Open the Bracket and collect like terms

THE GIRL'S AGE IS = X
THE MOTHER'S AGE WILL BE = 2X (TWICE THE GIRL'S AGE)
THE FATHER'S AGE WILL THEN BE = (2X) + 5
IF ALL THEIR AGE = 100 THEN

X + 2X + 2X + 5 = 100

5X + 5 = 100

5X = 100 - 5

5X = 95

X = 95/5

X = 19 (THE GIRL'S AGE)

THE MOTHER'S AGE WILL BE 19 * 2 = 38

THE FATHER'S AGE WILL BE 38 + 5 = 43
