HealthRe: I Slept With 180 Prostitutes In 4 Years: Are These Signs & Symptoms Of HIV? by Honestyboy2(m): 5:30pm On Sep 10, 2017
dirtymoney:
While you and the doctors battle with the symptoms, let me battle with the accounting.
180 prostitutes in 4 years.
Assuming each prostitute cost 1,000 that would translate to 180,000.00
That is 35 per year.
Assuming after the first year 35,000 was invested at 5% per month.
5% = per month
= 1,750*12 = 21,000
At the end of second year. Principal + Interest = 35,000 + 21,000 =56,000
Second month savings from Ashawo abstinence 35,000
Add that to the first year principal +Interest. =71,000
At year 3.
71,000 invested at 5% per month would yield 3,550 per month and 41,600 in 12 months.
Add that to the principal and interest of year 2 and the Ashawo abstinence savings of year 3 = 148,000.
At year 4.
148,000 invested at 5% would yield 7,400 per month and 88,800 at the end of the year.
Add that to the principals and interests of preceeding years plus the Ashawo Abstinence savings for year 4 = 88,800 +148,000 + 35,000 = 271,800
All calculations are in Naira.
So in 4 years N271,800 would have been saved.
271,800 can get you a considerably small piece of land where u can start a small business in the village. Eg snail or snake farming.
Anyway.when the results are out on Monday, ensure u give us update. Everyone has a second chance. Ensure you don't abuse it.
Good luck
Wow I'm loving this. Which I can like you. Thumbs up bro

Nairaland General11 Positive Attitudes To Keep You Motivated To Study. by Honestyboy2(op): 4:43pm On Jul 27, 2017
Motivation according to my research, is the activation goal oriented behavior that arouses an individual to take a coordinated set of active step towards a desired goal or objective.

The ability to get motivated to study can have a very positive effect on a student’s study levels and grades. A motivated student will find it easier to go the extra mile and do all the necessary tasks that need to be done to assure success. The right motivation will allow students to study a lot more focused and with more concentration. Motivating yourself to study is especially helpful when you feel a lack of motivation or face procrastination during your studies. The following are 11 positive attitudes to keep you motivated to study.

1) There is always a way. You are stronger than anything standing in your way. Because you have a purpose that cannot be denied.
Often that purpose is difficult and inconvenient to follow. Yet it is never impossible to follow.
There is always a way. If the path you’re on is blocked, look for another route, because it is surely there.

2) You have only one live. This Simply mean You Should Take Your Chance As It comes.

3) learn tools of the trade (study skills) like Active listening, reading comprehension, notetaking, stress management, time management, testing taking, and memorization.

4) Always keep the right attitude. Always choose a positive attitude, When things aren't going your way, keep a positive attitude by visualizing yourself succeeding

5) Never compare yourself to someone else. Comparing yourself to others' accomplishments is a losing battle that will take you down a never-ending spiral. So learn to stop the attitude of comparing yourself with others. You are you.

6) Feel good about yourself. It is important that you feel good about yourself. More and more scientific evidence points towards a significant link between how you feel about yourself and your overall health and sense of well-being. Scientists have proven that feelings of inferiority have the capacity to pave the way to illness or disease. On the other hand, if you feel good about yourself , have a positive outlook, and maintain an active involvement in life, you’re more likely to be happy and healthy.

7) Dismantle obstacles. This can be achieved with constantly playing against any obstacles that may stand your way against your success.

cool Always work hard. Success has always been the result of hardworking, so always work to actualize your setting goals.

9) Continuously challenge yourself. According to Anthony Robinson. What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies ahead of us. So constantly challenge yourself in line with your studies.

10) Always have a sense of urgency. This simple mean, you should fast in getting things done in order to achieve your goals. There is a quote that says. IF YOU DON'T MOVE FAST, YOU GET RUN OVER. so always develop the sense of urgency in your studies.

11) Be focused. The ability to concentrate and use your time well is everything accounting to Robert A

How To become Motivated To Study

i) How bad do you really want to succeed? Answering this question is foundation of all motivation.

ii) You must have a study goal. There is short term goals Eg about an upcoming exam or long term goals for your final examination.

iii) One step at a time, stop bombard your brain with too many things at a time and avoid procrastination because it kills time.

iv) Beat procrastination and distraction, cut off any kind of distraction like TV, Radio, Mobile phone, Internet, gisting that could interrupt you while studying.

I believe if the above are well practice and implementation, the result will be extremely positive. Thanks.

Business7 Important Reasons Why You Should Register Your Business by Honestyboy2(op): 8:30pm On Jul 17, 2017
Before I start giving us some of the important reason for the registration of your business, let me quickly ask you this HONEST question, and I'll love if you can provide an honest answer at end of this article.

Q? Would you trust a total stranger/ghost with your valuable property?

Dealing with a non-registered business is just like dealing with ghost and can be very risky as they can decide to move away without trace.

No sane person will have any business deal with you without properly research about your business to ensure he/she is on a safer side..

