coolHi guys and ladies,
Are you a Nigerian with the following attributes:
-Enjoys playing FIFA16 (PS4) during their spare time
-Excellent internet connection
-WhatsApp (who doesn't? grin)
-Good sense of humour and don't mind a bit of friendly banter

Please send your CV intro yourself by preferably bragging about how good you are (e.g. used your GK to dribble everyone, did a 1-2 with the ref, scored directly from a corner kick, won seasons Div 10 - Div 1 unbeaten with Derby County, used PS pad to win Xbox tournament during your Uni days, etc). Then we can exchange PSN IDs so you can answer all questions and show all working.

We are a group of born in the 80's professionals (Consultants, Doctors, Engineers, Entrepreneurs, Lawyers, , etc) based all around the world (Naija, US, UK, Australia etc) who love all things football...and our wives, children, fiancees n gfs too.
We have a WhatsApp group where we arrange FIFA tournaments, challenge one another, 2v2, etc...all for fun.
We are FIFA Boiz!

Well I don't have much bragging rights other than I've never been relegated in online seasons (Division 3 currently).... For now tho lol

So I'm interested! How do I join up?

These are the same people who have been benefiting from the subsidy scam. PMB should please constitute his cabinet, the wolves are back in town. They will never suceed in pulling the nation back. If they wont build refineries, then they can take their monies elsewhere where they are not needed. Bunch of irritating, lazy businessmen.

Just to be clear Seplat doesn't import petroleum products, it's an oil & gas production company. This man you've classified among "irritating, lazy businessmen" is one of the most humble, honest and hardworking ceo in this country so try to get your facts right before you pull down someone because you're trying to sound relevant. Cheers.

I'm currently studying at one of the top 4 uni here in England, it's a great place to learn & improve on academic discipline but shockingly I agree with the OP. After you spend heaven on earth to school here (my tuition is well over £16k), it isn't economically welcoming. Although I haven't experienced any sort of discrimination since I've been here & everyone seems nice it is still better to head to Canada or USA where you get better value for your money.

I came here purely to learn not seeking job opportunities but I've reluctantly applied to some jobs after pressure from my buddies here & I've interviewed with a major engineering company that's very positive towards my application. But still I'll advise anyone looking for anything more than a sound education to head across the Atlantic.

I'm pleased to announce that the long awaited passport request came in yesterday morning and we've submitted same yesterday! Application status on CIC website changed to "Closed" yesterday evening bringing the horrendous wait to an end.

I appreciate everyone's concern and encouragement all through. God bless you all beyond reason. Delay shouldn't stop you from chasing your dream no matter what. To all that will reapply, Godspeed and wish you that final success you all deserve.

Thank you!

You have absolutely nothing to be worried about. Some of us faced this same issue; We got a quick notification that medical passed and we had to wait about two weeks to get a passport request and finally got the passport about three days later.

Don't worry about it. Just make all possible arrangements, pack, do all the running around. The passport will come soon.

Thanks for the encouragement. My lady is already packed and ready to go, we are just waiting for the passport request. A little bit more patience on our part then.

I expected everything to be done by first week of this month so she could meet me in Canada and I could take her around to buy stuff and help her settle in but I guess God knows best. I myself left Canada two days ago back to England to continue with my masters.

Hope the weather isn't torturing you too bad and you settling in fast smiley I got back to England and I was like "I love this warm weather! ". I barely wear a jacket since I got back grin

From the look of things now it seems it takes an average of 2 months to be charged and average of extra one month to be issued PER.

Keenly observing and good luck to everyone!

Any update for ur Medical?

Bro nothing still, I suspect the issue is with the hospital we used.

My advice to others waiting for medical request is to please avoid the hospital in VI called Q-Life if you can and stick with Consultants Practice at Ikoyi.

Which clinic did you do the medicals. I heard the one at Ikoyi is kind of fast

Yea I heard so too but we couldn't get a quick appointment there so it was done at Q-Life in VI

Good morning Efamily. I got the well dreaded news from CIC last night saying 'I did not satisfy them that I would come back after my studies' this was the reason given to me before. This makes the second refusal. I can't even explain my emotions right now. But I know God knows best. I guess I would have to take the other route which is through marriage as my fiancee is in Canada already. . Does anyone have detailed information as to that route? Nevertheless, I wish Tnuola , mrnilo, warrikid and other awaitees in the house a positive news from CIC . We go meet for canada soon by his grace. I can't wait to hear you guys good news Atleast it would put a smile on my face. Lol. Have a good day guys.

Oh my this is really sad sad. Well at least you know where you stand and the annoying wait is over. I think the suggestion of you deferring and a re-fire is a good one instead of having to wait on the dependent route. It is well.

So my lady was told at The Consultants Practice this morning that they won't be doing any medicals till Saturday but we refused to take that as a setback and went with the alternative, Q-Life in VI. Has anyone used them?

She's done with the medicals as of this moment and we hope to be updated by Monday. For those of us waiting on medical request your CIC notification email is soon to arrive so keep the faith! Cheers.

You can use Consultants Practise hospital at Raymond Njoku in Ikoyi. They were pretty fast in sending the medical information to CIC. I'm sure you're also aware of the cost, 28K.

All the best!
