Politics / Confirmed! APC Now Running Nairaland Politics Section by humnsikan: 9:24am On Dec 19, 2014
Didn't I say it? I posted some minutes ago to ask if it's APC that's now running this section. Now guess what? That post has been taken down. What does that tell you? I leave you to guess the answer.
Politics / Seun, Change The Moderators Of This Section; They Are Too Partisan! by humnsikan: 9:09am On Dec 19, 2014
Sometimes I wonder if it APC agents hat are moderating this section. Their partisanship is shown in the number of pro-Buhari posts that make it to the frontpage compared to little or no pro-GEJ's posts. For the sake of your business, before you lose customers (I may be forced to delete my account), quickly do something about the moderators of this forum. Their partisanship has reached another level entirely.

I ASSURE YOU, this will never make the frontpage.

Good luck with that...
It's not a matter of luck. You don't wish someone good luck in a venture you know he will easily accomplish, especially if he has majority support.
Politics / Re: Northern Nigeria: Boko Haram Summarily Executes Young Men Who Refused To Join It by humnsikan: 6:02pm On Dec 18, 2014
That is why Nigerians should reject Buhari and the APC come 2015.

Serious food for thought.
It sure is.

That's why its a democracy.

If the majority chooses to be blind to your "prophetic" warnings, you can only fold your arms in exasperation.

But majority of 170m people can't be wrong.

Can they?
Yes, majority can't be wrong in rejecting Buhari on three occasions. They will do it again in 2015. It is only foreigners like you that won't get the message.

Politics / 2015 Elections: Will It Make Or Mar Nigeria? by humnsikan: 11:51am On Dec 01, 2014
Given the unfolding events in the country in the build-up to the 2015 elections - from the politicization of security issues, the sharply divergent views on the performance of the current administration, to the threat from some sections of the north and south alike to forment violence should their respective candidates not win the elections - do you think the 2015 elections will make or mar Nigeria. Be frank in airing your views?

Hahahaa...bros, I'm straight. Does it now take being a gay to be emotional? Remember, I said, "no forming."

Romance / Ladies, Guys, How Do You View A Guy Who Cries. by humnsikan: 4:13pm On Sep 08, 2014
I'm a very emotional person, but I find it very difficult to express it, especially when I'm among ladies. For instance, at the climax of some very emotional movies, people cry; but I don't do so, especially in the presence of my sisters. I could still recall an occasion that something happened, and I was spontaneously moved to tears before everyone. After that incidence, I was so, so ashamed. Now, let's forget about that "there's no shame in crying" thing. Ladies, guys, how do you view a guy who cries? Ladies, would you love spending you entire life with such a guy? Pls, "no forming"; be very honest in your response.

tabletgirl: Fireproof (for troubled marriages)

Heaven is for real - real life story. You can watch the boy's interview on youtube

Flywheel

i think Flywheel, fireproof and courageous were produced by the same church. Sherwood or sherman baptist church or so. Great movies.
Yeah, the three movies are just out of this world, especially fireproof. "how do I forgive someone who offends and offends and offends me again and again?". This was my highpoint in fireproof.

(1) COURAGEOUS: My, my, my; have you seen this movie before? I was really touched when the father went back to where Emily, his pretty little daughter, had asked him to dance with her while she was still alive and he refused. I hardly cry, but you needed to see the my emotions on that day. Have you seen the movie before? Where was you highest point in the movie? Infact, just share your thoughts on the movie.

Politics / Re: Nigerian Vs American President: Whose Job Is More Stressful? by humnsikan: 8:59pm On Aug 23, 2014
eighTHREAD: How can your job be stressful when you have 11 presidential jets, several aides, dumb citizens and the ability to make $20billion disappear?

Your argument is faulty for the following reasons:

(1) He uses just one jet at a time, and this makes him even with Obama. (2) According to one Nairaland thread, Airforce 1 is the most expensive and comfortable presidential jet in the world
(3) Everyone as agreed that it is easier to lead the educated than the uneducated; you do not have to expend so much energy to get the educated to understand your concepts and agenda. I don't think Americans would have protested the fuel subsidy removal.
(4) I can't connect how 20billion disapperance relates the topic. (5) And Aides? According this link -- news.investors.com/politics-andrew-malcolm/012612-599002-obama-white-house-staff-back-taxes.htm -- Obama has 36 aides; and, according to another, Michelle has 16.

lilprinze: American president is more stressful because being the president of America is like being the president of the whole world he is always having meetings with different world leaders, he is always traveling from one place to another daily, He thinking of how to improve on the development in America and how to conquer terrorism in the world etc

Like someone rightly said above, there are a lot of square pegs in square holes in America; so the president doesn't really have to bother himself. Apart from that, they equally have working institutions of government who know what to do at the right time. In fact, America is like Barcelona: any manager can manage it to a relative success.
Politics / Nigerian Vs American President: Whose Job Is More Stressful? by humnsikan: 6:47pm On Aug 23, 2014
I used to think that being the president of America is the most stressful Job anyone could ever take until I saw some guys on fox channel criticizing Obama for his golf playing habit. I was imagining how unthinkable that would be for a Nigerian President. What do you think?
Culture / Re: How Do You Say "In Fact" In Your Language? by humnsikan: 10:35pm On Aug 16, 2014
But, how come it takes a sentence to represent the simple word "infact" in our various languages.
Culture / Re: How Do You Say "In Fact" In Your Language? by humnsikan: 6:22pm On Aug 16, 2014
Fulaman198: In Fombina Mbororo Fulfulde dialect it is 'Tawa'. I don't know how other Fulani countries in west Africa call it but that's in our Fombina Fulfulde Mbororo dialect right Bororojo, Aumeehn, Cronsberg, Sdqxxx and other Fulani natives here.

wow! I don't know how it's clled in my language.
