you put the poor wife through a mind buggling series of injections for about 14 day and then they cut your sac open and remove some samples and remove madams eggs and then put them together, then you have to wait for news of whether the embryos formed well..........What has eyes not seen, how many cycles has one gone through but finally God did it, I remember just holding her and thinking what took you so long. IVF is easier said than done but it was our saviour, when your wife has gone through so many cycles you come to respect and worship her, you might have your little quarrel but deep down you know it wasn’t easy, how many times have we waited for that phone call on the 14th day after transfer to know if she is pregnant or not, how many times has one heard...sweet I am not pregnant in between tears......but the one phone call that brings good news has a way of reviving every dead cell in your body. For guys reading this, married or not, go and check yourself and adhere to most of the advice already given. Men are the cause of about 30% of most couples with child issues and they are always refusing to even go for SA, even if you can shoot from one end of the room to another, it has nothing to do with the quality of your sperm. |
In as much as this topic is quite laughable, it touches on most of the fundamental flaws of the Nigerian community. I can understand every ones views on the Osuofia issue but there are a number of things I need to clarify The police have the right to storm ANY premises if they feel a crime is taking place Osuofia is not justified in approaching the Police that is the duty of the hall/club manager If Osoufia does not speak the language …what was he saying? The rule of OBEY B4 COMPLAIN applies in every country. Most of those at the event were illegal immigrants….about 67 were deported Most Nigerian comedians are only experts at abusing people Basket mouth went to Austria and in front of and audience of 50% Nigerian and 50% Austrians declared that he hates Austrians because they are racists; this is a country were 3in every 4 Nigerians are married to Austrians. We have so descended to a level where someone would abuse you and then you clap for him I Think Nigerian entertainers need to be properly educated about how to portray themselves outside Nigeria. Sunny Ade, Fela, Lagbaja and Femi Kuti just to name a few have been touring the world for ages without any police problems. I am not supporting the insults the Nigerians are getting but sometimes you have to accept that they asked for it. We need to start looking inwards to find the solution to our problems; we are very good at blaming others for our misfortune and I fault Osuofia for having such a show in Holland, where majority of Nigerians don’t have proper immigration papers. The likes of egoldman and militia are both right in trying to uphold the integrity of Nigeria, although there approach might differ. The bottom line is we are all finding a way to make Nigeria good again and we need to go back to the basics, instead of complaining about we were mistreated maybe we should find ways of making sure such does not happen again. |
