You see this image below, this ballistic missiles can carry warheads bigger than what F35 can carry. F35 or F16 will take at least 2 hours to fit from Israel to striking distance within Iran (or go deep into Iran to strike important target) with refueling. Note, with refueling.

So if Iran send say 200 (and 80 makes through), that's a higher impact than 50 F35 and f16 combine strikes. And be rest assured, some of the jets will be lost. But then, before they can return to their bases, very likely, those bases will be gone.

Iran's ballastic missile will reach Israel within 10mins. Hypersonics will reach in less than 4mins.

For clarity. See the size of Israel compared with Iran. Israel can drop 6 nukes in Iran and Iran will still survive. Iran can drop 3 nuke in Israel and they are gone forever.

Iran can only place a limited amount of nuclear material on missile delivery system.

Israel can deliver nuclear bomb via advance stealth aircraft and precision missiles.

Israel has over 90 and can quickly ramp up to 200.

To destroy the whole of Iran, Israel would need not up to 20!

Iran doesn't even have one yet and has not tested it's efficiency!

As for arming the separatists...No they haven't started because it's too risky a venture for both US and Isreal, after the Alqaeda experience...the west is wary of arming any Arab group that may turn around to hurt it later.

But if the centre is distracted, the danger of the separatists groups getting bolder becomes greater and that's where Iran will face serious problems.

I can guess straight away that Isreal will start by attacking Iran economically, destroy oil production facilities, to limit access to money, target nuke sites to limit nuclear threat....then telecommunications facilities to further create confusion. Then target other critical infrastructure....no need to send soldiers hunger and year's of discontent will turn many Iranians to soldiers ready to turn on the Atatollah.

The aftermath will be bad.. if Iran implodes the whole world will feel it....but as I wrote earlier...the Iran we know today will be history by then.

1) People should know that Iran was primarily responsible for sending America running from iraq, when it deployed those land mines that helped retire the Humvees while maiming hundreds of service men, through the shia brigades in Iraq.

Also remember that Iran has in the Russians and Chinese, two big powerful allies, that have been helping out with the modernisation of her fighting tools for decades. These two, see the Iranians as strategic allies in the middle east. So..

4) Another angle people may need to register, is the fact that with Russsias massive influence in Persia, Mr Putin might engineer a huge crises in the middle east to force the west to lessen their concentration of military treachery in Ukraine .

After the dusts must have settled several years later, Iran as it is now will be history!

I still don't understand how there will be several armies within a country...terrorists will have their own army and they will co-exist side by side with the genuine army of the country.
