@honsule i already told him to recharge his mtn with N500 and activate for 24hr browsing which he did.he called me and told me that wasn't any firmware available for n73 for now . So i told to take it to nokia care for update. Does any body has an idea how much nokia care centers charge to update firmwares ?

if only the guy is near me.It will take me just 20 minutes to upgrade his N73 to the latest version 4.0839.42.2 i upgraded a guy's N73 some months back

@yinkade first of all u should know that the phone u are talking about is china.so u want to cowpare a phone that has no operating system to a symbian phone.so if i drop original nokia and that china phone,tell us the truth will u take china? The quality of that phone can never be compared to nokia. And remember u can do magic with nokia symbian phones to ordinary phone. @nadel update your n73 over the air OTA. Its more easier that way. your current firmware has OTA feature. So u are lucky but b4 u update remove your memory card and make sure u have a full battery bar

@Ceejay.OTA upgrade,the guy must have a enough credit in his sim o(or subscribe for mtn data),otherwise if the upgrade stopped half way,back to square zero.or Still,he can look for a hot spot near by.sorry i forget that N73 doesn't have WLAN

This issue is simple to solve.There are many Blacklist softwares.Blacklist that specific unknown number and just relax ur head.If any unknown genuine number call u will pick it.i hv one powerful one.i will help u search for it on my pc

cauz glo they strict when it come to authentication

@Philcool I mean my words 100%, For my mtn I have not been able to connect since 4 days now. I dont know what is really happening.Please all Nairalanders should help me out. i am on Nite plan 10pm - 5am and its not connecting at all. I called someguy 2days ago and he said that it was a general problem, But i dunno how long this general problem is going to last.

Anyway all MTN users here should please let me know what is going on and if you are able to browse with your mtn modem and sim.
