This was the content of my post that made nairaland Mods block my account from creating post for two weeks. I think its not fair, am just trying to share with others something I think is beneficial. and most of my posts are informative. I can't even see the post in my profile anymore. Just because of this: If you have few minutes to stay online, you can complete some task online and get paid at http://dollarcell.com/?ref=66659 I just earned. Please share, someone may need this. ''The electronics manufacturer announced that it sold 50 million phones in 2015, which makes it the world's 8th largest maker of mobile phones.'' Just as the year 2015 was a milestone year for Huawei, who with the help of Google infiltrated the US with the Nexus 6P , it was also a big year for another Chinese smartphone maker. Oppo on Thursday announced it sold 50 million phones in year 2015, which represents a 67 percent year-on-year growth for the Dongguan-based company. It also makes Oppo the 8th largest mobile phone maker in the world, according to research firm Gartner , who also revealed that 6 of the top 10 global smartphone brands are Chinese. The company is best known for its midrange devices like the R7 and for more eclectic phones like the selfie-focused N1 , touted as the first smartphone to have a rotating camera. Oppo has been very aggressive in courting markets outside China in the last year, with managing director Sean Deng saying the company has "been making headway in the Southeast Asia region especially." Oppo's rise in popularity is one of 2015's many notable happenings in China's smartphone market. Last year, Xiaomi's momentum stunted somewhat when, after selling 70 million phones, it failed to reach two of its sales goals, Huawei boosted its international brand awareness with the aforementioned Nexus 6P and Lenovo fully incorporated Motorola into its business, killing a decades old brand in the process. Abolore Adegbola Adigun, popularly known as 9ice, has released a statement saying his former wife Toni Payne never cheated on him. Read statement: It has come to my attention that yesterday some people were up to some mischief harassing Toni Payne regarding an evil rumor that was spread years ago. I would like to use this opportunity to state categorically that the song Once Bitten Twice shy was not and can never be about Toni Payne. I have NEVER accused her or told anybody that she cheated on me because she DID NOT. It did not happen and it was never an issue. Let me be very clear. Toni Payne NEVER cheated on me. Some marriages do not work for different reasons. Unfortunately I released my album at a very delicate time in our relationship and a song from the album was taken the wrong way and things were blown out of proportion due to my silence. I have apologized to her in person and she has accepted my apology. I have moved on to a fresh start and she has moved on too. I would appreciate if the general public do the same. I would appreciate if people refrain from insulting her for something she is not guilty of. Once again, the song Once Bitten Twice Shy was NEVER about TONI PAYNE. It was just a song. I wish I had come out sooner but I cannot change the past, I can only try and make amends for the future. It is a new dawn for us all and I hope this closes the topic permanently. If it does not, maybe it is best I release a song clarifying this issue for the 100th time because what started all this was a song and all my effort to clear that air via interviews have been futile. I assure you, I will stop at nothing to make sure this evil rumor is put to sleep once and for all. Again It was never my intention to cause her pain. My apologies to everyone who was affected. God Bless! Source: http://www.morelight.ml/2016/01/9ice-apologises-says-toni-never-cheated.html?m=1

• Says industry employs more Nigerians than oil & gas • Discloses $15b investment plan by Chinese investors THE Minister of Communications has disclosed that the Federal Government is planning to create two million jobs through the Information and Communications Technology sector. Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, who made this known at the weekend during the maiden Nigeria Communications retreat organised by the Federal Ministry of Communications at the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, Oyo State said that the ICT industry would attracts investors from developed countries like China that would invest about $15 billion in the sector. He said: “Information and Communication Technology today creates more jobs than oil and gas and that can further be enjoyed, as investors from China would be investing $15 billion in the ICT sector in Nigeria. So, potential two million jobs will be made available through investments in the sector. “The time has now come to fully embrace ICT to enhance our lives, transparency and good governance if we are to really fulfill the “change” mantra that Nigerians voted President Muhammadu Buhari to bring about.” The minister said that 550 post offices in different local councils of the country would soon start engaging in financial services like Internet services and call services apart from the traditional letter posting. On the administration’s roadmap for the sector, the minister said that the Federal Government is poised to reduce both the public and private infrastructure deficit in the country’s ICT sector for substantial improvements in quality of service, stressing that inadequate infrastructure is the bane of ICT development in the country and a leading cause of quality of service deficiencies. Shiitu, who also disclosed that the Federal Government would invest in a second back-up satellite for NIGCOMSAT and would also encourage foreign investors in the sector, said: “We will also explore the investment in a second back up satellite for NIGCOMSAT and actively engage other global infrastructure providers to invest in the sector. Meanwhile, Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi in his welcome address tasked stakeholders in the sector to exploit new ways that will take Nigeria out of the doldrums to boost its economy. The governor said the ICT is useful in virtually all aspects of human life, especially now that crude oil price is experiencing a free fall in the international market, thus impacting negatively on the nation’s economy. Ajimobi, who quoted the National Bureau of Statistics, said that ICT was a major contributor to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) with 8.68 perpercent Source: http://www.morelight.ml/2016/01/govt-plans-two-million-jobs-through-ict.html?m=1 |

The reservoir, or host, of Lassa virus is a rodent known as the "multimammate rat" of the genus Mastomys. It is not certain which species of Mastomys are associated with Lassa; however, at least two species carry the virus in Sierra Leone. Mastomys rodents breed very frequently, produce large numbers of offspring, and are numerous in the savannas and forests of West, Central, and East Africa. In addition, Mastomys generally readily colonize human homes. All these factors together contribute to the relatively efficient spread of Lassa virus from infected rodents to humans. 10 Ways to Keep Rodents Out of Your Home: 1. Keep food sealed in metal or class containers. This goes for both food in your kitchen as well as food kept in the garage or a storage area. These same rules apply to bird food and pet food. 2. Cover your trash well, and dispose of it quickly if you live in an area where you take the trash to a larger compactor. Garbage will naturally attract rodents. 3. Remove food waste from sinks or counters as soon as possible. 4. Throw away extra cardboard. This is another item that rodents like, and they’ll sometimes use it in their nests. 5. In your garage, regularly check and replace as necessary the rubber seal at the bottom of the door. This could be an easy entryway for rodents. Also, inspect and caulk the door frame for cracks or holes. Read more: http://www.morelight.ml/2016/01/10-ways-to-keep-rodents-out-of-your.html?m=1 |
