Pls can someone explain to me the essence of this hijab. I heard its supposed to make ladies "unattractive" to the opposite sex except their husbands. Pls is this true?

If its true, isn't the Barbie in red dress "attractive"? And then, why its being applauded? Most of our Muslim sisters dress that way too. Why cover head and leave out chest? Isn't the chest more appealing when it comes to sexual attractiveness?
Also, what of the elaborate make-up? Is it still in concord with simplicity in dressing?

Pls these are my honest questions.

5b)Who is the man about whom, Allah has said in the Qur’an that his body is kept as an admonishing example for future generations to come?

Hello nairalanders. This is no joke. Last week Saturday, my cousin was returning from Lagos to village, when he had an accident before Benin and died instantly.

His remains is in the mortuary but his spirit is disturbing.

He'll go to his maternal home as well as his other relatives' houses and be knocking. If one should open the door, he/she wont see anyone.


Has anyone here encountered the same problem because I'm really scared.

Is there any solution?

Lagos – Two unemployed men — Seun Peter and
Kayode Odubanjo — were on Wednesday charged
with using a stolen Automated Teller Machine
(ATM) card to steal N330, 000 at a Lagos court.
Peter, 23, and Odubanjo, 18, who both reside at
No. 3, Shonuga, St., Sogunle, Oshodi, are being
tried for conspiracy and stealing at an Oshodi
Magistrates’ Court.
The prosecutor, Cpl. Kehinde Olatunde told the
court that the duo committed the offences on
Dec. 8 at their residence.
He said that the accused conspired to steal an
ATM card belonging to one Mr Mustapha Ayaba
and later used it to withdraw his money.
“The accused stole the ATM card and withdrew
the complainant’s money leaving only N2, 000 in
his account,’’ Olatunde said.
He alleged that Peter, who was accommodated by
the complainant, stole his ATM card and gave it
to Odubanjo, a neighbor, to withdraw the money.
“Peter took the card after he had seen the pin
number written in a book kept in the room.’’
“When the complainant went to the bank to
withdraw money, he discovered that his balance
was only N2, 000.
“Following investigations, the photograph of Peter
was showed as the one who used the ATM card
to withdraw the money.’’
The offences, Olatunde said, contravened Sections
285 and 410 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State,
2011.
The Section 285 prescribes a three-year jail term
for stealing, while Section 410 stipulates two
years imprisonment for conspiracy.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the offences
and were granted bail in the sum of N50, 000
each with one surety each in like sum.
The Magistrate, Mr O. L. Owolabi, adjourned the
case till Jan. 13, 2015 for mention. (NAN)

Under Age Female Suicide Bomber Arrested Near
Kano Market.

Nigerian security operatives this afternoon arrested
an under-aged girl in old Kano city with explosives
attached to her body.
Miss Zahra'u Babban Gida, said that she was abducted
from Bauchi State by suspected members of the
Islamist terror group, Boko Haram, she was strapped
with explosive vest.
Alhaji Tashid Aderile Shinaba, the Kano Police
Commissioner confirmed that officers arrested the
girl based on suspicion of her movements opposite
the Kantin-Kwari textile market.
We are appealing to Northern Elders, Religious and
political leaders to as a matter of urgency try to
stop this new trend of using innocent children as
walking Bombs.
These leaders pooled their energy and related
resource in taking power from the South by all
means in 2015 and forgetting that the increasing
rate of children suicide bombers will surely sink the
entire North, if not checked mated
