Philosopher1979: MY AFCON ATTACK
Our attack should be Samuel Chukwueze, Chidera Ejuke in the wings playing just behind Sadiq Umar as our top striker. This way, we have 3 dribblers in our midfield and attack. We can even play with 3 defensive midfielders with these kind of players in our attack. Also, Nwakali can be tried in midfield to see how good he can be. I mean Nwakali with 2 defensive midfielders. Iwobi needs help, competition and rest in that midfield role of his. He is overworked playing for Nigeria. I just hope Nwakali will take his chance. If he does not play well, then he has himself to blame If he plays well, then it will help his career You've said it all Well said please replace Nwakali with Aribo |

No wahala I have always say this the reason why the dude is where he is clubwise is because of he is not ambitious and very unserious with his career Talent is not enough, what effort does he put to better his career daily, weekly and monthly Just like a brilliant student who does not do extra study when he get to leave the class every day and even during exams he will remain average or even below average.... Many canvassing for him here dont know this, wish they can pass a message to him... to be hungry and work train extra to build his potential and abilities |

I don't believe the story sha because with a WC coming up and a new coach in charge, it's actually a foolish decision to make. Let's see what comes out soon we will get to know the truth Also.. I believe partly because Dennis have always been said to have attitude issues and proud |

ChrisKels: That is not true. Dennis was never invited when others were invited, what informed his inclusion in the already made list was his recent form, that is the only reason Watford was able to withhold him, that is the only reason NFF can't do nothing about it. You are not a dumbo, so you should know that the NFF will have a case to make if the invites were sent same period Ekong's was sent. Use your head. But how about the info from Solace ? If what you put up there is true... Rohr is a menace sha. What offense did Dennis commit that made him to keep omitting his name then even in those qualifiers Dennis deserves a look in. He was in good form then but Rohr snubbed him and even the NFF submitted a list without Dennis being included and they didn't question the German |

Triniti: I know you are passionate about the team and wants them to perform very well, but sometimes, things don’t always work the way we want them. The guys you mentioned has been with the team for a longtime and hardly gets to play.
They are not the fulcrum of the team and look at you mentioning Bassey, a guy that has not been tested on the international scene, this is just his breakaway season.
It’s a national team, you just don’t overhaul like that, you integrate players gradually, blame Rohr for Ebuehi,Kevin and Dessers predicaments. Austin has nothing to do with it. Thanks for your civil response Bless u |

Triniti: You are beginning to sound like a broken record, what’s lopsided about the team list? That your favorite players like Dessers, kelvin and Ebuehi didn’t make the team list, is that why the list is lopsided?
Rohr that invited these guys never gave any of them a chance to showcase what they can do, now you are referring to coach that has less that 2 weeks to prepare for a major tournament as a fraud.
I told you before, you need to get a firm grip of your emotions, you are a man for crying out loud. Your reason is shady A list that omitted players like Akpo, Ebuehi and Bassey for Olise, Omeruo,Collins and shehu is not lopsided to U? And also include Nwakali with no goal or assist this season Sometimes the fact that you can't speak the truth does not mean u should berate others who dare speak the truth As long as the Coach have not grant a press conference to explain the rationale behind those call ups the list still not acceptable to many fans Your last paragraph shows you have a problem with the way you decode my write ups... You really need to meet me in real life to know that what I put up here ends here and barely taken to heart or seriously. |

TheGoodJoe: Some of you are forgetting Eguavoen was the on-field captain of Clemens Westerhof when we won the AFCON in 1994. So he had a big understanding of the tactics and it plays a big part in the way the team will pray.
I am hoping for the best of the team and pray the guys do very well in the competition.
I am not just praying for Eguavoen to have a good tournament. I am praying for the team to win that cup. That is my hope and prayer.
I wonder what yours is.
I pray God grants us victory. I want the team to succeed thats why I am so concerned but i see him toiling Rohr path already and that scares me Any coach with fair and unbiased team selection with little knowledge of tactics and team cohesion can achieve much wit the super eagles |