When you’re a new business owner, Bloggers are not exempted, every Penny you spend has to provide a return on your investment. One of those expenses is the registration of your company. While it may be one of those expenses that seem largely unnecessary during the beginning stages of your business.

Bellow are the 7 reasons why you should register your business.

1) Protecting your assets
Starting a business may be a dream but losing your personal assets that support you and your family are a reality and that reality could turn in to a nightmare if your business doesn’t work out, you maybe sued , or another unforeseen financial loss. By registering your business, your business assets and liabilities are separated from each other. There are many other reasons to incorporate but for the protection of your family, this may be the most important.

2) Do you sell a product?
So you invented a revolutionary new product and you’re selling your product all over the world to tens of thousands of people. Your business seems to be on its way to greatness but then, something in your product causes injury to some of your customers and as a result, lawsuits and product recalls abound and almost overnight, you’ve maxed out your insurance coverage and lawsuits are threatening to bankrupt your company. This is yet another real world example of why the protection of your business registration is a must.

3) Do you need money?
If you are seeking private equity, you must be registered as a business. Investors want the protection of incorporation as well as a defined exit strategy which is defined in some of your incorporation documents. Venture
capitalists prefer to fund actual corporations since corporations can later become publically traded.

4) Want big name business?
Companies large and small prefer to work with subcontractors because they don’t have to pay employee benefits. What they don’t want to do is have long term contracts with individuals since the line dividing a contractor and an employee is blurred when the
individual isn’t an actual registered company.
Should you be passed over for a contract that could define your first year because you didn’t spend a couple of hundred dollars to register
your business?

5). Bank account – A business must be registered before a corporate bank account can be opened for that business. The advantage of having a corporate bank account is separation of business funds from personal
funds which is fundamental for any business owner that seeks to make progress with the business venture.

6). Financing – Businesses will need financing at different stages of their growth in form of grants, loans, investments etc. Financiers will
always prefer more established and duly registered entities especially for small or start-up businesses. They would want to see some form of structure in place of which registration is crucial foundation.

7) Contract bids – Registration is usually an important eligibility criteria for contract bids in most public and private institutions. There are several other criteria such as up-to-date annual and tax returns but these cannot even be achieved without first having the business registered.

Registering your business is best left to a business registration service who has experience with the required paperwork needed. This will streamline the process and allow your company to be registered as quickly as possible.

It’s an investment that doesn’t appear to have a direct return on investment but much like insurance, it’s necessary for the protection of you, your family, and any partners who may be
associated with your business.

These are the few among the many reasons why you should register your business.

DON’T FORGET TO USE THE COMMENT BOX FOR ANY QUESTION AND PROVIDE AN ANSWER TO THE ABOVE QUESTION. THANKS FOR READING.

Nairaland GeneralNo Self-motivation = No Success – Here’s 10 Reasons Why by Honestyboy2(op): 7:17pm On Jul 16, 2017
A lot of very smart people end up as failures – failures in life, in work, and in relationships.
A lot of smart people are given plenty of opportunities for success and never take advantage of them.
A lot of smart people are born into privilege and yet turn into failures. And
A lot of smart people accumulate degrees and skills and still fail to achieve what we think they would.

And what is the common factor in all of these failures?
It’s lack of self-motivation.
All of the intelligence and all of the
opportunity and all of the book learning is simply for naught if there is no motivation to do anything with them.
Here are 10 reasons why self-motivation is the only path to
success.

What is Self-motivation?
A child may be motivated to pick up his toys if there is a reward for doing so (of if there is a punishment for not doing so). Someone outside of himself has created that motivation.

If there were not an outside motivator, the child would probably not be so quick to pick up those toys. He has no self-motivation.
As we mature, we become self-directed individuals. We muster up the motivation to accomplish things – or not. If we don’t become self-directing, then we don’t meet with success. Here’s why.

1. Without Self-Motivation, Goals are Not Set
Successful people set goals and then go after them. Those goals come from within, based upon that person’s passions. If goals are set
at all, the non-self-motivated person sets only small temporary ones. Such goals may be to get a job that will pay the bills or to save
enough money to take a vacation with a friend. They are small and short-term.

2. Without Self-Motivation, Plans are Not Made
Even if the unmotivated person is able to set a long-term goal, s/he then fails to develop a plan to achieve that goal. The goal just
becomes a dream for “someday.” The self-motivated person develops a very specific plan of action, constantly reviews that plan of
action, makes modifications when necessary, and stays on that path.

3. Without Self-Motivation, There is No Risk-Taking
Successful people do take risks. In fact, they are driven to take risks, because they know they will stagnate otherwise. Unmotivated people find excuses not to take risks, and
those excuses become justification for their stagnation. It’s not the right time; others have tried that and failed; my friends say it’s a stupid idea; my family won’t support me.

4. Without Self-Motivation, There is No Optimism
Optimism is that belief that the future holds promise. It provides energy and enthusiasm. Self-motivated people re optimistic about their
futures. Unmotivated people have fear and insecurity about the future. They are therefore willing to stay in their comfort zones where
they are safe and don’t have to fear an uncertain future.

