I can truly relate. I thought I had a good skin till I started having acne last year. It messed up my confidence big time. At a point I was depressed, I spent lots of money on topical treatments, more than $1000 just to have my perfect face back. I even tried glycolic acid on my face, it worsened the condition. Instead of getting better, I had scars and hyperpigmentation. Then I researched and I read about alpha lopic or glutathione pills (antioxidant pills), that was my saving grace. I didn't want to try accutane because once you stop the medication, acne comes back. My face is all clear now, dark spots have radically disappeared and no more acne. |
