The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released a list of approved post-graduate awarding institutions in Nigeria.

A bulletin issued on Monday from the office of the Executive Secretary dated May 14 contains the list of federal, state and private universities currently allowed to issue such certificates.
Out of the 41 federal universities across the country, 26 are approved by the commission for post-graduate programmes:

3. Bayero University, Kano

4. Federal University of Technology, Akure

5. Federal University of Technology, Minna

6. Federal University of Technology, Owerri

8. Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola

9. National Open University of Nigeria, Lagos

10. Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna

11. Nnamdi Azikwe University, Akwa

12. Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife

13. University of Abuja, Gwagwalada

14. University of Agriculture, Abeokuta

15. University of Agriculture, Makurdi

16. University of Benin, Benin City

17. University of Calabar, Calabar

18. University of Ibadan, Ibadan

19. University of Ilorin, Ilorin

20. University of Jos, Jos

21. University of Lagos, Akoka

22. University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri

Similarly, only 25 state universities were approved by the commission for post-graduate programmes out of the 47 state owned universities in the country. The approved universities are :

2.Type in your JAMB registration Number or provide your GSM Number/Email Address in the appropriate columns.
3. Lastly, select the button ‘Print Mop-Up Examination Slip’ to access your exam details.

All Questions are Multiple Choice. Examination subjects are: Mathematics, English Language (20 questions each) and 3 other relevant subjects (according to candidates choice of subject combination) of 15 questions each, that is, a total of 85 questions to be answered in 1 hour.
Students are to report at designated venues – according to the schedule on the Examination Pass. The examination pass will be printed out a
week to the entrance exam Commencement date. All candidates must be at the designated venues two hours before the scheduled Examination time.

The point grading system and post utme was adopted where o'level was 20,post Utme 30 and UTME 50

*O'lEVEL

A1 = 4 points
B2 = 3.6 points
B3 = 3.2 points
C4 = 2.8 points
C5 = 2.4 points
C6 = 2.0 points

Students o'level grades in the five relevants subjects were added together .

UTME
Jamb score was divided by 8
I.e y/8 =50
So your weighted score =50+20+30=100
