Guys, I'm in a little dilemma here. I just booked my flight to Frankurt by Turkish Airline in a One Way trip, but I was told I must go back to book a return instead, since my student visa elapses 3 months after. Right now, I have arranged my budget to meet One Way trip, do not have enough to cover return ticket. To everyone who have been through this travelling ish, did any of you experienced similar thing?

The temporary accomodation is to enable you guys stay temporarily in a hall of residence b4 dey will start the real posting afresh. Some of you may be lucky to be retained to your temporary abode and dat will save stress of packing. All of this are done wit no charge.

As for the mattress, every hall has mattress of the same type kept in charge of the hall porters through out the school, those mattress are nt meant to be given out sha and up till today, i no know wetin dem dey use am do. He be like say those porters sef dey do arrangee dey sell those mattress. But its good to bring yours from home, no carry mind for dat one.

There's no seniority in UI o. Dnt let anyone ride you, but nevertheless, respect others sha. As for mattress, u shld bring yours. As for cupboard, you may nt really need one coz cupboards are mostly available in the rooms and it depends on the halls of residence you posted too. Bt if @ all you wanna bring, jst get a small one sha.
Visitatn, anybody is allowd to visit provided is withing visitatn time. 4pm till 9pm sha. While on holidays and weekends, 10am till 9pm. Although, dis laws are nt really enforced @ guys hostels o. Babes don sleep for zik hall overnite several times before. No say i tell you o. Bt its illegal sha, and pls do follow d rules. You cud bring ur t.v and oda audio gadgets too in as much ur room can contain them. Enjoy ursef bro!

Sincerely, as i'm talking to you now, i didn't do any medical registration coz of the lining up palava. But notwithstanding, i won't advise you do d same coz you will still meet it in either when you are striken down wit malaria or during when you graduating and you need to do your clearance. And if you are the sport type who want to go for NUGA or participate in sporting activities in the dept or faculty, you will also need it very well. When i was in 100l, there was a guy who slumpd and dies instantly, on AWO football pitch, and eva since then, it has been a compulsory thing for sportmen to tender there jaja card when they want to participate in sporting activities

U know courses and dept or faculty differs coz there are many of them. But certainly, you will be asked to register for courses in your dept and in order to complete your unit( a unit is d amt of hrs spend on a course in d lecture room) you will also borrow courses from oda dept withing or outside your faculty. As for dressing, jst put on anything cool and satisfactory by you. I can assure you no one's gonna harrass you for wearing anything. In fact, my 100l, i use to dress like a rock star, I have friends that plait their hair and all that. It's no one business sha in as much you okay wit what you wearing. About cultism, like i said in my former post; i haven't heard abt any before o. And maybe they are layn low bt really, there has neva been any cult activities b4. There are times that i walk 3 and 4am on schl road. Nobody is gonna harrass you buddy, jst do your thing bt do mind the company you keep sha as you coming in.

This is my fourth year stay in UI and i can assure you, we have never heard of a case of lynching anywhere before except this year february when some act were perpetrated by some misguided youth. And guess what?? They were nabbed, u can never get away wit anything in UI o. We 've got spies among students that feeds the management info. So, be free bt not to profane the laws. Hey guy! i just got an intel from a friend that works @ the admissions office and was told that UI has joined other universities in 9ja to conduct a written post-ume exam unlike the interactive exam y'all know UI for. I don't know how true this may be, but one thing i know for sure at my 3years stay in UI is that rumors most times comes out to be the "TRUE DEAL". ain't trying to scare u guys off @ all but i'll just urge you to start studying all over again like y'all did 4 ur UTME. I may not always be here too, but if u feel like asking more about the post ume thing y'all could get me on

For many of you who do not know. UI calculates the cut-off marks like this: C6:2pt, C5:4pt, C4:6pt, B3: 8pt, B2: 10pt, A1: 12pt. Then, whatever you score in your jamb will be divided by 10. For example, a candidate who had A1 in 5 relevant subject and and scored 250 in UTME will be calculated like:
A1-12 in 5 places given us 60pt. Then 10 divided by 250 given us 25.0.
Now 60 +25.0 will now give us 85pts. Now thats your waited point

You guyz should try as much as possible to keep finger crossed. The truth is that, many people have done this post-ume or interactive session magic over and over again, and i can assure you it's not a "biggy". And again, the truth is that, if you are being invited based on what you submitted at the result submission, then you are 80percent guaranteed to be eventually admitted at the end. What i mean is that, when you are being invited for the interactive session, the ball is in your court as you can either make or mar your chance of being admitted. For more info. 07037227882