5. Without Self-Motivation, There is Blaming Others
The self-motivated person knows that he alone is responsible for his successes and failures. When he meets failure, he is able to
reflect on it, identify what he did wrong, and change his behaviors and circumstances so that success is ultimately achieved. The unmotivated person blames others and never has to look within to see what should be changed.

6. Without Self-Motivation, There is No Follow Through
The self-motivated person, once he sets his path toward success, stops talking and starts doing. He is the list-maker who gets up each
day with actions in mind. The unmotivated individual develops his path perhaps, but then spins his wheels talking about what he
intends to do. No action follows all of that talk.

7. Without Self-Motivation, There is No Self-Confidence
Because the self-motivated has taken action and has met with some successes, no matter how small, he has developed the self-confidence to keep moving forward and take
on new and greater challenges. The
unmotivated person has not taken action and, therefore, cannot muster up any self- confidence to take on a challenge.

8. Without Self-Motivation, There is no Passion
Passion comes from a deep desire and a love for what one is undertaking and pursuing. Self-motivated people are able to feel passion and that keeps them going through any rough patches, even big ones. The unmotivated individual shuts down as soon as a rough
patch is hit, because he doesn’t have that inner passion that will push him through it.

9. Without Self-Motivation, There is no Focus Unmotivated people are easily distracted.
They may begin a project and leave it half- finished. They do the same thing in life. They set a goal, being planning and acting, and then get side-tracked by other events and
circumstance. The self-motivated individual never takes his “eye off the ball,” resists distractions, and move forward.

10. Without Self-Motivation, There are Missed Opportunities
Because the self-motivated individual has a passion for what he is doing and the goals he has set, he speaks to them whenever he has the chance, even to strangers. He finds opportunities to connect with other like- minded people; he surrounds himself with other self-motivated individuals. All of this relationship building brings opportunities for partnerships, for funding, for all sorts of support. The unmotivated person doesn’t seek these connections and misses opportunities. Passion, drive, planning, focus, and steady
action – these are the hallmarks of a self-motivated individual. And these are the very things that every successful person will tell us are the keys to success. All of them have their origin and their lives within that larger realm
– self-motivation.

Nairaland GeneralLadies Are Responsible To %90 Of Their Singleness. By Mr Williams by Honestyboy2(op): 9:26pm On Jul 14, 2017
Mr Sule Williams Who hail from Igalamela local government Kogi state and A graduate From the department Of Public administration Federal polytechnic Idah Kogi state, while in the school, he serve as the 01 of the department and presently serving his father's land within the country. Mr Williams despite his tight schedules, out of his magnanimity and the love for humanity and the need to profound solution to the present problem of singleness in the society. He decide to dropped this epic on his Facebook page Titled SINGLENESS, THE WAY FORWARD
Mr Williams believed that ladies are responsible to %90 of their singleness.

His message read.

With deep sense of magnanimity and meddlesomeness i have this to say.
The terms marriage and singleness are more or less antonymous , if my memory can serve me better, marriage by way of definition is a legal union between a man and a woman with a view to becoming husband and wife , while singleness on the contrary is a state of being single.

By way of information, some if not many ladies and guys are single today as a result of one challenge or the other. Let me begin with ladies, it is very unfortunate and apathetic that many of our ladies are single, the said ladies have reached the marriageable age but they are not married, this is an indication that something went wrong on their part, some of them are after already made guys, they are too selective, not prayerful, too desperate , dressed haphazardly, dont know when to marry, don't want to start from the grass to grace.

To add salt to injury, a lady may tell you that she needs a husband who is fair in complexion, tall, fat, keeps beards, financially bouyant, owns a house or houses, has a car, working class, religion inclusive just to mention but a few .hmmmmmmm, if a lady reaches 25 years old and no man proposes to her then something is wrong in the realm of the spirit, but they always tell her that she is good in bed, hmmmmm she needs radical or overhaul deliverance,

As a corollary and panacea to the foregoing, ladies should not be too selective, they should know that at the age of 20 marriage is knocking at their doors, they should forget about the aggradizement or sweetiness in or of life and pray to God in heaven to settle them maritally. Even though a man is incomplete, marry him ,you can build him to your taste. By implication, if a lady is too selective, her time will pass and later on she begins to propose to guys to marry her. What a marathon!

As for guys, don't wait until u have millions b4 u marry, and above all don't be to selective, ceteri paribus.

Mr Williams has done his part, it's now left for those involved to change their mindset on the mention.

Don't just read and leave. Let's hear your view.

Nairaland GeneralWho Actually Owns Success? by Honestyboy2(op): 2:44pm On Jul 10, 2017
According to some mindset. Success is believed to be an inheritance of some selected groups or individuals, whereby if you are not made to be successful no matter how hard you try you can never attain success. Hmmmmm. That's is not how it's. Success is for all.

In this article i stand to tell you that success is for you and i. This article is more like a question which everyone must/should provide an answer based on understanding. Bellow are my thought on Success.

WHO ACTUALLY OWNS SUCCESS
Success belongs to those who wakes up every morning and pursue their dreams regardless of the hardships.

