chidiokay:

what you are proposing how is it different from what the Govt have tried esp. under Buhari
What was Buhari intention to shut down borders and place ban on most imported food items If not to promote Local production ... 8yrs down the line any progress
The big Farms we have, prefer to export than even sell here locally ... it is complicated than theories & what should be

With the alarming rate of Inflation, the best approach is govt should open land borders and lift ban on grains on a short term until govt find a lasting solution to farmers insecurity

Land borders will ease the pressure on dollar demand/importation
Land borders importation will checkmate hoarding and market forces cabal operation
Land borders will reduce South dependants on North, as competition will crash prices

Removing tax/duties on importation will bring some relieve no doubts .. e go even reduce smuggling

Even an Agric power like China and USA are importing foods. They also export. There is no harm in importing foods so far you can export your own.

Nigerian farmers are producing but exporting it, so citizens are left stranded.

They dare not do it. It’s chess game tinubu admin is playing against his northern enemies elrufai and co.

Tinubu knows Norther farmers and Dangote will loose heavily if borders are open to food.

He is also using the release of Nandi Kanu to threatening the north. Elrufai will have no option but to cooperate with tinubu else Nnamdi Kanu will be resealed.

Nigerians don’t even know what is going on. It’s just chess game. They can’t lift tariffs on food. Tinubu dare not do it

Israel are no match with Hezbollah, they know this, the west knows this that's why they're scared shit in their pants that they don't want a full blown war with Hezbollah because they know the magnitude of damages they can inflict on Israel. The only leverage Israel has is the backing of the US nothing more even Nethanyu is threading carefully with them.

israel that is planning to go in their and being prevented by USA funders not to.

So hizbollah are now more powerful than the USA... YOU don't know that any missile fired bi israel comes from USA?

Please read about Hezbollah, they're not like Hamas. They are one of the most advanced and organized group in the world with massive stockpile of ammunition, drones, rockets, tanks and manpower. Just recently they infiltrated Israel undetected with their surveillance drones. The drone recorded footages of Israel sensitive sites which was later released on the internet. If there's a full blown war both sides would suffer casualties but Israel would be at the receiving end.

yet, israel has deleted many of their generals and 400 foot soldiers ...not even in open war...

the media tried to hype them so israel will not enter lebanon... israel is also afraid of their large christian population.

The will never be an era like the 90's and early 2000's in R&B and music in general. Back to back hits were the norm with strategic rhymes and beats to match..It was a magical moment in Western urban music..

In addition to your list,

Craig David's album Born to do it, spunning tracks like I am walking away,Seven Days, Fill Me in was a hit of it's own class amongst Africans

50 Cent, In Da Club took Hip hop to a different level

Beyonce after a successful pompous carrier as the head of the Destiny's Child paired up with Jay Z to bring to air Bonny and Clyde and a host of other hits

Shaggy's wasn't me brought other Jamaicans that forever defined dancehall with greats like Kevin Little, Wayne Wonder, Rupee, and Sean Paul etc..

Rihanna's master stroke Umbrella ft Jay Z, brought another star to behold..

R.Kelly after a successful 90's carried the momentum to the 2000's with his critical acclaim TP2.com album of salacious hits. Fiesta Remix was the bomb. Ignition, Chocolate factory, Trapped in the closet, You saved me, Happy People..

If you grew up as an African teenager and didn't know Joe Thomas then you weren't on planet earth

Akon brought his own style in the mid half of the 2000's featuring with almost every A list artist

Sisqo after a successful career with the group Dru Hill unleashed the dragon in 2000 with a tinted hair and style to match

Timbaland, Timberlake, Missy Elliot, Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, Black Eyed Peas...It's a never ending list of good music..We should talk about the 90's sometime so greats like Keith Sweat can be celebrated too..

genZ wont understand a single line in your writeup.

I still feel music has left the planet...thank God for Afro-hiphop thats bringing the vibe in a little way they can, american music is dead..thanks to their woke, dreadlock gang crying on microphone in the name of singing...

once they lace their teeth with metals and dreadlock hair, they feel they know how to sing..

and you must now look ugly so people can believe you know how to sing a.k.a seyi vibez...

As for me, I stick to my old school songs, if u come visit me or you attend my party, thats what i play..if u don't like get out...

my car is loaded with rkelly, Joe, Puff daddy and mase...

No.

Israel attention was on Gaza.

Now that it’s shifting to Lebanon, more defense resources will concentrate on Lebanon.

Israel was managing hizbollah assault..trying to make sure it does not escalate till they are done with Hamas.

You won’t see those toys again, once Israel direct their attention to beruit..

Yes Israel has killed more than 4 of their commanders inside beruits in 4 months.

You don’t even believe what you are saying.

Lebanon is more infiltrated by mossad than Gaza. That’s why israeli strike has been more accurate than ever.

Israeli strategists have prepared for Lebanon since day 1 of Gaza war.

They knew the war will enter Lebanon.

Business / Where Can I Get Real Credit Card In Nigeria? by hotwax: 7:44am On Jun 28
Hello Business Professionals,

I have been trying to pay for a cloud service for the past few days using various cards linked to my Domiciliary account, but all attempts have failed.

I tried the following cards:

Visa Gold issued by FirstBank (Domiciliary account)
Chipper app Visa card
Eversend
Grey
None of them worked.

I have been transferring my cash from one card app to another, the conversion charges is killing me.

I submitted a complaint ticket on their platform yesterday, and they responded with the following statement:

"In regards to the concern, we don't currently support the use of prepaid cards for card holds. You may want to consider using an alternative payment method in the meantime. Additionally, we only accept credit cards as a mode of payment at this time."

This means I now need to find a credit card. Can anyone suggest reliable credit card providers in Nigeria?

Thank you for your assistance.

Mod, help my escalate this.

Israel would dare not strike Lebanon if us ain't supporting them.
theyve striked them consistently and multiple times in the past the us didn't warn Israel that they'll fight back.
if Israel has the strength, they'll kill everyone in the middle east and take control of the territory.
but then there's Iran they wouldn't want to mess with.
they calmed their fire down on Lebanon the moment Hezbollah missiles destroyed their air defense and blow some open forest.
they know they can be roasted the way they roasted gazans so they won't dare.

It's 24 fighter jets brother..

Plus those 'ragtag' guys are more organized and plentiful than you think. They are literally tens of thousands of them in total.

You guys don't seem to realise there is a low scale war in the north between the military and those insurgents. Bombs are dropped almost daily by the airforce in their forest hideouts and it's not even reported, so you think nothing is happening.

So you want to use war planes on your own territory…to fight guerella group who don’t have a base. Who are visibly welcomed by their host community living with them.

Book haram and bandits are operating openly with the support of politicians and the military.
