The Napper is the so called rocker; it's supposed to vibrate when you attach and turn on the small battery operated black device. Mine no gree vibrate though, it's only playing soft music and other white noises plus night light.

Howdy @goodfortune here's a picture of the Playard. Still trying to assemble it. The object in my hand is supposed to be two but I have only one here meaning I'll have to send someone back there to collect the other one.

Good to know. Well, I wasn't really offended because I've not met her before and it's her business and it's not compulsory I buy things from her.
I specifically asked for some things and requested for the pictures of those things which she hasn't sent. She just sent me her shop address. I may not be able to go to her shop myself but wanted to send someone there to get d things I choose.
Anyway, I've gotten most of the things from Zaynie and I'm satisfied with both her customer service, price and products. I've also stumbled on some nice websites that sell baby things and they take payment on delivery.
I hope to check on sometime maybe after my delivery.

If not that u stay in lekki would have ask u to check her store it's at ketu all her stuffs are imported .. any way for the mattress you won't be able to use it until baby is 6months older so what I did was to get a fluffy duvet moreover u won't be able to add mattress on the bassinet it might put pressure on it.

Niiice, girl, you are indeed lucky. Yea, Ketu is quite a distance from me From what I've been reading and told so far, there are Mattresses specially made for Playard/ Pack n Play.

For baby. I'll send you picture when I set it up which will be on Sunday because that's when D.H and I will have time to unbox all I've bought so far. In the meantime (batting my eyelashes at ya) you should get yourself a glider to rock you back and forth.

Yea but I find that thing it comes with to be too thin to support an older baby. It's still in the box though. Will know for sure after I set it up. they had the ones of 47k and 72k. I got the one of 72k and that's because it has a Rocking seat/Napper, Changing pad and pockets by the side to hold stuffs like Diaper, Wipes, Cream etc. while the one of 47k only has one or none of those extras. Note that these prices I've mentioned were gotten only after I haggled with the sellers.

Yes dear , I was the one she told she was at church and like I said she didn't sound rude but her slow response or lack of was somewhat annoying and I really don't have patience for such when it comes to business. It's even because you said you got good stuffs from her that I kept calling. It's all good though as I already spoke with her today . I'll be visiting her. Who knows, she might just turn out to be a very nice person.

@ eksbabe, I noticed d lady is on WhatsApp. So I tried to contact d lady and she's asking for d name of d person that gave me her number. I wanted her to send me pics of what she has but her response is too cold. She said things are not done that way.
It's not like I was stalking her, I approached her nicely and told her someone that shopped from her gave me her contact and I want to buy this and that. That's all

She wasn't rude to me when I called her on Sunday but the fact that she didn't get back to me when she said she would even after I had left her a message on WhatsApp simply gave me the impression that she either has too much money already or she simply doesn't enjoy her business. However, she sent me a message very late Monday night with an apology saying she forgot. I told her no problem then went on to ask what she has available but that question received no question, it appears she turned off her WhatsApp. While I was out shopping yesterday, I still called her because other than buying some clothes from her, I wanted to find out if she has bibs and burp cloths in stock but her phone was off. Anyways, I've managed to reach her just before typing this so we're good.

Although i have not specifically used them. I follow them keenly, I use cloth nappies and i have almost every style there is available.and will definitely buy from them when i need more pieces.

Its very straightforward, dont let the terms put you off. .

Reuseable nappy is made up of two basic things.... waterproof cover and absorbent inner piece

The inner piece can be inserts or prefolds
Inserts can be small rectangular pieces that you simply place insude the cover and you fasten the cover around your baby much like you wear a disposable.

The prefold you fold it into 3 and place inside the cover and fasten to baby as above.

With the prefold you also have the option of wraping it around the baby like "napkin" and then fasten with either a safety pin or a snappi. And they you put on the waterproof cover. The prefold has layers already built in so you dont need to be an expert origami master to fold it as with thr old school "Napkins"

Every other thing is an accessory.

Diaper bag - waterproof as well to store the soiled diapers till you wash. No need to soak ina bucket. Just make sure you wash every 3 days at the max.

Liner help to catch poo and makes disposal easier.... especially if you are lazy like me. Lol!

Snappi - modern day nappy pin. No more pricking your fingers with safety pins...

Any mama here tried the Wambi reusable diapers yet? I like how colorful they are and that they're organic buuuuuut I'm imagining them to be fussy I mean with all the prefolds, inserts etc. I could be wrong which is why I'm curious to know .

Yes I've read something like that in the past and that caused me to steer clear off Liver but when my P.C.V kept dropping and all else failed to make it better, that young Doctor recommended it and for sure I brought up the vitamin A question; she told me that I'd have to eat a truckload of Liver to get an overdose on vitamin A. Of course I exaggerated at 'truckload' but you get my drift. I also didn't eat it every day, I ate it twice a week or thrice a week at that critical point but once I started feeling better, I reduced consumption to once a week and now I only eat it whenever I remember which is like once in two weeks or so. One last note; I was 25 weeks along when I started consuming Liver. My M.I.L also said she took Liver during her time and always felt better afterwards. Even when I told my dad who was always calling to check on my health, he was ''oh,oh I remember that's what they used to give to pregnant women''. So, there's my story.

Blood transfusion? didn't your doctor recommend organ meat ? Ox Liver is the best solution to this problem. You can try to spice it up with Salt, Pepper, Butter or Oil then grill or cook it however way you want but I heard grilling or roasting works best so I always grill mine. You'll need it to be between tender and tough. I used to be in your shoes, I could barely walk without fear of collapsing at a point and all the doctor would tell me was to eat well even when I had been eating waaaay better than well. I was even threatening to sue the hospital I used then because I was blaming it all on the prenatal drugs they gave me. I'll forever be grateful to a young Doctor I met on one of my appointments; my ob/gyn wasn't around so she attended to me. She was the one who told me to go home and eat organ meat ,red ones and not from Chicken. I called D.H and told him, that evening he came back with big bags of Liver and Kidney but I could only eat the Liver as I found the kidney to be very disgusting. Guess what, that night I slept better than I had in months I ate it religiously till I got back myself and now I only eat it once in a while even though my P.C.V is back to normal. God bless my present Ob/Gyn for it was he who explained to me the real reason why my P.C.V dropped that low. I am not a medic so I can't even recall all the big words he used but he made me understand that it was only a minor imbalance between the blood cells due to change in hormone brought on by the pregnancy . Try eating some Liver and let us know how you feel.

Hi Mama. Your baby can safely sleep in a playard however it is not advisable to put an additional mattress in it. Use the one that comes with it. Although my baby doesn't primarily sleep in the playard anymore (my bed has an add on section for him), he used to with no issues. Mama Jazzyjazz does your lo sleep in his playard?

This is good to know and from what I've been able to gather from other sites, it seems many mamas are using or have used Playards as their L.Os primary bed. I'll look for a very sturdy one to buy as I reason it will be more convenient. Thanks a bunch.

Honestly, I prefer a Crib too but what bothers me is not knowing when we would have to move and if L.O would still require it's use then. If yes, na to dey buy Crib for every location be that which is why I'm also looking into Playard.

Join me in welcoming My Charming Prince who made his grand arrival on the 22nd April between 6pm and 7pm ( I'm not so sure of the time, I was very unconscious) weighing 4KG through C.S after several attempts to do same through vaginal.

Also thank God on my behalf for saving my life and my prince through the whole process.
