From all indications, this project is a big project. Seun and his collaborators on Nairaland will make young programmers/developers feel stupid if they feel skeptical about accepting this "competition". Seun probably has already developed this application himself and probably just wants to compare with his. N100,000 is chicken feed for him. The sad thing i've noticed about being a very good programmer is, you'll probably not be so smart in business. My take is, if Seun is sincere about this, there should be a clause that if you win, you'll get a contract job with Seun or his organization for at least N5million for 5 years, that's how talent competitions are done. N100,000 may seem like money to broke guys but its really nothing and can be spent in 2hours. And if there is the argument that it'll add to your CV when there is the claim that its relatively easy, then do something more difficult and add it to your CV. |

Don't worry about my trading habits. No be today, over 5 years trading. Courage under fire is built in my system. Almost all trades come with the tension, it's part of the business. Scaled out with a TOTAL loss of ~ 40pips from both trades. Still able to break even for the week with ~ $300 profit. I hope no one is holding on to trades over the weekend,, that is one habit i have dumped about 3 months ago,,,CRAZY markets. Cheers, see you guys on monday morning. |

Apology accepted and pardon me, i almost forgot the name of the thread cos honestly most of the posts are not trade alerts. From now on i will only post trade alerts. But i doubt if anyone will be able to make use of them cos i don't do intraday trades anymore cos these markets are CRAZY these days. I think the market has changed a lot over the past 1 year, there are so many retail traders out there even during the Asian session the EUR and USD are heavily traded these days unlike before, if you leave the EUR/USD at U.S session close at a price, you are likely to meet it the following morning at almost the same price, but those days are long gone. |

CAN/Oritsejafor is WRONG. He should be asking the government to do 2 things: 1. Cut down the salary(packages) of all public office holders by 80%, then hopefully we will have honest leaders. 2. Create a platform for the SNC to hold as soon as possible. If both do not work, then Nigeria is surely doomed to fail by 2015. |

resourceng:Hi, i exited about an hour ago a BUY of EUR/USD with about 25pips profit which i entered at 11a.m today. My Day Trend Divergence says look out for LONGS, so, i won't be selling the EUR, at least not today. Wishing you luck on your trade. You may be right, if the news at 1.30p.m comes out negative for the U.S then stocks will fall which will most likely push the EURO down but that may be countered by the new found hope for Greece. My 2 cents, but take note, i NEVER trade with fundies (most of which are rumours, only the big boys really know what's going on). |
