Spent close to 4hours on that useless road. Even experienced another 2 hours traffic today although they were fixing some bad portion of the road. Heard Bishop oyedepo is the one fixing the road.

Are you blind or is just the hatred you have for Buhari that's worrying you. If this project is not visible to your eyes then you have a problem.

Buhari has done well in terms of infrastructural development in this country. We need to commend him for this. Hopefully other on going project will be completed before the end of his tenure. I would love to see the Lagos Calabar rail line come to existence too. This will really help the development of Nigeria and the economy.

That is not true... go check out their world class 20th anniversary hospital constructed by akpabio, the stadium he constructed, hotels etc. the present governor is also trying with some other key project,are you aware akwa ibom state now have an airline they're also constructing new international airport terminal, new deep sea port. The governor is also trying in terms of providing jobs by constructing industries in some part of the state, investment in agricultural there are alot more development going on in the state it's not only about roads.

Uduaghan is one of the worst governors in the history of the nation. Everyone was waiting for EFCC to pick him up after his tenure.

He made the smart move of decamping to APC to protect himself at the time, he recently just went back to PDP.

EFCC are very weak they're not independent. They follow orders of whoever is in power. I don't think APC would arrest him now that he is back in PDP. he has underground supporters that will fight for him if he gets arrested and tag his arrest witchunt. no way things will get better if we continue like this.

Uduaghan and Okowa were Commissioners under James Ibori. He was the godfather that annointed them, and obviosly still has a major role in determining how the state is run, so should take part of the blame of the infrastructural decay of the state and corruption.

The past and present leaders of the state needs to be thoroughly investigated and those money they stole recover from them. I don't know why ibori can't be convicted in Nigeria too since he was found guilty of laundering the state money in the UK. man is walking free and he is even been celebrated in the state up till today. we're the architect of our problems.

But in US, every state is alloted certain electoral college votes based on their population.
There are others with more ecletoral college votes than others.
All together they have Total 538 electoral college votes.
From the 538, a candidate must secure 270 to be elected as the POTUS/ President of United States
You can have popular votes in Us but still fail to meet the electoral college votes, just like in 2016. Hilary has more votes in US over 2m than Trump yet she didn't meet the college votes.
In other to meet the electoral college votes, you have to win those state, they do refer to them as swing states, Florida, Pennsylvania,Texas, Ohio and others.
How the electoral college votes works.
For Example, Florida is alloted with 29 electoral college votes.
And when the total Votes in Florida is announced
GOP/ Republican has 200,000 votes while Democratic has 300,000. The implication is that the total Electoral college votes of 29 in Florida goes to Democratic.
Their electoral college votes are not the same in every state, hence, the need to win those states with higher electoral college votes.

I feel sad when I see thread like this about my state. it's so embarrassing that places like warri, sapele,ughelli, asaba and some other top places in Delta can't even rival some cities in Nigeria the level of corruption in that state is mind blowing and no one cares about it. PDP government has destroyed that state same way they destroyed Nigeria for 16 years. I am not saying APC would have done better if they're in power though. The most annoying thing about people in Delta is defending that useless thief called James ibori. saying he still remains the best governor of the state despite the money he stole. had he been there was massive development in the state during his time as a governor his successors would have done better to surpass his achievements. Ibori killed Delta state and the people themselves. no one should come here and defend corruption because I noticed that is what most of the people here are good at.

I guess Ogun state govt have authority over the road since it's an APC state BTW according to the church they are making zero or less profit from covenant university. if we're to judge the church by the revenue they get from CU they can't afford to construct the road and I don't think CU is in same category as the church. winners chapel is a non profit making organization.

yes winners have the financial strength but unfortunately they are not a profit making organization hence they don't fall into this scheme. it is true that Ogun state govt have frustrated their plans alot of time when they wanted to construct the road, they demanded they pay money to them before they can allow winners to construct the road.

seriously there is little or no govt presence along ota axis,I don't know of other areas in the state. the governor so far has failed in his obligations in delivering good governance to the people of the state. funny thing is people will still vote for him if he decides to run for another term.

there are alot of factories along Sango atan road also. they should submit there proposal to govt to begin the construction of the road if they have the financial strength.

This project directly or indirectly has provided jobs for Nigerians and would also ease the movement of goods in the country plus other value it will add to the country economy.
