xbitttt: buh I thought they r selling supplementary forms for economics .....meaning more space 2 b filled ryt?True, but what I'm trying to say is your score <which I don't know,> has to be pretty high to increase your chance of getting admission. I don't know why you still want to supplement but psychology is a good course. Or are you looking at the job prospects and demand for psychology graduates in Nigeria? |
Largas: In other universities, if one performs incredibly well academically and obtains good grades, he can port from his department to another department of his choice, especially if they are related. I don't know if it is done in uniuyo too?The thing is, I don't know his scores. |
xbitttt: psychology and economics belong to the same faculty(social science) and yes, I do have d right o'level combinations to study econs, buh I don't know my chances if I want to switch Largas: Bro, honestly I don't live in Akwa Ibom state and have only visited once(on postutme day). Everything I know about the school is here on Nairaland and it doesn't answer your question.xbitttt, your chances are quite slim. From statistics, 294 students applied for psychology while 1341 students applied for economics this year. About 600 might have written the putme, which leaves about 105 scoring pretty good in the test. I don't knw how many students will be admitted in this department. You can do the remaining maths. Psychology is still a good course though. |
Udeme288: Yeah I've supplemented. Please what did u want to tEll me.I just wanted to ask you if you really like the course you applied. Well I dn't know your jamb and putme score but I think you will get it. |
Largas:Always welcome bro. ![]() |
Udeme288: Thanks everyone for the help. I've supplemented chemistry. Hope to meet you guys one day. You're welcome. I am most especially grateful and happy that I could be of help. You'll get it. But have you really supplemented or you've just decided, I wanted to show you something? |
Largas: Ortopazz,Hod898,emma30,mcfarlin,herald9,guys, I have problem o. The name on my jamb result and uniuyo post utme result is ogeh chukwuebuka emmanue. But, the name on my neco result and everyother certificate I have is ogeh emmanuel chukwuebuka and that's the right one. Please use the one on your post utme result. To prove that you're the owner, I don't really think you'll need to swear any affidavit because if you have your original WAEC result, you'll see your passport there; if you don't I still don't think that's a serious issue. |

Just checked mine! No_ 10 on admission list. Chemical engineering. Thank you lord! |
Funny@ the treking 4km only not to write the test. My contribution, decide what class you want to graduate with and work towards it. That will give you a focus. Also, always stick around with friends around whom you'll always feel motivated. Furthermore, respect your lecturers, and join a good gathering. Lastly, but not the least, be prayerful. |
elijahdre: Available for sale at affordable pricespls like how much will it cost to send one to me. I am currently in Jos. (Just estimate I'm calculating my different budgets). |

So how did they know that it did not meet the Health Code? If I didn't remember any better, the Lagos state government rejected the drugs without prior testing. But all the same, Nigerians are one stubborn set of people who will withstand almost anything. If not for this nature, I wonder what would have been left of us--there were SARS, Bird flu, Swine flu, Polio, HIV and now Ebola(which we'll definitely contain). We are blessed. |
So any Nigerian who dies abroad is a suspected ebola carrier, mtchew. A Nigerian died in Austria, he became a suspect. One in UK, a suspect. Now another in UAE still a suspect. All because of 12 recorded cases in the country. Na only us carry pass? As if them white dudes can't contract it. |
ekems2020: uniuyo does not publicise its departmental cut off marks. Hence, all questions to this regard remain null and void.Wow! I thought they would release the cutoff marks. This means students will have to wait for admission list. But do you have any idea when that will be released? |
Vessi: congrats. You passed very well. Happy for you'll.Guy I like that your signature. |
It's not necessarily about politics. It's about a slave-master relationship in which the Nigerian government sold Nigerians as slaves to the West, such that they only believe drugs approved by WHO and the likes. Instead of taking time to experiment on nano-silver, a drug known to destroy even the deadliest bacteria, the government rejected it. It rejected it! Even if it was eventually found not to cure the disease, the specialists could still study the way it inhibits viral replication and mutation in body cells and possibly develop something similar that can destroy Ebola virus. See, this is often the result of not investing in research and technology in a country. The government does not encourage our scientific geniuses. Around 2010, a nigerian medical doctor developed a cure for HIV. He was beguiled here and humiliated by our health officials. WHO asked him to state his formula but he insisted saying, "until Coca-cola state theirs, I won't mine". They took him to US for 'investigation' and since then, nobody heard of him again. Similar case occured in 2012, only this time it was Paul Orhii, NAFDAC boss that humiliated with inordinate hysteria a prof.of Igbenedion university. Nigerians are one of the most intelligent people on earth, the only problem is that they are barely encouraged. Every sector in this country called Nigeria needs a revolution. |
What a sorry situation. Is the reason why most Nigerian students who studied abroad fail to come back to 'develop' their country still far-fetched? They prefer to stay where their talents will be appreciated; countries unlike Nigeria, where every body has a right. These students are suffering while our senators, ministers and ambassadors are always getting prompt pay. Sometimes, I wonder who the 'leaders of tomorrow' really are in Nigeria. Look at the old chaps who are supposed to have retired; they are always backbiting each other--PDP did this, APC did that--instead of seeking fast-paced development. Look at the on-going CONFAB, many issues and solutions to sensitive problems in Nigeria have been proferred and passed in the conference but our lazy Assembly members who, although know that the solutions are obviously good ones, will still have to debate them because they want undetered looting, while some of our selected scholars are licking boots to survive in the diaspora. Things have to change o! |
God please rest her soul in peace. |
We are having boko saga, ebola scare, international embarrassment and what not, but these people are busy stealing while many are crying. RIP to the victims. |
Mtchew. SMH. |
There is the possibility... |
Nuvally: U're taking the ish personal...abi u fail Jamb?Nothing personal. Just that many things are not accounted for in this country. I know how students begged for the elusive answers to these near-fetched questions. |
