like i said your not in touch with reality , igbos do not come to yorbaland more than yorubas come to igboland , population by states do not show any such thing so stop being delusional, the ones that go to lagos make up for the yorubas that go to portharcourt, secondly the diffrence between igbo migrants and yoruba migrants is that igbo migrants are from already established families so they easil  get jobs or start buisness wherever they are but yoruba migrants are just poor with nothing to offer to their host community except parasitism . when nigeria disintegrates you either pay for every drop of oil that gets to lagos from those pipelines  or we shut them down simple. make i catch you for lagos street dey beg for oil handout again.

its really going to get nasty but am sure they will be released cus this is obviously a plot to drag massob into the whole mess or to create a distraction. there were n protest in the east so we cant claim those soldiers were trying to stop protest like in lagos.

PoliticsMassob Gives Army 48 Hours To Releas Its Members Or: by htajz(op): 2:35am On Jan 24, 2012
AWKA-THE Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday gave the Nigerian Army 48 hours to release its members arrested and detained in Onitsha since last Sunday, saying its non-violent posture should not be mistaken for weakness.

Addressing newsmen in Onitsha, MASSOB Director of Information, Mr. Uchenna Madu, also demanded release of corpses of the organisation’s members allegedly killed same day for proper burial.

Madu, who spoke on behalf of MASSOB leader, Chief Ralph Uwazurike, said the Army was provoking MASSOB by what he called the unwarranted killing and detention of its members.

He said: “The Army in Onitsha is mistaking our non-violent posture for cowardice and weakness, when the same Army has left the Boko Haram to continue wasting lives of innocent citizens of the country with bombs in the North. If this ultimatum is not heeded, the Army and the Federal Government will see the violent side of MASSOB.

“The current security challenges the country is grappling with as a result of the activities of Boko Haram Islamic will be a child’s play if at the expiration of our ultimatum, our members held in different military facilities in the South-East and police cells are still being held by the Army.

“With the kind of treatment MASSOB members are getting from the Army in the South East, we are beginning to believe that the soldiers are out to deal with MASSOB members. We have endured the killing of Ndigbo in the North without reprisal, but we are being pushed to the wall by the Army in our own land.”

Madu said Uwazurike was visibly angry when he learnt of the development in Onitsha, adding that it was unfortunate that the people should be arrested or killed where they were holding a meeting.

It was gathered that the MASSOB members were arrested in different locations in Onitsha where they were making arrangements for the burial of late Ikemba Nnewi, Chief Odimegwu Ojukwu.

i said it earlier in dec that civil war have already started and people ignored me, i hate to say this but igbo people need to grow some balls am begining to think that all those stories about their escapades and strenght are just fairy tales , to much cry cry ,its time for massob to arm up if not for anything at least to start fighting iinternal war first against all sabos whithin cus when everywhere finally blows up such people wil be harder to deal with than outside enemies this also goes to every other group dont be caught with your pants down.

Can anyone enlighten me on the current status of Opobo in relation to their Igboness. I do not mean old history of Jaja; I know all that. How do they view us today? Have they been corrupted by their neighbors or the divisive Nigerian state into having a second thought about their Igboness? To the best of my knowledge, I have met only one Opobo person and he spoke perfect Igbo and told me he was Igbo. He is late now, otherwise I would have asked this of him.
opobo island itself belong to the anang/ibibio was called ikot abasi till jaja moved into it with other houses that left bonny though we dont know th ethnic composition of other houses that followed jaja out of bonny to opobo we do know that they are now of mixed heritage of igbo, ijaw and anang/ibibio groups jst as we have such admixures in some areas in rivers state that is more of the reason the old east should stick together, anybody can be whatever they want to be as long as we will all have peace and rest of mind , those mixed places will also get to choose by them selves who to identify with so i guess its left for jaja of opobo to do that. some opobo people say they are igbo while some say they are ijaw while the ibibio people say it is their land  huh huh

Nobody have discussed the main issue which is the bane of Nigerian region -resource control, and its still the only thing that bring down any country formed out of the old eastern region.

Because the man from Rivers or Bayelsa may not want the repetition of what is happening in the present Nigeria as regards their resources to continued in the new found re-union.
exactly thats why i suggest every etnic groupwill have 100 percent control of its resources without anyform if interferance and i beleive all the ethnic groups in south eastern nigeria have oil so that should not be a problem , the only advantage of the merger should be to give the nation colour and diversity and also more breathing space as i dont imagine ogonis stuck in only ogoni land and maybe combine military strenght thats all
PoliticsRe: Proposal For A Country Out Of Eastern Nigeria. by htajz: 9:26pm On Jan 23, 2012
eastern nigeria will of course work and its probably  better, every ethnicity will govern itself, we can merge our economies, since we have no history of fighting among ourselves i dont see why people are even bringing it up , every body wants freedom especially the ogonis who have the smallest population. it will be lke a united nations sharing pherhaps military and merging their economies , when the time comes ijaws will either have an only ijaw nation or a combined eastern nigerian nation(though it may not be named biafra), southern nigeria will not work ,let yorubas merge with thier itshekiri and edo brothers.

pls negro nuts and general this is not the time for stupidity and mischief.

as for general its obvious your not from niger delta cause you dont even understand the ethnice make up of niger delta, i have been watching you post retarded statements , who ever told you ijaws are at war with any eastern group? all the people we have ever had problem with are in the west of naija thats why i suggested they join thier yoruba brothers lets live with people that have not been giving us headache.