Nairaland GeneralWhy Employee Motivation Is Important To An Organization by Honestyboy2(op): 7:51am On Jul 09, 2017
Motivation is an intrinsic and internal derives within the individuals. It is the process of stimulating people to actions to accomplish the goals. In the work goal context the psychological factors stimulating the people’s behaviour can be -
*Desire for money
*Success
*Recognition
*Job-satisfaction
*Team work, etc

One of the most important functions of management is to create willingness amongst the employees to perform in the best of their abilities. Therefore the role of a leader is to arouse interest in performance of employees in their jobs. The process of motivation consists of three stages:-
1. A felt need or drive
2. A stimulus in which needs have to be aroused
3. When needs are satisfied, the satisfaction or accomplishment of goals.
Therefore, we can say that motivation is a psychological phenomenon which means needs and wants of the individuals have to be tackled by framing an incentive plan.

Employees Motivation
According to wikipedia Employee Motivation is the "psychological forces that determine the direction of a person's behavior in an organization, a person's level of effort and a person's level of persistence.

Motivating your employees is vital to any business. A motivated workforce means a highly productive staff, all of which will help you achieve your business goals. And this should be a main objective in your
organizational and business plan .
Before you build a motivational strategy, the first step you need to take is to understand what motivates your employees. What drives them to their peak performance will better help you develop programs that both motivate and retain the best employees for your business.

While not every employee will be motivated by the same thing, focusing on a list of key motivating programs can help. Your plan can include everything from monetary incentives, rewards and recognitions, building programs that support work-life balance, to simply creating a fun, relaxed office environment. The opportunities are endless and the reward substantial.

Reasons For Employee Motivation

1. Motivation helps change negative attitude to positive attitude:
Without motivation the employees try to perform minimum activities in the organisation. But the motivation fills in the desire to perform to their maximum level. All the resources of the organisation are of no use unless and until the employees use these resources. The motivated employees make best use of the resources.

2. Motivation improves performance level of employees:
The motivation improves the efficiency level of employees which means the employees start performing the job to the best of their ability with minimum wastage of time and resources because motivated employees always go for best utilisation of resources. The motivation bridges the gap between the ability to work and willingness to work and willingness always improves efficiency.

3. Helps in Achieving the Organisational Goal:
The motivated employees always try to achieve the organisational goal and contribute their best efforts for the realisation of organisational goal as they know with the achievement of organisational goal only they can achieve their personal goal. All the employees contribute their efforts in one direction of accomplishment of goal.

4. Motivation creates Supportive Work Environment:
In motivation the relations between superior and subordinates are always improved. When the employees get their need satisfied or get the recognition and respect in the organisation then they always offer a supportive hand to superiors. There is more cooperation and co-ordination in the organisation and all the employees work with the team spirit.

5. Motivation helps the managers to introduce changes:
The motivated employees show less resistance in accepting the changes according to changes in the business environment because they know if the changes are not implemented in the organisation, not only the organisation will lose by this but the employees also will find it difficult to get their needs fulfilled. Motivated employees are always supportive and co-operative in accepting changes in the organisation.

6. Reduction in Employees’ Turnover:
The motivation creates confidence in the employees to get their needs satisfied in the organisation itself. They always select the alternative to remain in the organisation and increase their earning rather than leaving the organisation and increasing their earnings. With motivation the turnovers are less because the satisfied employees never leave the job.

Jobs/Vacancies21 Incredible Phone Interview Questions And Answers by Honestyboy2(op): 5:35pm On Jun 21, 2017
Phone Interview Questions And Answers

Employers usually conduct the phone interviews to shortlist the best candidates from the huge pool of talent, whom they would like to see for a personal interview. Recruitment is a time consuming job and the telephonic interviews provide the recruiters a good opportunity to screen the best candidates.

You might feel that a phone interview is easier to manage which it of course is for the convenience of location it offers to you but don’t be mistaken to take it lightly. All the etiquettes and tips that you have learnt for a personal interview apply as it is to a telephonic interview as well.

To succeed in a phone interview make sure that you take it as seriously as a personal interview. Some things which you should essentially practice to crack that first round of interview and see the interviewer personally are:

1. Avoid distractions
It is important to schedule the interview at a time when there are minimum number of distractions. If you are at work during the time of interview, schedule it during the lunch time or after the work hours.
If you are at home, make sure that you are away from the television and in a separate room where there is no other noise.

2. Facial expressions and body language
It may sound odd but yes, the facial expressions and body language also get conveyed through your words. A gentle smile and a confident body language will definitely help you in coming across as a better candidate.

3. Use a phone with good connection
The phone connection in a telephonic interview is vital. If you are using a cell phone, make sure that the battery is fully charged, the phone is getting full signals and the waiting calls do not keep beeping in the background. A land line is usually free from all the problems. Prefer to use it over a cell phone whenever possible.

4. Listen carefully and speak clearly
Make sure that you listen carefully to the questions. If you think you may have not understood the question clearly, you can word the question in your words and ask it again to be sure. Make sure that you speak clearly, slowly and your voice is loud enough.

