This may be true. As a tour operator, I have met someone from Curacao. They said the country is part of the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) and that many people there are originally from West Africa And yes, the person has Dutch nationality.

I think the registration and feedback process was shabbily done. Many people got the registration successful mail and no other communication thereafter, even though this was promised. We are here and the security details insisted that only those who received codes will be allowed in. People spent so much to come here but couldn't even go in to the event.
It's funny and sad at the same time.

Start from Benin Republic if you don't mind. Their tech ecosystem is burgeoning and is worth the while if you are in tech. As a remote worker, you can still work from there and come to Nigeria anytime you like. Electricity is relatively stable, internet is good but a bit expensive compared with Nigeria, neighbourhoods are safer, and social infrastructure is way better than here.

P.S: I'm not fully into tech or living in Benin fully, but as a tour operator, I move around and always appreciate the country whenever I go there. May consider moving there next year.
