0m0nnakoda:Onitsha main market posts over $3 billion annual transactions. That's over N2 trillion. Taxing only 5% of these transactions will generate an IGR that is bigger than the entire Ogun IGR. And remember VAT is 7.5% The only problem is that 60% of these transactions are unbanked. |
Objectivist04:Thanks |
Holluwhakemmy:Igbos are far richer than Yorubas. It's never in doubt. Yorubas are only richer on NBS papers. Omo eru ![]() |
Ballmer:Igbo orchestrated the first coup? Yorobbers still think we are in the era of Yorrober propaganda dominace. What was Nzeogwu doing in the house of OBJ the night before the coup? Why would Igbo carry out a coup to install Awolowo who is in prison for planning a coup against Nnamdi Azikiwe and Balewa? Some of you people are f00lish. Igbo was the president. Igbo was the Senate president. Igbo was head of the military. Azikiwe rejected Awolowo alliance proposal to join forces to form a government. The same Igbo crushed the coup. On a very good day, we will talk about how Yoruba role in the coup and how you guys successfully pinned that coup on Igbos because Ibadan controlled the media at during the 1960s. You are uninformed. Igbos controls the gas 100%. We are also exploiting the gas through Igbo-led companies. Also, all our gas pipelines are built and managed by Oilserv, another Igbo company. You think Igbos are unwise like Ijaws that lets them destroy their land and be begging for clean up? Again, before the discovery of oil, Igbo palm oil and coal were powering your economy. And we controlled both. We can never allow anyone to turn us to slaves for our own God-given natural resources. ![]() |
Yorubas are destroying the country like they destroyed Ibadan |
Maybe we should start the Igbo gas for Igbos campaign ![]() |
Today, those who are powering their economy with Imo gas are busy demolishing Igbo properties in Lagos? Ingrates |
horsepower102:Thanks |
KingKO22:We are talking about 200 + 950 trillion cubit feet of gas not those three cups of gas your leaders are flaring. 1,120 Trillion cubic feet of gas na your mate? |
Ballmer:Ok. Chop your oil, lets chop our gas. We already have enough oil in the SE to power our economy. |
horsepower102:Drop the link, lets pepper them. I have never seen people so f00lish. Imagine living off Igbo gas and you are busy demolishing Igbo properties. Yoroobers need wisdom. |
Smartguyboy:Show respect to the Second Largest economy in Nigeria. |
Igbodicool:They got the CNG by compressing IMO gas. If Imo stops supplying, there will be no gas for them |
KingKO22:You get CNG by compressing NG. If Imo state stops supplying, there will be no CNG for you. So, you have benefited directly from Igbo natural resources? ![]() |
The FG powers Lagos through natural gas piped from Imo. Shell is also proposing to pipe another IMO gas to Ogun state. Don't forget that Imo state holds 200 trillion cubic feet of gas and is currently the highest producer of gas in West Africa. Without Imo state gas, Lagos state would have been in perpetual darkness. I think Imo state government should start taxing Lagos state for powering their economy. It's unfortunate that those who live off Imo gas are demolishing Igbo properties in Lagos state. Ungrateful people. In another news, Imo state now has the second largest economy in Nigeria. The GDP will experience over one-third growth if the Shell - ANOH $3.5 billion gas project kicks off, and this will make Imo the fastest growing economy in Nigeria. Also, IMO state is expected to supply gas to the almost completed Aba Geometric Power. This integrated power project will supply 24 hours power supply to Aba before the end of 2024, the first city to achieve that in Nigeria, making Aba the manufacturing hub of Nigeria. It's important to note that the ANOH shell gas plant is capable of producing 2.0 GW of electricity, which is about 500 times the capacity Nigeria is producing today. I hope those wondering why IMO voted overwhelmingly for Hope Uzodimma are seeing the reasons. After Imo, Igbos will move to Anambra which holds about 5X the Imo gas reserve at over 950 trillion cubic feet. IMO state will likely feed the Nigeria - Morocco gas pipeline. If Imo pulls out, then the project will be dead on arrival. Gas is the future and IMO and Anambra states are leading the charge. We rise Share if you support "Igbo gas for Igbos" Like if you support "Igbo gas for Nigeria" |
BlakKluKluxKlan:He uses Tinubu as his profile picture on Facebook. |
Yoruba and their owambe governance. So, Fulani will sack a village and displace the abroginals to an IDP camp and the best the Yorubas can do is to build a container called house for them to live in, instead of chasing away the bandits and reclaiming the lands? So much for Tinubu will handle economy and Shettima will handle security. |
Not surprised. SW is the poorest region in the South. |
Oya BATstards come and wail away your future. Your true President is now in Kaduna doing presidential things. Asiwaju said its the act of God. Peter Obi is calling for a foundation to take care of the orphans. LEVELS... |
Brenbentondiaz:Lies A factory will have greater impact at the point where its distribution chains stop. Stick to mining skulls. Explain how Ogun will benefit more from dangote refinery than Anambra. I am interested in knowing how economicaly smart you're, |
Maize247:Edison is Fubara's boy |
It seems Fubara is winning the war. The next is to declare the seats of the 27 law makers vacant after winning at the Supreme Court |
Dangote Refinery won't solve our FX problem. It might exacerbate it if the refinery operates at full capacity. It won't also significantly reduce the price of petroleum, unless government continues to subsidy petrol. At best, it will help knock off N150 from the price of fuel which is still over 100% more than what Buhari left for us. Dangote Refinery will not directly increase Lagos IGR by more than 10 billion. My guess is that it'll add only about N5 billion. The refinery will only make the federation richer. Dangote Refinery will not increase Ogun IGR by more than N500 million. Dangote Refinery will have a greater economic value to far away Anambra than Ogun. Mark all these. I don't have time to explain these pointers. Children of hate will call me a hater. |
basty:Kwara is a Northern state. But there are Yoruba immigrants there. It doesn't mean Yorubas own the state. Yoruba states are only Oyo and Osun. Ogun is an Ijebu and Egba state and both are not Yoruba. Efon people own Ekiti. Awori and Bini own Lagos Ijaw and Bini owns Ondo State Yoruba is not a talk. More like a political alliance of all these ethnic groups. |
While Yorubas are busy building an eye sore they call villages |
Yoruba Moslems have been crying since their hero and Messiah surrendered. It shocked them |
Tinubu will be the last Yoruba man to rule this country |
Another nonsense from Ayegba 😂😂😂 |
