From your google business account itself you can send 2000, using a CRM like vtiger on your server you can send several depending on your server'limitation. Advantage is that, you stand a higher chance of getting your email straight into folk's inbox. You can buy a good ssl certificate for your server as well to autheticate it. This is useful for most e-commerce sites with promotional offers and marketing campaigns.

With mailchimp however, you can send 50,000 emails per day!!!

Register on google business. Register you domain, get a business email linked to your domain. Change ur mail setting on ur server to the google config you have, send unlimited emails.
