Kay005: Hello guys u need to be careful cos i was in ur shoe last year...jamb cant commence d selling of scratch card now cos they wont want any mix up of jamb with d.e cos u will hav to submit ur d.e print, ond result,school certificate at jamb office after registration i tink 4 further processing. The d.e card was sold last year after jamb exam some weeks after jamb result was released. D registration was on for almost 3months And d card was sold d same price with jamb 4,600 and registration was 700 only in jamb accredited cafe if u ar charged more dan dat u can report d cafe to jamb 4 charging u above d price jamb ask dem to collect. Pls guys dont buy d.e cards 4rm street hawkers go to banks and jamb office.4 any unilorin aspirant u dont nid any transcript just apply and try and score lyk 70% above in deir post ume so dat u wil be giving ur desired course. And u nid prayer and strong connection. Wishing u all d best

sandammy: Some sch give 2 even 3 transcript it is just dat d payment for them will be different. For example, if one transcript is 1500, two may be 2500 for two and 3 may be 3500 for 3. I'm telling u dis bcs dat is how they do it in my sch Ibadan Poly.

princejude: It all depends on the type of microcontroller you wish to start with(such as 8051,PIC or AVR). Where is your location? You may try to contact them for one-on-one practical and intensive training on any of the microcontroller family you want to work with.

I may create a new thread on embedded system design tutorial, but before then, I will like us to vote on the type of microcontroller to use. If you want us to use 8051 reply with "8051", if you want us to use PIC micros reply with "PIC" and if you prefer AVR reply with "AVR".

But some polys can be so wicked as to have you send the transcripts by yourself. Am i correct?

sandammy: The transcript is a comprehensive detail of all your academic performance, stating your grade in each course you registered and passed, starting from your first semester to the last semester you graduated. You must bear it in mind that the school you are applying to will base their own assessment of your academic performance from your previous school on it. The transcript will only be release to the third party only when it is been officially requested for because it is very confidential. Remember that your statement of result will only state the grade with which you graduated. e.g pass, lower, upper or distinction as the case maybe.
Hope this simple analysis is comprehensive.
