(1) Arrest and Jail Tinubu for his crimes against the people of Lagos state. (2) Probe Theodore Orji (3) Probe Buhari's certificate forgery and, if need be, use him as an example. (4) Hasten the implementation of CONFAB resolutions. (5) Create Special courts for EFCC (6) Strengthen our relations with Israel, Pakistan, Russia, US and the UK (7) Ensure that never again will BokoHaram hold us to ransome ( Strive to improve upon the recent gains in and ensure constant power supply. In fact, there's something I like saying: "give us constant power nd we will develop the country" (9) Grant Amnesty to Ameachi. 2 Likes 1 Share |

menix:Haha...that's just it my brother. Here in Africa, we hold very high opinion of ourselves. A friend of mine in the UK told me that David cameron goes to work at times on a public transport; that the major of London goes on a bicycle; and Queen Elizabeth's convoy doesn't blare a siren.. |

Jibola10:These are two different scenerios. I called for his sack for crying out loud; Etoo didn't! So why wouldn't he respond, if only to disabuse peoples minds from my comment. Also, what is the big deal about Mou responding to my comment. Oh, I see! In Africa, and perhaps Nigeria, leaders are so disconnected from their people in a way that responding to their people's comments on social media is considered a big deal. |

You may be wondering why Mourinho took special interest in mine. The reason isn't far-fetched: apart from the fact that my comment was the only negative comment (and also the only one which directly attacked his person), I was also lucky to be among the first five commenters, out-of hundreds of thousand of would-be commenters. It was just that the moment I logged in coincided with the moment the news item was just posted, so I immediately commented. If it were in Nairaland, I would have shouted "front-page things." 1 Like |

ANAMBRA11:Ask yourself, what would it profit me to just come up with something like this? If I hadn't deleted that post of mine on Chelsea fb page, I would have posted here the link to it and the comments that followed it, both mourinho's and those of other chelsea supporters. |

Jibola10:I was careful enough not to edit his comment and to post it here just the way it appeared. If I was really bent on make-believe, don't you think I would have edited his comment and polished it so anyone could easily believe? Mind you, Mourinho is a portugese. Though he might be a bit fluent in spoken english, his written english will obviously sulk. You don't expect somebody who is a speaker of up to five languages to have the time to study the correct use of punctuations. 1 Like |

menix:No. I was simply surprised that mourinho, as busy as he is, still has time to log into chelsea's fb page and comment on fans' posts. How many managers do that? It goes to show how much he loves the club, and that he really means it when he says that Chelsea is like a home to him. 1 Like |

I commented on a news item on Chelsea's fb page as follows: "I had since stopped watching chelsea matches; they crashed out of CL league. Mourinho should be sacked; his tactics destroyed us." I also added: "Mourinho is a fearful coach. Had he taken it to the parisians, we would have emerged victorious." Few minutes later, after others might have responded, I recieved the notification below: "Jose Mourinho replied to your comment on Chelsea Football Club's photo (as follows):" "when u are a fool u are a fool no matter how people tries to correct u, u will always try to prove your foolishness to be right I am the best coach in the world and I ways tell u that some times u lose even when u play well some times u win even if u don't play well." If I hadn't deleted that post of mine, the time of which coincided with the time he posted the comment, I would have replied him thus: "Sir, I am one of your avid supporters and you need to see the way I brag about you to my friends. However, I have to state the blatant fact when I see one, which is that you, Jose, are fearful. Your fearfulness costed us both City matches - a club Liverpool easily dispatched off. Anyway, thank you for stopping over to comment, but know that I am always entitled to my opinion, whether it is convenient with you or not. Thanks" |

Health / Are You Still Using A Hand Sanitizer? by humnsikan: 8:42pm On Mar 17, 2015 |
I was in a Pharmacy today - actually I work there - when a man observed the number of unsold hand sanitizers and immediately exclaimed, "Nigerians are crazy! No Ebola, No Hand Sanitizer." That got me thinking for a while. Was I to agree that Nigerians are indeed crazy or not, especially in this regard? Are we really a bunch of reactive rather proactive than people? Haven't we learnt enough lesson from Ebola? Why do we need to be reminded by a plaque the importance of proper hygiene? I can imagine the number that no longer take the washing of hands (especially after returning from a place they were sure to shake hands with people) important. I am a guilty of this. Are you too? Are you still using hand sanitizers? |

TV/Movies / Was I Being Unpatriotic? by humnsikan: 12:41pm On Jan 06, 2015 |
A Botswanan I met online asked me to recommend to her an interesting Nollywood movie for her to watch. I was absolutely ashamed recommending any nollywood movie to her. At last I could only recommend two movies: Half of a yellow sun and October 1. I could have equally recommended movies like Ije and the likes if I had remembered. Now, my question goes: was I being unpatriotic, or is Nollywood to blame given the low quality movies they daily insult our sensibilities with? |

Politics / Re: Military Not With Buhari’s Certificate (s). by humnsikan: 4:02pm On Jan 02, 2015 |
It is terrible that one would indulge in lies to satisfy one's dangerous and unbridled lust for power. Who would have believed that Buhari, the self-styled Mr. Integrity who happens to be another version of the House of Reps Thief Farouk Lawal, would be neck-deep in lies just to satisfy his hunger for power. If INEC fails to disqualify Grandpa Buhari (if it's finally proved that he does not have the minimum academic qualification to contest for the presidency) then INEC's credibility will be called to question and we may be forced to occupy INEC's office till they do the needful. 3 Likes |

OP, you are enjoying freedom of speech o! Freedom to edit wikipedia and then copy and past on Nairaland. This are the things that are very strange to your paymaster Buhari, the man you are trying so hard to defend. Nigerians are no fools as you are trying so hard to portray them. They have rejected Buhari intoto and 100%. He should go and rule in Saudi Arabia. 3 Likes |

Buhari and his contemporaries represent ALL that is wrong with Nigeria. He and his cronies put Nigeria where it is today. Nigerians have rejected Buhari 100%. It is he, Buhari, that posthumously exonerated ridiculously corrupt Sani Abachi, in one of his interviews, from corruption. Grandpa Buhari, you should be playing with your grand-children at home and not come to struggle for power you once held and achieved little to nothing. Again, Nigerians have rejected you and will vote en-masse for GEJ. In case you decide to unleash your foot soldiers on Nigerians after your impending loss, we will collectively resist them and return fire for fire. Good will always triumph over evil and light over darkness. 45 Likes 8 Shares |