I always knew it like beaf keeps saying it ,this is not about subsidy but about hatred for the niger deltans and eastern nigeria and that's why this protest will fail, a lot of men wanted to shut down oil installations in niger delta till they were educated on what is really happening, tribalistic bunch , thank God my people didn't fall for the scam, ph ,yenogoa and other eatern states are bubbling right now, lagos can remain dead forever who cares

who is you igbos ? you think am a confused goatie like you?ijaws were divided like many other southern groups , adaka boro had his own plans only God know what he was promised, some believed the northern dominated nigeria was more evil while other were told  that ojukwu was out to dominate them and take their land(which sounds ridiculous) . i cant say which side had more ijaws but we have all learn our lesson cause whatever adka boro fough for he did not live to see it niether are the ijaws seeing it.

Remii:
Why do you have to call a whole tribe coward, Yoruba showed enough bravery in the Nigeria amry. 3rd marine commando that captues most of the southern biafra including port Harcourt was commanded by Youribas, Adekunle, Obasanjo and Alani Akinrinde in that other. Even during the war, the navy and the air forces were led by Adewale Wey and Shittu Alao respectively.

Are you calling the likes of Isola Williams, Idiagbon, Olutoye, Ademulegun, Adekunle Fajuyi cowards?

Awolowo was in prison more than 2 years before the 1966 coup. How do you think the coupists had discussion with him or his consent to plan a coup? Do you believe that prisoners have such privilege, even as political prisoner? Have ever heard of any army risking his own life for someone else?
So if a people consider all odds before taking strategic decisions, they are equal to cowards?

Even within Biafra, they had problems, Ken saro Wiwa and Adaka Boro were not fighting for Biafra. Ifeajuna did not fight for Biafra, Kaduna Nzeogwu did not fight for Biafra.
which yoruba bravery , if not adaka boro and the ijaws on the nigerian side ,nigeria would have lost rivers and bayelsa so pls stop claiming what did not exist, but i dont blame you i blame adaka boro and what did he get after all that assasination from the same nigerian army and now claiming his achievements.

the statement that midwesterners and yorubas joined the nigerian army after banjp invaded the west is a BLATANT LIE.
before that invasion, adekunle and his yoruba 3MC were already marauding in ph, calabar, obigbo, etc, etc.

on a journey about 1999. before OBj solved fuel crisis or perhaps this haapened abacha regina, i ran out of fuel on the asaba-ughelli highway and went into an isoko town looking for the liquid gold.
we got some from an isoko man, a former lt in the biafran army he said.

we thanked him for his services.

PoliticsRe: Why Did Adekunle Make This Statement by htajz: 8:29pm On Nov 29, 2011
i think one of the blunder ojukwu made was allowing banjo waste biafran soldiers in his southwest expedition , anyway those soldiers were from midwest so its normal for them to also want to pull out their region from nigeria, but banjo should have made sure other yorubas like obasanjo supported his mission to lagos. either way you look at it biafrans soldiers were not really prepared for that.

as for adekunle i cant really guess why he would make a statement like that maybe he was just trying to look tough or something.

i dont even think this is about the war itself but about how some people are justifying and supporting whatever the nigerian side did to the biafran side and we expect a united south and some people even calling for occupy nigeria? its just funny , i have always maintained igbos and yorubas can never be in on country if this nigeria splits.

LFJ:
I think the reason while we are still here; arguing over dead issue is because we have failed in our responsibilities to face each other and tell ourselves the bitter truth. I do not think Awolowo or Gowon own Ibo people an apology for what happened during Biafra. The meaning of war is known even to dead mind. What do you expect from your opponent during the war? To continue to feed you, this is strange to a reasonable mind.
People are still entertaining this type of reasoning today, not because it makes sense but just for peace to reign. Let put the past behind us and think of how to make the future better.
i dont think there was every a time biafrans expected or asked food from nigeria. am not sure where you got that from. or how awolowo came up with that cause its laughable. pls lets all assume that interview is fake cause its filled with soo much lies even though he admitted the 20 pounds policy
PoliticsRe: Exclusive - Chief Obafemi Awolowo On Biafra (in His Own Words) by htajz: 6:01pm On Nov 28, 2011
reading through all these comments coming from yoruba people i feel shivers running down my spine, yes not every thing the igbos are accusing awolowo may be true but nobody can ever forget why the  war started in the first place,

we all know food sent to biafra through nigeria was poisoned cause river people rejected eating anything that came through  nigeria.

we all know egyptian planes were bombing farms, churches and feeding centres all accross then biafra.i feel the hatred for awolowo and yorubas came not from betrayal but from how extreme they were in their support of the north agains the east and  also the 20 pounds saga, also it seems the yorubas fought the war as if they had issues to grind with igbos, if you read aduekunle role in the  war and his comments you will be so ashamed to call yourself a nigerian.

all ethnic groups participated in the war but if you notice all of them appologised and admitted their mistakes from ogoni, ijaws, hausa, tiv edos etc but there seem to be this self denial by yorubas about the whole thing, hell even some like dayokanu, bluetooth etc are mocking the dead biafrans and praising adekunle, wonders shall never end, the earlier we all go our seperate ways the better for them. the funny thing while some people are trying to justify what the nigerian side did the same thing that lead to the war are still happening today, some people are calling for revolution and occupy nigeria and at the same time painting people that tried it before as bad and must be killed. nawa

katsumoto you should not have engaged yourself in such threads it always better for such trheads to die after one or 2 posts now you have shown your true colour of how evil you can be trying as much as possible to deny evil while ekoile and the rest are trying to prove that yes evil is good .