5. Don’t rush
Many candidates feel that they need to answer every question very quickly in a phone interview. However, if you take a moment or two to compose your thoughts before you actually start speaking, it is absolutely fine even in a phone interview too.

6. Have a glass of water ready on your desk
Some times the interview might stretch longer and you may feel a need to moisten your throat. So, keep a glass of water ready at your desk.
Now that we have the tips to face the phone interview, let us see some questions that you might be asked during the interview and the ways to deal with them:

1. Please tell me something about yourself.
This question is an ice-breaker and is asked to open up the communication. However, it also offers you the opportunity to prove that you are the best choice for the position under discussion. In your phone interview, answer this question by providing some information about your relevant work experience and any specific qualities you possess or projects you may have done which can add value to the job under discussion. You can also talk about your educational background if it adds some value to the job you are being interviewed for.
It is extremely important to be enthusiastic during a phone interview. The interviewer is not able to see your body language or facial expressions but they can definitely feel the enthusiasm and smile in your voice.

2. Why did you apply for this job?
This question should be answered by relating the requirements of the job with your work experience, personal qualities and education background. Keep the answer focussed on the requirements of the job rather than talking about how the job can help your career grow and earn more.

3. Why do you want to leave your current job?
There can be enormous reasons for you to leave the job but keep the focus of your answer on the potential of the new job to offer you more responsibilities and challenges & hence an opportunity to grow as a professional and improve as a person.

4. Why do you think we should hire you for this position?
A company hires an individual if it believes that he can perform the job under discussion. To perform a job you require a set of technical skills, accompanied by some personal qualities. Some of these skills and qualities get developed as grow and gain some professional experience.
So, focus your answer on the qualities and skills you possess which will help you do the job well.
Relate to the job requirements, as listed in the job notification with your candidature and say that since you meet all these requirements, you think that you should be hired for this position.
Of course the confidence in your voice will get reflected as you speak over the phone.

5. Can you describe your current duties?
Keep a list of your major duties ready as you start sending your job applications. This will also prevent you from applying to a wrong job.
When faced with this question, list out your major duties and also talk about your major achievements pertaining to these duties. The employer is more interested in knowing what did you do with the assigned duties.

6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Through a personal interview, the interviewer tries to find out how ambitious the candidate is. Recruitment is a costly affair, so, he tries to understand if the candidate is over-ambitious to stay with the company for some year or months.
While answering this question, convey that you are ambitious but would not switch the job soon after joining for a couple of thousands. Rather, you would try to grow with the company.
To answer this question, you can say something like – “5 years down the line I see myself in a responsible position where the company treats me as its assets and gives me an opportunity to be a part of important decisions”.

7. Why should we invite you for a personal meeting?
Basically, the telephonic interviews are conducted to save on the time and meet the most relevant candidates.
To answer this question you can say something like “ I believe, I possess the experience and qualities required to do this job very well. I have given you a glimpse of what I have done for my employers in the past and I am sure that you will find it interesting to find out more about how can I add more value to your company. A personal meeting with you will provide us an opportunity to discuss my suitability for this position in more detail. And, I am sure that you will find it interesting.

8. What are your key strengths?
The strengths which will help you perform your job better will the ones most interesting to the interviewer. So, before you take up the call, read the job notification carefully and be ready with some qualities you possess that will help you do the job well.
If you believe that you lack some major quality that is required to do the job well, say that given an opportunity, you can quickly learn it. Back this up with an example from the past where you learnt things quickly and did well in the job. This should of course be said in a confident voice.

9. What are your weaknesses?
Every one in this world has some or the other weakness. So, it is OK for you also to have some.
To answer this question, you can offer a weakness totally unrelated to the job i.e. something that will not have any impact on the way you perform your duties. For e.g. if you don’t know how to cook, it is going to be immaterial to your employer.
You can also take the word “liberally” and offer a weakness like “my child”, “ice creams”, “pizzas”.

10. What experience do you have in “a particular area”?
The interviewer might be asking you this question because that “particular area” might be the “key performance area” for that role.
If you possess experience in the domain/ area the interviewer is talking about, tell him that I possess a good experience in this area and then go on to discuss some important nitty gritties. You may also want to quote some example from past which demonstrates your performance in that field.
For e.g. If the interviewer asks you about your experience in dealing with press, you can refer them to some of the items that you got released to the press and some other online material that supports your answer. Once an interviewer asked me about my experience in writing the press releases and getting them released. The best thing I could think of was to refer them to my online press releases. My work actually spoke for me and they were quite impressed with it.
Remember, while in a telephonic interview, the chances of an interviewer sitting in front of a laptop connected to Internet are higher, so you can use this interview in your favour by providing them an example of your work even when they can’t see your portfolio.

