From freezing state account to the insults and violent rhetorics. In a free n fair election, take it to the bank, Tinubu will loose. They want to take back Osun to the days of half salary |

Jaywon234: …33 More Suspected Electoral Mercenaries Arrested in Ede
The Osun State Police Command has arrested a serving member of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiola Ibrahim Inaolaji, alongside 146 suspected electoral mercenaries camped at his residence in Ikire.
The lawmaker, who represents Irewole/Isokan State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, was arrested on Friday night during a police operation. More than 200 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) were reportedly recovered during the operation.
In a video clip, Ibrahim was seen making a preliminary statement in which he identified himself and allegedly confessed to facilitating the movement of the 146 suspects into Osun State from neighbouring states for the purpose of voting in the election.
The arrest is part of intensified security operations by the police ahead of the election, as the command moves to prevent activities capable of undermining the credibility of the electoral process.
In a separate operation at Babs Hotel, located behind the State High Court in Ede, operatives of the Anti-Robbery Section and the Violent Crime Response Unit (VCRU) arrested 33 suspected electoral mercenaries.
The suspects comprised 30 males and three females and were arrested following credible intelligence about the presence of a group of persons allegedly assembled for suspicious electoral activities.
According to the police, preliminary investigations indicated that the suspects were brought into Osun State from Ondo State to participate in unlawful electoral activities.
The suspects reportedly told investigators that they were recruited by a yet-to-be-identified politician, who allegedly facilitated the procurement of voters’ cards for them and instructed them to vote in exchange for financial rewards.
Four voters’ cards were recovered from the suspects and taken into police custody as exhibits.
The command said investigations had commenced to identify and apprehend other accomplices still at large and to unravel the full extent of the alleged network involved in the recruitment of electoral mercenaries, voter inducement and other related offences.

They only report news that favours their principal. Meanwhile, Nigerian police and its bias is also not surprising too. Anyway, whatever they do, they should not allow the APC near that government house; else they will suffer for it. |

Let's be clear, rather than Osun to fall into this devilish APC's hand, yes we prefer the no brain Adeleke. It is not that APC has shown brain either. They just looking for places where they can rule over state resources and plunder them and deceive citizens with lies and propaganda while the loot their common wealth. I fear for the future of these kids Why you dey fear? Is it not the seed they planted? In time, they will all run out of foreign shops to loot, they will begin to loot themselves. Unfortunately at that time, a thief is already a well established thief and can't resist stealing even from their own. Bible says train up a child in the they should grow such that when the child grows up, they will not depart from it. These ones already chose a path, an unfortunate one for that matter. |

uche87: https://www.facebook.com/share/1DKHdkvYAe/?mibextid=wwXIfr Firstly I did not read the whole write up, so pardon me if my opinion might not be the response you looking for. But when topics like this comes up, I just feel sorry for the woman. You there running your race. Someone comes along to join in the race. Rather than focus on your race and get to the finished line, you decided to back out of the race and leave it to person that joined you. Society has shaped from time to believe that it is a one man, one woman world but time and time again has biology tested that and shown that it is a failed tradition. This has been since days of Adam and I don't see it stop till the world come to an end. I haven't seen the bible or quoran condemn it. They only recommend that, even possible be single. Let's be clear about this, I do not support infidelity however, if you find yourself in that situation, backing out only denies you especially when you have build something wonderful. When she leaves, no be another man she will end up with. So my own opinion is to stay if you have a wonderful thing going on and focus on your race, protect what you can. Keep what you have if it is not abusive marriage from onset. It doesn't imply you shouldn't express your disappointment but be more receptive. You might just regain what you think you lost. This life ehn, think well before you decide cos your decision doesn’t judge anybody, rather it even justify everything. |

Visit every secondary school to do what?
You don't have to visit every school in Nigeria. First of all do you know how many schools are in Nigeria? What is the purpose of visit when you have ministry of education and something they call delegation of duty? Must you be there personally?
Seems this dude is under estimating the amount of responsibility he would get as president.
Lamba king has spoken. He doesn't even know the implication of what he is saying. He just wants to talk because he is desperate to be president... so he says whatever comes to his mind without filter.
Say anything he likes... dude talk is cheap.
Desperate dude.
::: Don't misconstrue what he said. He said he visited every secondary school in Anambra. He did not say he visited every school in Nigeria and even if he says so, the message here is clear. He is a talk and do person and nothing your likes says will change that. |

runningriot: It is imperative to state that this is classical fallacy, that is very much impossible... As a president you have so many engagements that you can't even imagine seeing your family some days let alone visiting every secondary school in Nigeria that is astronomically insurmountable. Campaign should be issue base and not propagandas. Political rhetorics should not be amplified when soliciting for votes rather it should be achieved through the paradigm and reality on ground... But he did... that is a fact. Have you called the schools and they said otherwise |

yemmight: And as a Governor in Anambra State, you never built a single school. That is a lie. Even Google will tell you other wise. He did both as government and individual and he still supports schools till date. Lets even assume what you said is true, when the older schools are in dilapidated state, why build a new school when you can renovate or improve on what was existing. The way you Nigerians think is very shallow. Is the solution to educational challenges building new schools or making better what was before? You just spoke like a narrow minded person. Every thing new new. Those that built new, how has education improved in their location? Abeg, dey reason things not out of hate but out of objectivity |

It is just unfortunate that the guy is the one that will take the fall especially when Gbaja has been shielded by the presidency and the reason is not far fetched, compromising Gbaja is like opening a tap to leakage, Gbaja go expose his principal activities, including the one that has nothing to do with the topic. Even as we speak, I am pretty surethe guy would be redundant a bit, where he had equal access and influence with someone like Okunola, the personal secretary, if I know Tinubu well, Gbaja would be taking orders from him now to mitigate the stupid errors of Gbaja and exposing him to ridicule. |

Anyway if Peter Obi thinks he can use the same Church strategy that he used to become governor, to now become President, he will be disappointed like before How did Peter Obi drag the church into this now? APC did not bring in the church when they decided to share rice for Bishops and father's, so as to appeal to them and their congregation. APC did not bring in the church when Christians are slaughtered, neither did they bring in when they inflicted hunger, pain in the land but it is Peter Obi just because he is catholic that dragged the church into it... SecuritybriefNg: Let's Discuss About This. l So the question beckons, WHAT IS TRULY THE COST OF GOOD GOVERNANCE? The cos of all these promotional or campaign items is enough to fund schools, primary health centers. The money used in sharing the rice is enough to make food cheap and affordable. The cost of sharing fridges, generators, is enough to provide regular power supply, the give away cars, vans, buses and other vehicles is enough to provide good road or transportation. All these bureaucracies only make everything most costly and expensive unnecessarily. So tell me, what truly is the cost of governance |
