Ever found yourself struggling to solve an automation problem within your organisation and you’re struggling like a fool?

This was my story over the last few months trying to do a complex, multi-app, multi framework design system migration across Figma, storybook and lots of several legacy documents within the org that contains research and policy guidance.

This struggle took me several weeks and was at the verge of breaking me when I suddenly thought could I be the only human being alive going through this challenge?


Alas, I got the idea of going to GitHub and look out for similar automation projects. This took me testing about 5 tools and getting GitHub copilot to walk me through the strength and weaknesses of those solutions till we came up with a custom tool which I also bundled up in to an open source project to help others. Yes, it worked like charm.

Why did I write this long epistle?

The reason why you are struggling was someone else’s struggle possibly for years in one open source project that needs you to either fork their work and contribute a PR back to them or just a tool you can enhance and ship out for others to leverage.

Don’t go through life thinking your problem is novel, someone else has thought about it, they may not have the will to pull through, AI is here, now you can pull through.

There has been a surge in number of everyday people who beg for money to meet their daily needs. This pattern has increased to points where perceived comfortable and modest folks are also raising funds just to get by daily.
There may be a surge in petty and major crimes as a result of this harsh economic reality that people are waking up to.
Salaries seems to be stagnant in the face of doubled expense.
Just a thought around this and I feel the country should brace up for the impact of rising cost.

Whoever came up with this idea is dumb. Entrepreneurs are totally excluded from this loan scheme that can only be of benefit to some startups that would be needing to put their business online or at the least, help them with the finance and let the benefactor decide what to do with the cash equivalent.