11. Are you open to relocation/ night shifts?
One of the reasons for conducting a telephonic interview is that the interviewer is calling up from some far off place and is looking for a candidate to be placed there.
Similarly, if the interviewer asks about your openness to work in night shifts, they might be considering only the candidates who can work at night.
Be straight forward with your answer in both these cases. If you are sure that you can not relocate or work in night shifts, inform them right away. Wasting their time and informing about your inability to work at the required location or time at a later stage would just irritate them.
However, if you are open to but unsure about relocating or night shifts for this particular job, keep the discussion open and ask them for more job details that you would like to know before considering a relocation/ night shift. Now, request them to provide you some time to discuss this with the family. Also, tell them that you will be back to them with an answer in a day or two.
Make sure that you keep your commitment of informing them on time.

12. Are you open to travelling? How many days in a month will you be able to be out of the city overnight?
Again, travelling might be the key requirement to take up a job which you will get to know through the job notification or during the interview. If you are sure that you can not travel due to some personal reasons, inform the interviewer right away.
However, if you are open to consider travelling depending on the position and chances to grow, tell the interviewer that “I am open to travelling but before making any specific commitments, I would like to know more about the job.”

13. On a scale of 1 -10, how would you rank yourself in “a particular field”?
Again, an interviewer will usually ask this question for a field which is of prime importance to the job.
If you think you flair well in that field, rate yourself and convey it in a confident voice.
You can also take the help of an example from the past where you did really well in that field. This will further justify your answer.

14. What do you know about our company?
It is extremely important to research the company well before you take the interview call. Your answer to this question shows your interest in the job and company.
Your inability to answer this question satisfactorily simply conveys that you are not serious about the position under discussion as you have come unprepared.
Make sure that you have seen the company’s website and have information about the events/ activities if the company has been in news recently.

15. What do you know about this position?
Your answer to this question again demonstrates your preparation for the interview and your seriousness about the position.
Make sure that you have read the job requirements carefully and understood them well. This question also gives you an opportunity to relate your experience and skills to the requirements of the job and show the interviewer that you are the most suitable candidate for the position.

16. Describe a situation in which you led a team.
You can expect this question especially if you are being interviewed for a middle or senior management position. Through this question, the interviewer tries to find out about your ability to take people along with you and get the job done successfully. Your communication skills and ability to build up confidence in people play a major role here.
Take an example from the recent past where you worked in a big team and led the group. Focus your answer on the fact that you were able to achieve the results successfully with every one being ready to co-operate willingly as they believed that it was their project.

17. “What has been your greatest achievement?”
Take an example from the recent past to answer this question. An example from a very long past would mean that you have not achieved anything that big since then.

18.“How much salary do you expect?”
Since this is the first round of interview it might be difficult to specify a salary until and unless you know the job in detail. To answer this question, you may say something like “I would like to find out more about this position through a person meeting with you. I believe it will be better on my part to discuss the salary after knowing all the details of the job.”
However, if you are pressed to spell out a figure, give them a range like 20 K – 25 K rather than mentioning a specific figure.

19. When could you start working here?
An interviewer would usually ask this question when he is somewhat convinced that you are a suitable candidate for the job and wants to check your availability.
So, provide him a time frame keeping your notice period in mind. Don’t get too excited as this is the just the first round of interview.

20. When would you be able to come in for an interview?
Again, the interviewer will usually ask this question when he thinks that you are a suitable candidate and wants to see you for a personal meeting.
Fix up a mutually convenient time. If you are going for the interview in your working hours, make sure that you take a leave from the office. This would further strengthen interviewer’s belief in your integrity.

21. Do you have any questions for us?
This is usually the last question of an interview. Most of the candidates answer this question with a plain “No”. However, “No” as an answer to this question might convey that you are not very interested in this position or company.
Have some intelligent questions ready about the job/ company to ask the interviewer. These can be questions about your growth prospects, work environment etc.

Nairaland GeneralSee Procedure To Create N-power 2017 Account by Honestyboy2(op): 8:45pm On Jun 17, 2017
N-Power registration has some slight adjustments from the first and these include.

1. The second phase registration is more of an interactive interphase. Applicants don’t just upload data and go, the test which erstwhile was written separately at a slated date will be written immediately by applicants to complete their registration.

2. BVN will be auto searched by site before proceeding to the next phase. If BVN exists then one is cleared to proceed. this development is not unconnected with series of problems faced with unmatched, incorrect BVN in the first batch registration.

NOTE: Based on the few points above, I would like to reiterate that prospective applicants should be fully involved and be physically present in the process of registration to proofread their info and write their test.

The issuance of forms in this phase will not be possible for obvious reasons, so I urge all to take this phase serious.

Procedure To Create N-Power 2017 Account, Verify BVN/Upload Data

1. Goto npower.gov.ng, create a username and password and then sign in.

2. Go through the various programmes and choose the one that suites you and then click on apply at the bottom of the page.

3. Take your time and fill the application form and make sure to provide accurate information and documents to support your application.

4. After submitting, you will receive an acknowledgement email letter confirming the receipt of the application.

5. After 48hours you will be notified by email and the registration portal whether you are eligible for the N-Power program, if you are unsuccessful you may apply again in subsequent programs.

6. If you are successful you can proceed to the test page at the MY N-POWER PORTAL, you will be required to write two tests; a general skills test and program specific test.

7. There may be a final interview before acceptance into the N-Power program depending on your program, otherwise you will receive an email confirming your provisional acceptance into the N-Power program.

