"no access to foreign investments like Lagos has" ......is it the same level?

How many embassies are in Anambra? How many consulates? How many company headquarters?

I am talking about what I know. Lagos has more access to foreign investments than any other part of Nigeria. That is a FACT. Other seaports are not functioning because the FG controls seaports and only Lagos seaports have been enabled.

If everything was state-owned, nobody would be shouting Lagos up and down. Why don't we go to resource control and true federalism, then we can know from what stand to compare.

As it is, you cannot compare the undue advantage Lagos has with other states. I know it irks certain people to read that, but it is what it is
I think you're quite right...because the government take those things into consideration when allocating resources and projects...

What is my problem after what some of us said here about Iheanacho poor performance last season was confirmed by many neutral pundits?

Are dey also tribalist? grin

You may have soft spot for a particular tribe though you are not from there but on the other hand hate a particular tribe. That alone qualified you as a tribalist. Check your soul and don't lie to yourself. grin

'Everyone' you're talking about are 99% from one tribe. As you can see, it doesn't add up. grin

If people should be put in positions because they can deliver, what is the problem if players that can deliver are mentioned regardless of where the player and person who mention them comes from?

Even Komekn and Joebie were called tribalist because they rightfully mentioned Tammy and Onomah. But if the same fellows mention their tribes men, they are holy, righteous and perfect like God. Hahahaha! grin

Is that not getting out of hands? Is that not one form of intimidation?

Well, you may have succumbed but I refuse to. I will mention players good enough to play for the NIGERIAN NATIONAL Team even if those players are from one particular tribe. EOD

Now, answer why were you crying APC rigged Osun state election? grin

Don't tell me you hate APC for no reason. grin
you're making me laugh....
I don't even care to know the tribe of these players whenever I argue for their inclusion or canvass for them...all i take note of is them being Nigerians....

let me tell you...I have no soft spot for any tribe...
I have no tribal preference...anyone close to me in person knows this.... I only hate tribalism with disgust.

I hate it when you begin to see other tribe success as threat to yours?
people should be treated first as Nigerians prior their tribal affiliation.

it was so obvious you just wanted tear down nancho reputation just to stylisly promote some of your players....

it's like pulling down Paul to promote Peter...

that make no sense.... I am so sure no reasonable person will stoop so low.

Only one moniker has called me a tribalist, and safarigirl rightly tagged his claim baseless. Just for fact sake, I have supported players from my tribe when they perform and given them a knock when they don’t, just as I have done for other players. There is no single player I have remained loyal to no matter the weather. I THINK that sets me apart from MANY monikers here.
I only asked you a question that day...and i never called you one...
I asked if your call for Tammy was because you too came from same place...?
and safarigurl replied differently...

you've never displayed such an attitude base to make someone to affirm you a tribalist.

but unlike the moniker you quote
trust me whenever I canvass for players here...I don't even know where they hail from...all that matters to me Is that they're Nigerians.

or should we do a vote on that?

you see people should be put in positions because they can deliver and not because of tribal affiliation.

you really need to change your ways...

Hmmm... For Shehu, well, I think it's because he's just returned to action and alongside Aina we would have options on the right side of defence. In the last game, we played Awaziem as a RB. That shows we really lacked options at RB going up against Seychelles as Shehu and Aina were injured then while Ebuehi is still out as known.

For Omeruo, well... He is the first backup option to the Oyibo wall (Ekong and Balogun). Awaziem and Semi are still youngsters. Omeruo's experience trumps them and take nothing from Omeruo. He is still okay. He had a fine WC too except that moment he lost Messi or maybe Messi lost him... Lol

Our possible XI ahead of Libya in a 4-2-3-1 formation set-up based on the list.

With this list, the possibilities in the attack are enormous. Multiple kinds of combos in the starting XI would still guarantee a strong bench in attack.

We know Ighalo will start as the No.9 in the first leg unless.... wink

Well in all, we know Success is coming for that no 9 shirt. So Ighalo better be on his toes and buckle up really fast.

But the three guys behind the no.9... aha.. this is where it gets really exciting... smiley

For the AM role, Iwobi. Or would Rohr wanna have both Iheanacho and Iwobi on the pitch together again? In that set-up, we could see Iwobi as LMF, Nacho as AMF and Kalu as RMF.

But with Iwobi as AMF, we could have Musa as LMF and Kalu as RMF.

Onyekuru is not likely to start. Simon Moses starting depends on if Rohr benches our likely Captain Musa or an Iwobi if not I doubt Simon would start.

Success' time will come. I reckon he may get game time depending on Ighalo'a output upfront in these two Libya games.

In Central and defensive midfield, we would see Ndidi likely pairing Onazi again leaving Etebo and Ogu on the bench.

In defence, I expect Aina to start ahead of Shehu at RB as Shehu is just returning to action while Aina has been turning heads in Italy with his solid performances. I hope he convinces further in camp to seal that spot too. In Ebuehi's absence, I reckon with Aina over Shehu. A fit and in form Shehu may edge it but he is just returning while Aina has been balling at both RWB and LWB. I just feel Aina should win the battle for that starting slot at RB.

At LB, I think Rohr will stick with Idowu. Collins will have to play second fiddle again. Mind you Aina is also another option at LB if Rohr goes with Shehu at RB and feels Aina should be deployed on the left.. you may never know with this man sometimes. Lol

In Central defence, We expect to see the Oyibo wall in action together again since they last played together against Argentina at Russia 2018. Ekong and Balogun easily starts.

Semi Ajayi, Awaziem (yet to get games under his belt), and Omeruo (also yet to feature) will all bench.

In goal, the last line of defence, of course we know Uzoho starts again as he seeks to get his 5th clean sheet in his 11th cap for the Super Eagles.

Ezenwa and Akpeyi are mere backups and I, honestly, am pretty tired of seeing them on the list but I guess we have to deal with it for now.
Better options like Dele Ajiboye, Okeimute Odah, and most popular of them all, Theophilus Afelokhai are available but time will tell.

For the long run, talents like Dele Alampasu and Maduka Okoye would hopefully grow and become fine options in goal too.

At the cadet/age grade levels, we still got our eyes on the likes Gavin Bazunu and Arthur Okonkwo for the long-long term. wink

In conclusion, I just feel these are some of the feasible approaches Rohr may try out in a 4-2-3-1.
you know how conservative and archaic that old man could be?
he don't mind keep sticking with Ighalo for 90 mins even when he keep missing seaters.
let us see someone else in the CF role....
I pray success seal up that spot once and for all.

Rohr Recalls Success For Libya’s Double-head Clash

By Abubakar Yunusa , Abuja

Coach Gernot Rohr has handed Isaac Success a recall to the Super Eagles squad for the forthcoming back to back AFCON 2019 Qualifying matches against Libya, according to report.

Success last played for Nigeria in 2017 in a friendly game against Senegal and despite an impressive outing after coming on as a second half substitute, injuries, fitness and poor form has kept him out of the Nigerian team.

Since the start of the season, the 21 year old has turned a corner in terms of his fitness and performance as he has been involved with Watford, although mostly as a substitute in the league but in the Carabao Cup he scored twice for them before their exit in the hands of Tottenham Hotspurs on Wednesday.

Rohr is a big fan of the forward due to his physical attributes and ability to play on the flanks and as a top striker, a chance to stake a claim for a spot in the senior national team of Nigeria has now been handed to the forward.
He will be in the list of players which will be released on Tuesday against group leaders Libya in Uyo and later in Tunisia.

Meanwhile, Confederation of African Football (CAF) have finally approved NFF to have the Africa Cup of Nations’ first leg qualifier against Libya shifted to a new date and venue.
The confirmation from CAF came in a formal notification to Libyan Football Federation (LFF) that the first leg of their double-qualifier against Nigeria will now hold at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, October 13.
The formal notification from CAF to LFF in effect confirms that it will no longer hold at Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on October 12, while the reverse fixture in the Group E tussle between both countries for 2019 AFCON tickets will now be on October 16 in Tunisia.

This is a major victory for Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, who repeatedly expressed concerns about the small size of Ahmadu Bello Stadium pitch.
Rohr buttressed his worries when he met top shots of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) during The Best FIFA Football Awards 2018 in London on September 24.
Incidentally, while the Franco-German feared that the ABS pitch is not up to standard and his players would not be comfortable playing on the turf, NFF top shots had already expressed worries about possible overcrowding by fans at the stadium in Kaduna.

It would be recalled that CAF slammed Nigeria with a $5,000 fine for allowing excess spectators at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium for an AFCON qualifier against Egypt in March 2016.

success should be allowed to play the CF role.... let Ighalo watch proceedings from the bench.

Now, we are at it again.

Iheanacho is ahead of Ighalo in the no 9 role. Excuse me please, I don't want to argue without you showing me facts to buttress your point.

Double standard is when you judge Ighalo based on world cup performance (which I think is the parameters used against him even before the last match) yet exempt Iheanacho from the same performance.

Let us wait until we see Ighalo fumbles in the next matches. Thank you.
even an amateur player won't miss those seaters he missed against Argentina.
nancho never missed any of such...
tell me who amongst them has the highest number of goals in the super eagles per match ratio?

left to me.... other strikers like KAYODE, simy and taiwo should be invited in his place...even playing a winger like Henry or musa as a top 9 will be better productive.

please never you compare both nancho and Ighalo again.... even as a 9 nancho is more clinical and better positioned so what does Ighalo have?

I don't really like comparing players but the truth on this one is so obvious.
