Stop number 3 completely, I would advice you save the cash. Control number 4(I mean 3 kids is beyond okay man). Also, you need a new job with a better pay or another source of income.

Lastly, talk to your madam(wife), I'm aware that it is tough out there but anything is better than doing nothing.

FamilyRe: Pressure To Marry Early by HMPD: 7:00pm On Feb 03, 2019
If you have the intention of travelling out to the west then don't get married. I will advice you focus your attention on your travelling out plans considering your age.

200k monthly income with other reliable source of income should be able to sustain any marriage

I will suggest you focus on your travelling out plans, career development and establishing more source of income for now because Marriage and work is pretty much demanding and leave no or little room for self growth

Erums:
Hello guys,

I'm going to be brief,

Im starting to receive pressure from family to get married, mind you im just 27 and i have a job, payment is average if compared to the nigeria economy monthly basis if i work pretty hard 200k upward. It's not really abt the money but my family feels I'm all prepared to be married as at now. Thou I have the intention of traveling to the west and starting a life, what I'm gonna do there I don't know yet, thus I'm still keeping a low profile on that not letting family know.

I just need candid advise from matured minds.

Is it not too early to marry?

Can 200k sustain a family pretty well?

. I don't want my family lacking, atleast my wife and my kids should be able to get thier demands averagely met.

I need experience people to guide me out here. Thanks

My application status is still on background check.

Statement of results for bsc in banking and finance, and MBA. Original certificate still in process. Bsc was 2008, MBA 2012
Transcript for bsc, just sent that of MBA the day before yesterday.
Proof of finance: My dad's acct of a little over 3m, pension statement of almost 5m & sponsorship letter, My uncle who is a citizen and co sponsor just attached his employment letter showing how much he earns (no acct statement or fund transfer, he works for government of Nunavut though), citizenship certificate and sponsorship letter.
First semester School fees receipt (8,095.50 cad) and invoice
I had treasury bills of 1.1m and also pension of 400k plus, didn't submit SOA.
Employment letter, no letter of introduction from company
Company ID
Up front medical done on July 31, 2018
Police report done August 15, 2018

I had no landed properties document though I am a first son to my dad, but his houses have no full documentation which I didn't have the time to purse.

I decided to put my full details for those who still doubt it's impossible for post graduate diplomas or certificate applications to get approval. Funny enough I even have a masters. And I'm 31
Secondly, I work in customer care telecommunications, and stated in my sop that I wish to change career path to project management to avail myself with abounding project management jobs in telecommunication. So career path change is possible.
Lastly, based on what I have seen here I wouldn't say I have strong home ties, I just stated in sop that I needed to better myself as a first son to be able to take care of my parents and 4 other siblings.

If my application was disserted here, truth is I would be told not a tight application . But I did my best based on what little I had available and relied on God to perfect everything, and I strongly believed... Thank you Jesus. I wouldn't lie I didn't fast and pray, but I prayed fervently.

I just did a hardware removal surgery for a tibia fracture I had in an automobile accident last year. Have to walk with crutches for at least 3-6weeks, but that won't stop me from bursting into vfs on Monday.

BTW... For those who have done ppr, hope I can get my passport back before Friday on 26/10/2018 as I'm to resume work on Sunday being 28/10/2018.

Please forgive my long epistle, I'm so happy.
For all trv hopefuls, don't give up. I'm a living testimony.[/quote]

Thank you, Sir.

A sound SOP must be well paragraphed and each must serve a purpose. It must contain the following:

Brief introduction of yourself, your academic background and work experience.

Your intending program, school, start date and duration.

Reasons for choosing the program. Reasons for choosing the school. Reasons for choosing Canada instead of doing the program in Nigeria. How will the program benefit you? Narrow the benefits to economic, academic or career.

Is your undergrad degree related to the intending program or your work experience? This must be addressed.

What are your goals? Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Have your traveled out of Nigeria before? If no, why?

How do you intend to finance your studies in Canada? Scholarship? Self-sponsor? This must be stated with proof (SOA or sponsorship letter) shown.

Make a checklist of all the documents you're submitting with your application.

A well written SOP addresses all the denial reasons: purpose of visit, travel history, insufficient fund, home tie, asset & current employment situation etc.

Best of luck.

Hello Jnyuwa02,
Can canada check your travel history in Africa Countries?
Thank you
jnyuwa02:
Yes absolutely they do! Every country you have visited they do and see what your history of living or travelling there looks like. The US sharing information booklet I have here says if you applied for visa or lived in the United States, Canada will contact DHS, the Department of Homeland Security. Canada has a bilateral agreement with the United States and query the joint information network automatically and it gives them information about an applicant. And if not satisfied, they manually request an individual’s entire immigration file from the country visited or lived or applied for visa. That is why it is important to answer honestly the questions concerning your immigration history and disclose everything matter of factly. The information you provide about your immigration history is verifiable by Canada from countries they signed bilateral agreement with on third country information sharing.
