Hello ceejay, i have brought nokia N73. What next? Do i need to upgrade  my firmware which is V 4.0727.2.2.1 and how. Finally how do i get the mobile tv application for my phone and not forgetting the all mighty  tv receiver. My email is udeoran@yahoo.com. Thanks

@nadel all u have to do is take ur n73 to nokia office at computer village. They will charge u and update it for u.when u get to computer village,ask any body for nokia care center. after the firmware update,the mobile tv software will automatically be inside.the only thing u need after the update is the tv receiver.contact me after the update

@nadel pls my sincere apology for the mistake.u say ur n73 firmware is v4. go to application -my own folder,u might find the mobile tv software there. If its there,then all u need is the tv receiver which goes for 25k .pls check now and get back to us on nairaland

The tv software i have wont work on n73. It only works on it if u have the latest firmware.after update its automatical preinstalled in the phone

@nadel update ur n73 over the air OTA. Its more easier that way. ur current firmware has OTA feature. So u are lucky but b4 u update remove ur memory card and make sure u have a full battery bar

@Ceejay.OTA upgrade,the guy must have a enough credit in his sim o(or subscribe for mtn data),otherwise if the upgrade stopped half way,back to square zero.or Still,he can look for a hot spot near by.sorry i forget that N73 doesn't have WLAN

@honsule i already told him to recharge his mtn with N500 and activate for 24hr browsing which he did.he called me and told me that wasn't any firmware available for n73 for now . So i told to take it to nokia care for update. Does any body has an idea how much nokia care centers charge to update firmwares ?

The quality of that phone can never be compared to nokia. And remember u can do magic with nokia symbian phones to ordinary phone. if only the guy is near me.It will take me just 20 minutes to upgrade his N73 to the latest version 4.0839.42.2 i upgraded a guy's N73 some months back
