With the great positive results I have recorded so far, I was determined to try and reach my monthly target at the end of today. After a couple of hours spent trading the random indices, I am happy to say that my goal has been achieved and my account successfully doubled. The challenge now is to keep it from depleting and pushing it even higher, as far as I can go till the end of the month.

With a larger capital and a greater cushion certain elements of my money management strategy would change. Notably, my stake amount would most likely increase to $20 per trade in keeping with the tradition of entering 10% of my account per trade.

I hour and upward, but most of my entries are hourly.

After first week of trading, account balance increased by 60%. 40% target left to be achieved in the next 3 weeks to increase account balance by 100%. This is going better than I had anticipated. From now onward, just because I'm beginning to feel more comfortable with the extra cushion I have, I may increase number of trades per day up to a maximum of five, depending on how many setups appear.

phoenixfx: HEADS UP !!!: The hidden divergence hinted at poor reaction to news (refs EURUSD 4HR)....Trend bias of the pair slowly changing to SELL BIAS. That drop down will take some time = USD CAD.

What exactly are you doing changing your bias from sell to buy, buy to sell with the close of each candle? For a serious trader, you spend an awful lot of time staring at your charts.

I funded mine using a payment agent. I suppose any means of funding would do just fine, though using your Mastercard would likely be the least expensive method.

I thought I already gave an answer to this. Just to reiterate: I would not quit. I would continue, as long as my ideal setups present themselves. I agree that high probability setups are no guarantee of success, they only possess a higher potential for successful trades and that's pretty much as good as it gets. It's possible that continuing after several losses is foolhardy, but it's what I intend to do.

I understand where you're coming from. To avoid such a scenario, I only trade high probability setups. I don't anticipate making three consecutive losses . If such were to happen however, well, that would be a disaster, but I'd have to stick to my plan and try to come back. And yes, risking 10% per trade.

Yes I would continue looking for good setups throughout the day, risking the same 10%. But then, I'd have to place two successful bets to achieve my daily target, which complicates things. What I'd rather have happen is for the first scenario to play out nicely for as many days as possible.

Result: Trade successful and daily target achieved. No more trades will be placed today.

Hello binary options traders,

After three failed attempts trading binary options over the past two years, I have decided to open this thread to record my progress and hopefully my success on this final attempt. I have come to the realization that my past failures were not as a result of a lack of skill or knowledge, but came about due to indiscipline and greed. I made some good money and in an attempt to make more too quickly, I lost it all.

And so now, with this thread, and hopefully with the participation of other successful or aspiring-to-be-successful traders like myself, I hope to be able to dispel the belief that a living cannot be made trading binary options, or forex for that matter. I know it is possible to be successful and I already would have been had I not been reckless on my previous attempts.

For this final attempt then, my personal goal is to achieve a 100% increase on my account balance at the end of every month (20 trading days). To make this happen, all I need is to make 5% of my account daily, a task which is easily possible with just one successful trade every day, risking 10% of my account per trade.

I will be placing all of my trade calls and updates here. Feel free to take these calls and this challenge with me, or to contribute in any way you can. Let us prove that it is possible to be successful trading binary options.
