@Sashafm Just had to say something to you after reading your post. Please don't make the mistake of ever under-estimating anyone. I was in your shoes some years back and I also thought the guy in question wasn't focused enough and had no concrete ambition, I actually left him because of that, as I felt we were not moving at the same pace. But today, he is miles ahead of me in terms of academic qualifications and is now a professional in his chosen field and even got a job outside the country. My point is, a man not been vocal about his long and short term goals doesn't mean he doesn't want to amount to someone great in life, he might just still be processing the plans in his mind. Don't give up on him based on that alone as you might end up regretting it. |
@kunle4u, really appreciate your response. I am a microbiologist and presently work with a manufaturing company and was wondering how applicable it will be in that sector. |
Hi People, does anyone have a first-hand experience of the processes involved in becoming a member of the NISP? Also how relevant is it in the oill & gas and manufacturing sectors? Responses will be appreciated. |
I had a bad experience of recent. I was driving in an uphill area directly behind a trailer in a narrow road when all of a sudden the trailer starter reversing backwards uncontrollably. the shock of what was about to happen first immobilised me before I was spurred into action. I immediately put my own car in reverse while trying to swerve out of the way at the same time, but the cars and okada behind me constituted a hindrance. Before I knew what was happening the trailer was on my car, pushing it back, with mine also pushing back the one behind and so it continued. the trailer eventually swerved off the road taking my car along in the process untill it eventually stopped after pushing my car against a building by the road. The miracle was that I survived without the merest of scratches. The car was really smashed from front, back and passenger side. |
His dress sense, I just love guys that know how to dress, in terms of fittings and colour combinations. |
You can buy your English, Dubai, White, Saudi or Romania Gold at the Chenchenya market in kaduna. You can't miss it, once you get to the market, ask of the Gold section, and you will be directed. |
I am really happy for Chimamanda. I've read that book and WOW! that book is goooooood. can't wait to see it on sceen, I only hope they do justice to the story line and not over-edit it thereby making it lose its real substance. |
