If NYSC post you to a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) that you do not like, the best way to change it is to get rejection letter from where they posted you. For example, if NYSC post you to Grammar Primary school, but you do not like it, the best way to change it is to make Grammar Primary school reject you. Follow the link below to see how to go about it https://nyscinfo.com/how-to-change-your-nysc-ppa/ |
The Youth Entrepreneurship Development Programme (YEDP) was launched on 15th March, 2016 to enhance the deployment of the ingenuity and resourcefulness of Nigerian youths for maximum economic development. This was in recognition of the fact that there was no better segment of the Nigerian population than the youths to propel us to our much-needed economic recovery and diversification. In the third quarter of 2015, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) indicated that of the 36.3 million youths representing 48% of the nation’s labour force, 13.6 million or 37.7% of them were either unemployed or underemployed. This situation could not be allowed to fester given that many of our youths had very bright ideas and big dreams but are constrained by scarce seed funding. The YEDP aims to fix the triple-barreled constraints of insufficiency, high cost and inadequate term of capital usually faced by youth entrepreneurs and startups. It offers credit of up to N3million to eligible youth or N10 million for groups of 3 – 5 youths, Interest rate is 9% per annum. Tenor broadly depends on project complexity and cash flow but is between 1 year for working capital loan and 3 years for term loan. The collateral requirements are quite simple: academic and NYSC certificates, third party guarantees and other movable assets. Target beneficiaries are members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), non-NYSC (but not more than five years post-NYSC), those who possess a verifiable tertiary institution certificate, and artisans with First School Leaving Certificate or a technical certificate or accredited proficiency certificate from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), whichever is applicable. Beneficiaries can be encouraged to migrate to other CBN interventions to obtain more funding if they utilize the YEDP facility properly. Apply Here |
A female member of the National Youth Service Corps scheme, Ayomikun Ademorayo, who is serving in Osun State died on Sunday after she allegedly washing her hair with an insecticide, Sniper, to eliminate stubborn lice on her head. Nyscinfo.com learnt that Ayomikun applied 'Sniper' in her hair when discovered lice in her hair during preparation to fix new hair for her upcoming birthday celebration on 18th July. Ayomikun, who was an orphan and a prominent member of the NYSC state volleyball team, applied the insecticide to her hair on Sunday afternoon and became unconscious few minutes later, and was rushed to a private hospital in Osogbo. But died on the way to the hospital. Eye witness said; "Ayomikun loose her hair in order to make a new style for her birthday, which is in 10 days’ time. She was preparing for July 18. She had bought a new clothe and bag for the purpose. She discovered that lice had invested her hair. "So, on Sunday afternoon, she just applied Sniper to her hair to eliminate the lice. Shortly after she did that, Ayomikun lost consciousness and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Osogbo. But she died before she could get to the hospital." https://nyscinfo.com/corps-member-who-washed-hair-with-sniper-dies-10-days-to-birthday/

The National Youth Service Corps Foundation has begun to search for about 75 corps members who took loans between N300,000 and N400,000 to start small scale businesses but refused to pay after 4 years. The defaulting corps members, who have now passed out, used their certificates as collateral to collect the loan but abandoned their certificates with the foundation for 4 years now. I going to show you how to do NYSC online registration with N500 only or even below that amount. I was prompted to write this podt because of a certain post I spotted on a blog teaching Prospective Corps Members how to run away without paying Cyber cafe man after doing online registration. You to run away is not good! So I want to show you how to minimise the cost instead of running away with somebody's money. All you need is your smart phone or computer, then follow these steps: 1. Go to the NYSC registration portal at portal.nysc.ng.org to start your registration with you computer or smart phone. NOTE: The NYSC online registration system automatically save each process you have passed through during registration. So you can logout and login any time to start from where you stopped. 2. When you get to the stage where to thumbprint, but because you don't have thumbprinting scanner, just log out. 3. Go to Cyber Cafe, and tell them that you only want to do thumbprinting, they would charge you N500 or less. 4. After thumbprinting in Cyber Cafe, log out and go back home. 5. When you get home, login and proceed to other stage (by that time, you have passed thumbprinting). Source: https://nyscinfo.com/how-to-do-nysc-online-registration-with-n500/ |

(I attached the screenshot of the debited acct at the end of this post) This is to alert the general public and the good people of Nigeria what First Bank is doing to its customers, especially those that have advanced in age. Note: I'm not writing this to discredit the bank but to seek solution from Nairalanders, and also to alert the general public. Before writing this I have gone to one of their branches, where I actually opened the account, but they didn't have solution. On Monday, at exactly 7:11am, I recieve an alert that my account has been debited N5,842.23, savings account. I did not do any transaction nor sign up for anything; be it online or offline. I quickly ran to one of their branches for explanation and to know if they can revert it. But to my greates surprise, none of their customers care staff knew the reason my account was debited. They held me in the bank for complete 4hours, until i was told to fill a complaint form, which I did. But for them to attend me became another problem, I had to wait for extra 1hr. I spent N1,500 forT-fare to visit them I lose about N6,000 for shutting down my business. When it became obvious that they purposely avoided my case, I left the bank. When I narrated the story to some people, they told me that it might be one yahoo guy that work in the bank. One of them told me how his 78-year-old mum was debit 10,000 for no reason. That they mostly target old people who have acct with them. Please, can anybody explain to me why First Bank debited my account ?Below is the screenshot of the debit:
