Having a platonic relationship with an opposite sex has been a daunting topic, most think this is unattainable.
There is a stereotypic belief that either or both parties would likely start growing intentional or non-intentional feelings due to the 'closeness' between or among the (if more than two parties are involved) thereby jeopardizing the platonic relationship.
Before a platonic relationship can be in place certain measures had to be taken. These includes.

1. Clarity: Clarity is one major factor to be considered if you want to have a platonic relationship with the opposite sex. Make it known what you both want and set clear boundaries. Make it know you care about him 'as a friend'. This helps thrash out any 'fuzzy' feelings he had been nuturing for you.
As a guy let her know your kindly gestures are for no other reasons but because you care about her as a true friend should.
Mind you , don't clarify things with words of your mouth and your actions says otherwise.
2. Reduce Physical Contact to the Barest Minimum: Touching/handling the opposite's sex erogenous part, sleepovers, exteremly tight hugs and others physical contact that could spark the light of misconception which could sabotage the platonic relationship should be avoided like a plague.
3. Let Them Get Along With Your Partner: Make your opposite sex 'bestie' to get along with your partner. This helps you, your partner, your bestie, your relationship and friendship.
Confused? Let me break it down. Your opposite sex friend not getting along with your partner could make the latter feel jealous, uneasy, out of place. The partner might also see your bestie in the light of a rival and distrust could set in. Therefore make sure they get along. Also making them get along could force your bestie to thrash any feeling he/she had developed for you.
4. Avoid Having Erotic Convos: Erotic conversation should be avoided especially when you're both alone. This could spark up romantic thoughts and advances. Also avoid silly 'dares' that has romance boldly spelt in it.



Note: if both of you had step out of the line once maybe by accident. It's important you both talk about it and see to it not happening again. However if it persist, it either you pull down the friendship or start something more if you both feel the same way and none of you is 'taken'.

Up to you, do you think one being 'just friend' with the opposite sex is possible, if 'NO' give your reasons/experiences.

Iphones are overated, more than half of iphone users in Nigeria only purchase the device cos it has become something like a trend, something everyone want to have. Most can't utilize their device to the fullest- especiall ladies.
