Russia has no reason what so ever to help those boys scout in having direct confrontation with Nigeria..... Nigeria isn't a direct adversary and Russia knows the importance of Nigeria in the west African sub region, Nigeria isn't even directly in conflict it antagonistic of Russia,both countries have very good and beneficial relationships and Nigeria joining brics is a huge factor in that regard...... Nigeria has a far bigger worth in international politics than Burkina Faso or any if those sahel states.