8. You will have to confirm your acceptance to secure your place.

9. Specific information and program details will now be sent to your email.

10. If at any point you encounter a challenge in filling your form you can send an email to info@npower.gov.ng.

Jobs/Vacancies7 Incredible Reasons Why You Should Present An Eye Catching Cv/resume. by Honestyboy2(op): 9:03am On Jun 17, 2017
Before I start, I want to believe that we all know what CV is all about, but for clarity sake, let me give you a simple meaning of CV.

A CV is biographic representation of your. Name, Sex, Address, phone number, Email address, Educational background, work experience, Research work, Affiliation, Honors and Hubbies. Did you get that?

Now you have gotten a clear picture of what CV is all about. Let us get down to the reasons why you need to present not just CV but an eye catching CV.

You need a good job, don’t you? Then you should be able to present an eye catching CV to your prospective employer or recruiter. I will give some hints on how to do it. But first you need to know the Seven reasons why you must present an eye catching CV. Remember an eye catching CV is a job CV.

1} A recruiter would be dealing with hundreds and sometimes thousands of appreciation per day.

2} He/She will make the decision about short listing you by only reading your CV usually 10-20 second.

3} He/she is initially searching for just a few action key words in your CV. if not seen, that means your goose is cook.

4} He/she is usually immense time pressure and has a tight deadline to meet. Time is never their friend.

5} He/she will happily discard CV that are difficult to read as they tries to meet their ever tight deadline.

6} He/she will not give you a second chance.

7} The recruiting process is very tedious for the recruiter. So if you make life easy for them, they will bring you an inch closer to your dream job.

From the above analysis you can understand that recruiter is a very busy person, under pressure to deliver and consequently would be impatient in dealing with disturbing and annoying CV. This simple mean your CV has to be on point in order to short list you for the test or interview.
Good luck.

Next is Hints for writing an eye catching CV.

Bellow are some hints on how to write an eye catching CV/RESUME.

1) Avoid over crowding, because an over crowded CV/RESUME makes it difficult for the recruiter to scan read. Make good use of space.

2) Do not get your CV/RESUME crumple as this would be a let off to the recruiter.

3) Ensure that your CV/RESUME is clear and devoid of stain.

4) Do not use a very big, tiny or fancy font for your CV/RESUME font size 11-12 is highly recommended. Big font makes your CV/RESUME looks clumsy uninteresting while tiny font on the other hands make it unreadable.

5) Your CV/RESUME must be concise. Only the quality and the qualifications need for the job should be stated.

6) Your CV/RESUME must be consistent, this means the chosen font type must be the small all through. It definitely would be suicidal if different types are used in one CV/RESUME

7) Your CV/RESUME must be whole or complete.

cool Your CV/RESUME must be up to date in terms of current standard layout, font size, paging and so on.

9) You must personalize your CV/RESUME. It could be quite boring for the recruiter to see every CV/RESUME writing the same way. Make your CV/RESUME your own unique, personal and a bit different.

CONCLUSION AND MORE IMPORTANTLY

You have to realize that your CV/RESUME is a statement of who you are and what you are about. And it is a major tool that would ensure the recruiter to convince the recruiter that you are the most qualified for the job. So think and plan carefully to make sure that your skills, experience, education and even hobbies are relevant to the job you're applying for. Let your CV/RESUME do all the talking for you. Through your CV/RESUME you have to create an air of professionalism.

SportsCristiano Ronaldo Under Fire For Tax Fraud Worth Millions Of Pounds by Honestyboy2(op): 10:48pm On Jun 13, 2017
As Cristiano Ronaldo tops Forbes list of highest-paid and richest athlete in the world , the Real Madrid forward has been accused of tax evasion and defrauding Spain’s tax office of €14.7 million in unpaid taxes from 2011 to 2014.

The accusation was leveled by a Spanish state prosecutor in a statement released on Tuesday which said the 32-year old “took advantage of a business structure created in 2010 to hide from fiscal authorities income generated in Spain from image rights.”
It clearly noted that Ronaldo used what it deems a shell company in the Virgin Islands to “create a screen in order to hide his total income from Spain’s Tax Office.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s agency had previously rubbished any suggestion of tax evasion when they said that he was up to date on his taxes and last month, tax officials said he adjusted his tax declarations and paid an extra €6 million in 2014, according to KWESE.
Ronaldo was named FIFA’s best player in the world for the fourth time, secured a contract extension with Real Madrid that will pay him more than $50 million for each of the next four years through his 36th birthday and inked a lifetime deal with Nike worth upward of $1 billion.

According to Forbes, Ronaldo earns $93 million annually ($7.75 million per month). Hence, the footballer said he was not losing sleep over the possibility of being charged for tax evasion.
In his words in an interview with El Chiringuito TV before the Champions League final, Ronaldo expressed optimism that the matter (about the tax evasion) will be resolved in the best possible means.

“I am very relaxed about it — the truth is I’m very, very relaxed. I know that these things can be resolved with the best decisions.

