I know the other major tribes too because I have lived among them, so I know what I am saying.

I am not saying people from other tribes don't treat others good but it is always based on an individual level or person but collectively as a people and individually as a person the Igbos are the number one.

This is great to see. Doff my hat to the leaders of Akwa Ibom. Akpabio may not be to everyone's taste but he was consistently one of the top three Governors in terms of road infrastructure throughout his tenure.

Good to see the current Governor is keeping to the template. Kudos to the leaders and people of Akwa Ibom because good roads is a very important consideration in Nigeria where road transport is the only reliable form of transport for the masses currently.

Hope the worthless 'developers' can learn from this rather than continue disturbing us daily about their villages having 10000 billionaires per square kilometer while everywhere is squalid and hosting roads with potholes big enough to swallow a truck.

If you really know where you come from in the type of political atmosphere that you have in Nigeria, you should never be against any unegeh in this country. I'm happy this is a nice publicity about Akwa Ibom state...but truth be told...Gov. Udom has neglected Ikot Ekpene and other Annang LGAs in his road building and infrastructure politics...Onna gets all. Even Akpabios hotel is still not opened because of non completion of Ik- Uyo road...his only project in Ikot Ekpene..Annang people are not happy!

As of city size uyo is still growing, Akwa Ibom is among the youngest states in Nigeria created as recently as 1987,so comparing us to Lagos or port Harcourt that witnessed development from colonial times is really unfair or even comparing us with older States, even Abuja is older us so leave that side, compared to so many states Akwa Ibom is far ahead, one thing Akwa Ibom has is that development is not concentrated in the capital alone like you have in most Nigerian states, ikot ekpene,eket,itam,abak,oron and other places are more developed than many cities in Nigeria. Akwa ibom is still growing and it's growing fast.

It's good to have good roads, reduces cost of transportation and unfortunate events like accidents etc. But he should also invest in our people too, he should try more in industrialization. If he can get the seaport fully operational before he goes his name will forever be remembered in the state.

I will love to agree with on good roads network in AKWA IBOM, but the state have a long way to go. I have been to d state more than 5 times last year and i tell u, Uyo is a very small town/city that u cn drive through 4 less than 3 hours. Considering federal allocation to state and the IGR. One wil think that d uneployment rate in d state wil reduce but dat is not d case.

This is wonderful news but the government needs to also look at developing industries.

Competition for investments have made investment in infrastructures alone not sufficient enough to attract investment from the private sector.

I really hope Awka ibom reach new heights, I have a lot of diligent friends there.