I dont understand but i believe he must be a good player to be in porto first team and play so many matches a season. He even had 2 key passes in this match which shows he can create chances Nobody here fault his inclusion in the 28 man list It is the inclusion of names like Omeruo, Ndah, Collins and Shehu that raised dust in that defense |

I hope you know Eguavoen has been in camp with Ndah and Nwakali before. Just pray this Equeavon does not flop Because with this tactics you guys are using to defend his lopsided list A man that spend minutes talk on how the 1994 team plays instead of revealing his own team tactics and approach to games but instead all he was dishing out was westerwolf tactics and team play. I am not worried..been that after afcon he will be replaced and when Pinnick leaves him and Aigbogun will leave with him Some of this Indigenous Coaches always proves the fraud and corrupt nature that have limited their progress all this while Right in Leicester you will see the Kolou Toure cutting it in coaching same with Yaya Toure in Russia and Frimpong in Switzerland and many other Africa countries ex players but for our ex internationals nothing of such to be attached to them....all they talk when opportune reveal team tactics is to reveal how the 1994 team plays as if the 1994 team won a world cup or even got to the semi finals of the mundial Keep raising the embers of mediocrity will remind u when the Coach You're busy defending shows how inept he is |

I could have prefer a Cyril Desser cos of his current form for his club side Fear indigenous coaches Dessers is one of the most inform Nigeria forward at the moment but because he is a foreign born He will be ignored That's sum up the reason why this indigenous coaches barely make progress outside Nigeria... because no system can tolerate their corrupt and biased nature You will see them jostling round the national team as if their life depends on it |

kingphilip: So you were clamoring for Rohr sack due to player selection?
Wow tell me something Rohr was sacked because of how his team plays...it didn't impress the lost, wins and draws and this was because of team tactics and players fielded which all stems from players selection How Simon, Ekong and Collins etc kept playing nonsense and none got dropped played a role in the abysmal play of the super eagles Oga as it is now we expect whoever replaced rohr to do better in team selection, tactics and players management and fielding so using Rohr incompetence to justify Equeavon lopsided list is uncalled for |

Abeg , let him go sit down and wait for next time....after all , we have players who painted Europe with goals and great skills but Rohr made sure he frustrated them out....Onyekuru comes to mind. Oga I expect u to see nothing good in Lookman Please don't diss that player even though i know your sentiments and hatred for foreign born players most especially innit boys stink to high heavens Dude is way ahead of onyekuru currently. Rohr is not responsible for onyekuru failed club football, dude has refused to up his game For Lookman the super eagles needs him...the reason why the NFF is having rest over this matter is because he has not been fully cleared yet or else it would have been a serious issue |

TheGoodJoe:
As for Bassey, I feel the same sentiments played a part. Remember the time is short and it is not a long tournament. So I feel Eguavoen is okay with Omeruo, Ekong, Awaziem, and Balogun. These are four defenders for two positions. So he added Ndah in case of a tactical preference. So carrying Bassey and Akpoguma would be surplus for the central position and left back roles. The time is not short for Olise Ndah abi Oga That list is fraud Why should players like omeruo, shehu, Olise and Collins made the list ahead of akpo, bassey and Ebuehi ? There is no excuse all this points u made up there ain't tenable.... You ignore a german budisliga player for a budisliga 2 player and shun Seria A player for Cyprus based player and Rangers versatile defender for a segundaB and PSL player We agree that merit should always triumph mediocrity. You see that Noble invitation it goes to show some players made this list based on man know man I just dont understand why indigenous coaches can't prove to be different for ones I expect Goodjoe to defend Equeavon on that call up too or rather use Rohr lapses to defend it forgetting Equeavon was the Technical Director that approves that 40 man list |

Why did we sack rohr sir? I hate it when we reference rohr to defend Equeavon lopsided 28 man list The truth is players like omuruo, Collins,Olise and shehu dont deserve to be in the last ahead of players like Ebuehi, bassey and akpo when we talk of qualities, skills sets and club foot ball We tolerating mediocrity by defending Equeavon lopsided list |