“So I am good. I can say [that] from the depth of my heart,” Ronaldo said looking straight into the camera.
“When you do things well you can go to bed feeling relaxed. And I sleep well always, always. So I am good, and only thinking about the Champions League final.”

But CR7 is not the only one to be hit with a tax evasion case in recent times. The same was the case with Argentina international and Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi who was sentenced to a 21-month jail sentence and 2.09-million-euro fine in 201 for tax fraud.

But Spanish laws waved the prison sentence since it was a first-time offense and non-violent crime. Rather, Messi was ordered to pay a fine of £1.7 million after being found guilty, though this was over a reported £3.19 million hidden away from Spanish tax authorities.
Hopefully, the lawsuit brought against the champion can also be resolved easily without affecting his net worth and world ranking.

BusinessTop Tips To Achieve Success Using Email Marketing by Honestyboy2(op): 1:28pm On Jun 12, 2017
How do you get started in email marketing? Well, reading this article is a great first step! We've filled it with tips, tricks, techniques, secrets and strategies which will arm you with the tools you need to boost your profits and increase the traffic to your online presence in no time flat. You can equally read some helpful tips on Facebook marketing

Every email should contain one clear message. You don't want your consumers to be overwhelmed or bored by the content in your email. Develop one key message and ensure it's short and brief. Your readers will like your brief and to the point newsletter, which isn't burdened by tons of unwanted information.

Use lots of different resources to learn about marketing through emails. You could look for reading material in a library or online. There are a lot of classes that you may be able to enroll in to benefit you.

The easier it is to subscribe to your email newsletter, the more subscribers you will have. If you have a physical store, ask your customers for their email address when they make a purchase. If you sell on a website, ask them for their address when they are ready to check out.

Be predictable in your emails. Send them on a specific schedule. Make sure you send something at least monthly, this will help keep your customers interested. If you can send emails on or two times a week, that is even better. Test out which days give your site the best responses, and then use these days as your normal days to send emails.

Do not use dollar signs in either the subject or the body of your emails, unless you are using just one to denote a specific amount of currency. This will strike many recipients as being spam my behavior, and many spam filters will automatically trash emails that include character strings like "$$$."

Prior to contacting customers through email, be sure to obtain their permission to do so. All unrequested emails are spam, whether or not that was the intention of the sender. You could also violate ISP's policies by sending out a lot of emails to your customers who do not want to receive them.

If you have images or graphics, put them on the left side of the email message. Make sure that your call to action element is always on this side. Research has documented that this location produces almost double the number of clicks to your product, service or website than placing these elements anywhere else does.

Go for professional over slick with your emails. Don't send emails that look like flashy webpages. This comes across as impersonal to the recipient. Also, keep in mind that many email programs will not display HTML images. So, do not focus on images in your emails. Go for concise, professional, and inviting so that everyone can read it.

Use as few graphics as possible in your email marketing materials. Graphics can take a long time to load which may discourage some users from viewing the e-mail. The spam folder is the likely destination for photo laden email.

Make sure you build and follow a strategy. It is crucial to be persistent, while delivering a message your readers will find beneficial. Staying persistent with customers that don't fit in with the products and services provided by your business will simply annoy them and waste your time.

Pay attention to the demographics within your subscriber base. See what content and links intrigued a particular segment of your audience, and then follow up with a new email to that subgroup. The boost in your response rate from peeling away the top layer will really surprise you, but in a delightful way.

Make responding promptly to emails your top priority. If a potential customer reaches out to you through email, you ought to do everything you can to reply to them within one day. Waiting longer may cost you the customer, and they may mention the lack of response to others.

To avoid complications resulting from being identified as a spammer, notify your ISP of your email marketing intentions in advance. If any unhappy reader ever reports you, this will give your ISP the head's up that your marketing efforts are legitimate. Your ISP may also be able to suggest an upgraded account that eases your email marketing operations.

Don't get yourself in trouble by not getting permission. This is spamming and you could be penalized for it as well as having all your mail refused, which could damage your business irrevocably. By getting permission to use email marketing, you will be creating positive relationships with customers who will keep coming back.

Make sure your email marketing stays consistent with your company branding. Use the same color pattern you use regularly, while also including your company logo on each email communication you send out. By making the emails recognizable, you can take advantage of the good reputation you have already worked hard to develop.

Be honest and upfront when your readers subscribe. Let them know how often to expect emails from you, and what type of information will be contained in them. It is important to be truthful here, you don't want your customers to be annoyed if they end up with more emails from you than they expected.

A great tip for following up with prospects is to follow up with some past conversation that has taken place through an email. Include a link on your email that lets them apply right now. The closing postscript can allow them to order with just one click by clicking on the below link.

Use double opt-ins. It is very important that when you build your subscriber list, you create a way for your customers to confirm they want to receive email communications from you. You must make sure your consumers know what they are subscribing too, and if it is alright for you to send them emails.

It's time for you to start your email marketing campaign, so take what you've learned here and get started! Focus on working step by step and day by day to build your business, your income and your reputation. In the end you'll be proud of your hard work when you see the profits rolling in!
